ProPublica recently did an in-depth analysis and found that black kids between ages 15-19 are 21 times more likely to be shot and killed by cops than white kids of the same age. That's an insane statistic. That's per capita, not total. If you are a black teenage boy, you have a 21x higher risk of being shot by police than a white teenage boy.

Also, in 2010, federal prosecutors took 162,000 cases to a grand jury. You know how many DIDN'T go to trial? Six.

Police have a hard job. What they do is something I couldn't ever do. But you know what they rarely have? Accountability. In this case, the prosecutor, Robert McCulloch, always gets indictments — unless it's a cop. He's had five cop-involved killing cases and zero indictments. Again, five cases against police haven't made it to trial at all. He could get an indictment if he wanted one.

Here's the thing. I do believe people are good. But sometimes there are a lot of aspects that make people do things they regret. Yeah, Hollywood tell us life is Black and white but that's not it guys. Yes, there are rotten people in cartels but a lot of them don't are they cause of choice. Some of them had to decide between starving, seeing their whole families be murdered or just wither away in a lost town. We don't know the history of the ones that died.

And there's also that. They were people. And i've always thought it's one of the worst things is to rejoice at someone's death. And not just any death. They were burnt alive. Maybe that's a religious view. I don't know.

But i'm losing myself. Oh yes. I know people sometimes just say things without thinking them but well…

Dude, no one's throwing confetti at the thought of people being burnt alive. Regardless of the fact that some people do have it coming we don't know for what or why these people died, so yeah, let's just leave it at that.

There's no reason to apologize because you (and Holy) are definitely right that it's not fair or wise to use the word "thug" in any way to imply that these people got what was coming to them because you've got to know what's going on. We don't know the circumstances behind their life choices. We don't know what they have and have not done. We don't know who they were. All we know is that they were part of a cartel and they were brutally murdered. Like so many others. I have no love for the cartels but I can understand that…many people in the organizations are unfortunate sacrifices caught up in a very unforgiving tide with little choice. I'm not trying to make an excuse for them but rather an understanding of the other side.

I don't think (at least not how I read it) Bonney was implying that they deserved what happened to them but rather, there can be negative consequences for getting mixed up in that type of lifestyle. I don't know, I'm not here to defend Bonney or anything I'm just laying out my impression of what I read.

Mike Brown didn't do anything. He was not acting like a "thug", is the thing. He was a nice and shy kid, he did not rob a store, he did not assault the officer, we know this for a fact at this point as there is genuinely evidence contradicting clearly anything that Wilson testified.
