@Bond:
! The only one of the points I can actually address is the one about LightningSkull villain using the hostage to elude Sniper Cowboy. He was using the hostage to threaten the kids. He didn't even know about Sniper Cowboy until he got shot (from across the entire USJ! Twice even!)
! For everything else, there's Mastercard we'll have to wait for the story to develop further.
! Personally, I wouldn't want a single one of the students to drop out. They're just so colourful and fun!
Aww man, I sure wish I could speak Portuguese right now.
Oh wait, I can read Chinese.
! I don't want too many of the students to drop out, but exactly because they are so colorful and fun it would leave an impact when the readers gets shown "not even from those guys everybody can become a hero" by having some of them leaving the school. There is still a second class after all. If BokuHero runs long enough I could see those two classes getting thrown together into one as after 2-3 years both classes had lost enough members that merging them into one class makes sense. Besides just because they are not in the school anymore, if Hirokoshi does have a selective methode (and after hearing how an ENTIRE class was thrown out due the whimps of a single teacher, he better has one), doesn't mean they can't see each other anymore. There is still the city where they can meet and talk and play and what not.
@Bigivel:
! James Raye, is funny that you're complaining that is humiliating that this adult villains are getting their asses kicked by kids, and the first thing that Shouto, the ice and fire kid, says is something like "Be defeated by children is humiliating, you're adults aren't you?" XD
! It seems there is another big villain hidden. He supposedly cutting all the communications and the alarms of attack.
! Gj, Horikoshi!
Glad to see I wasn't the only one who found it weird how kids could beat up adults so easily even when they got awesome quirks.Seems like this really was intended to show the students and their powers off and less to etablish some villians.
@Bigivel:
Ended reading chapter 20 in Portuguese and the chapters are amazing!
about the chapters:
! So this attack is just a small attack and the narrator, that I almost 100% sure it is older Midoriya, says that it was just a warning to the stronger attacks to happen in the future. Things will gonna get EPIC and DIRE!
! So there is someone, some kind of informant, that knows that All Might got weaker and told Facepalm guy about that. Also it seems like it was that informant that told the School schedule to Facepalm guy.
! The villain plan was a simple one, bring a ton of weaker villains to distract All Might and the other teachers. Get the Electric villain to hide and to jam all the security signals to the outside. Get the smoke villain, Kurozari, to kill No. 13 teacher with his warp quirk. Get the black brain villain, Noumu, to defeat Eraserhead. And then with the 3 big villains(Noumu, Kurozari and Facepalm guy, Shigaraki) to kill All Might with combining attacks.
Noumu is an OP motherfucker and their trump card, he has 3 aspects to his quirk: Super Strength, Super Impact Absorption and Super Regeneration. By the words of Shikaragi, "Noumu was projected to be a Human punching bag, especially to fight against an All Might using 100% of his force". Shigaraki says "projected" so it seems to imply Noumu is not naturally created. Is it some kind of nourished quirk like All Might? Maybe.
! Also strange thing, Electric villain is a villain that doesn't like to kill, or at least doesn't like to kill kids. That is strange.
! Bakugou and Todoroki talked at least 2 times about how the Fodders villains were mega weak.
Midoriya talked about how the water villains plan only had one encirclement and there were no ambushes, because of that they were totally lucky.
! In the Portuguese translation there are at least 2 pages missing. They aren't that important pages and have only little talk, just the 1st page with the appearance of the principal and Ochaku going after Kurozari, but is a shame they are missing.
! That informant must be from the school, right? And if he knows about All Might getting weaker then not that many can have known about it….
! Man,for such a simple plan they sure failed on all accounts. Not a single teacher dead, All Might still alive and no student killed whatsoever. XD
At least, only the small fry villians got caught so that's something. Megaweak villians should not talk big about killing if they can't even scratch a single hero student. :P
@Bond:
! That explains so much! All the things James Rye complained about turned out to have been explained within the chapters themselves! We just couldn't understand them before now.
So Bird Brain is an anomaly of sorts. This opens up a whole new can of worms man, I don't even know where to start!
Warp Mist defeated No. 13 by warping the Black Hole behind him. Now there's a guy who's thinking with portals.
There's the implication that killing All Might is just one part of an even larger evil plan. I can't even begin to imagine what these guys are trying to achieve here.
And of course, the informant. Is thon a student? A teacher? Someone we don't yet know?
So excited for the English scans!
! Hey, if even Bakagou and co complained how weak those villians were then I had good reason to complain about the villians appearing way too weak for their strong entrance and fighting words to kill them all. xD
! A shame Warp Mist just "defeated" Nr13 and did not killed him. That would have left a shocking experience for the students, especially Uraraka for who Nr13 was her favorite hero.
Then again maybe Horikoshi wasn't sure if it was a good decision to kill off a hero yet, especially one that got just introduced. Besides it looks more and more like ALl Might gonna die before he can give Midoriya his whole power, so Midoriya gotta have to try on his own to control his power and to make it grow as a new All Might "All for one" power.
! Killing All Might, the symbol of peace and heroic strength, would throw the world into a frenzy. Panic. Horror. Terror. You name it, the world would not be the same anymore and the villians could appear more brutal and in bigger numbers. As we have seen heroes had troubles dealingwith some villians which AM beat in like a second. That shows a HUGE difference in strength and power.
I do wonder though how heroes and villians outside of the city where AM lives in cope with not having AM living and beating villians up there. Are there more lawless cities than lawful ones where heroes are strong enough to protect its citizens from villian plans? Well, we might see.
@Gliblord:
I don't know if the Brazilian subs mistranslated or what, but a couple of corrections:
! Noumu is an "artificial" human.
! The electricity villain didn't say he didn't like killing kids, he said he didn't like killing fellow electricity-users.
! It's not Kurozari, it's Kurogiri–I have his name as "Blackmist."
! He doesN't like killing fellow electicity-users? Quirk-rasicm? That would be interesting. Like Quirks were you morph your body like that guy who can grow limbs on his wings or quirks which mutatet your body like Tsuyu are seen as "lesser" quirks than "pure" Quirks where you control elemental power and such.
@bobop:
So the first volume raw is finally up online, and it seems we'll get characters profiles, with some omake. That's cool. I always love additional data in my volumes. I hope it get licensed in France quickly.
Also, if i understand correctly Horikoshi has 7 assistants.
7 assistants? Horikoshi must SWIM in money for so many assistants! o.O
