@DARK_RITUAL:
It's funny how you say Hajrudin saying he wants to be king of giants makes him important outside Dressrosa then you ignore Ideo words saying he hasn't gotten any kind development.
Ideo was named a boxing champion in New world, Ideo said he wants to get stronger that's why he is looking for the strongest. A punch strong enough to send a giant flying is no joke and that was his casual punch. If Hajrudin screaming he wants to be king of giants is a development then Ideo has better development.
A lot of the people at the Colosseum were wanting to become stronger (Rebecca, Hajrudin himself, Burgess…). Remember what the prize was.
Ideo's goal is extremely generic in this case. At least Hajrudin wanted to become stronger for more developed reasons (being the king of giants is actually a pretty big deal considering how much hyped Elbaf has been). Also, Hajrudin had more scenes outside of the Colosseum, being the first guy to acknowledge Usopp. What did Ideo do since C-Block?
Being able to punch an unconscious giant away has nothing to do with this. Dude literally didn't defeat anybody of name at the Colosseum. Not a good portrayal, IMO. He punched Hajrudin away, disappeared, reappeared fighting Sai, disappeared again when Chinjao swatted him away and now he is inconstantly shown every now and then.
Now, I really want to make it clear that I have nothing against the Colosseum dudes. Suleiman, Dagama and Elizabello are favorites of mine, and 2 of them were the first ones to fall. Some of them, however, just feel more important than others, even not counting the even more important ones such as Cavendish and Bartolomeo.
Not saying Oda can't make Ideo work in a satisfying way, but with the way he's been treating this character, I'm not sure he will do it.
