The way Sasuke was staring at Madara heavily implies that history is going to repeat itself. (hurrdurr) Calling it now: The series is gonna end with Naruto and Sasuke fighting at the Waterfall they fought at, at the end of Part 1. Fighting for the same reason The first and Madara were.
Naruto and Bleach V - The Not-So-Final Frontier

Well he did say he wants to be a Hokage. Plus the toad gave a prophecy that Naruto would fight a young man with powerful eyes, or something like that. It's not quite over yet.
-
It doesn't make sense! Not only Naruto just met with her exactly 2 days ago, but he didn't even knew who she was before that meeting. From where did he got all this love and emotion for that stranger that is his Mother? And he just bade farewell to her 2 days ago, and given that he didn't even slept between days it must look like the same day for him.
Because surely he didn't understand the concept of what is a mother before he met the spirit of his mother. Geeeez.
Yeah, and Kishi made him out to be a good guy just like Obito.
Madara's presentation in this chapter is consistent with his characterisation throughout. And it didn't really make him out to be a good guy any more than him trying to turn everyone into moon zombies did.
-
So… Wait, now that the sun got up in Naruto world, can someone count how many chapters did that one night take? 200?

His reaction in his Mother goodbye make a lot more sense and are a lot more emotional given the context:

Is not like he lived with her and due to circumstances he got away from her for years and now he telling that everything is alright.
Wow, I'm sorry but this seems like an insensitive post. It doesn't matter how long he's been with her, it doesn't matter how many days he's since seen her, it doesn't even matter if he never met her and only knew her name: She's a mother. HIS mother, and he's reacting accordingly to his parents coming and going. Orphan or not, having parents is the greatest thing in a world to a child and if you were in naruto's shoes and you found out that you had parents who loved you after everything he's gone through, I'm very surprised he wasn't drowning in his own tears. It speaks volumes in itself: "I have parents."

i just read new NARUTO CHAPTER WITH MY SISTER THERESA.

Out of seer curiosity how old are you?

What will happen to the remaining Zetsu? Spiral Zetsu is still alive, too.

LOL, No, it matters and it matters a lot! Being his "Mother" or his "Father" is just a title in the end of the day, what really matter is the connection that people make by living together, by interacting, by trusting each other, by loving each other. That's why is not important if you are a Biological parent or not. The connection is what is important. And is that same connection that Naruto doesn't have at all, not even when he was little, he was a orphan since newborn. Being curious about his birth parents and trying to find his identity by knowing them better and maybe even create a new connection(something that takes some time and not a few days) with them is one thing, but not what is happening here. Here is feeling a roller coaster of emotions.
I ask you why do you think that when Naruto met through when he said them goodbye to his mother and father Kishi didn't showed him an emotional wreck?
I ask you would you be able to met somebody for the first time in one day and the next day been crying your eyes out, because you will never met him again? And I'm not insensitive just because I believe that he shouldn't be reacting like that to somebody he just met!
-

Naruto's formed a connection with the parents he never had by the parents he imagined he could have.
As in, he has some concept of the mother and the father he could have had, and recent events have put a face, a name, a character to that.
-
I'll be honest: chapter was kinda cheesy but I'd be lying if I said I didn't like some scenes. Yes, where Naruto talks all excitedly about his goals and starts to break down in tears…..
Although I wonder how many wrap-up chapters are remaining. Are we gonna get a cool 700 as the final count?
-
I know jump usually announces the ending of a series very close to the actual last chapter, but wouldn't it make sense if naruto was ending soon to hype up the big finale. Maybe we will get the news closer to 700 if kishi decides it is a good point to end the series on, or it just means it won't end anytime soon.

but than why didn't he reacted like that when he first met her and when he directly said goodbye to her? And the same to his father.
As I showed the images a few posts back, he reacted like a normal orphan kid that never had met his mother, well in reality he reacted to well given that normally the meeting is awkward but he didn't reacted awkward at all(or did he in the beginning? I don't remember), and the one crying an feeling emotional was his mother, that died when he had just born, wasn't able to see him growing and was fearful about his reaction when meeting her and hearing the story(given that in the end she left him alone in the world), but got super emotional for hearing him thanking her for being his mother. If crying his eyes out were his reaction toward meeting her it would make sense, it would characterize him and tell us how differently from normal he handled the experience of being orphan all his life. But No, he first reacted similar to the norm, and than one day after, and without seeing her off directly, he reacts in a totally different way.
Is obvious that Kishimoto just forced the situation to make the ending of the series more emotional. The thing is that it doesn't adds ups at all.
-
Don't be fooled so easily my young padawan. Darth Kishius is just trying to trick our minds into thinking it is over soon. Don't let him pull you onto his troll side.
You're being a bit cynical now master. I feel like it would take too much troll to keep the story going after this.
-

Well a part three would also be a continuation even if the current characters would only be side characters. And considering this new The Last movie is supposedly the start of a new era, it could mean that part three would begin at the start of 2015 and it's basically as if naruto didn't end at all. And some people may say, that a part three would be better than what we got in the recent years, but to me it looks like as if kishimoto completely forgot how to write a good story consistently, and I fear part three if there is one, is going to be the same garbage that part 2 is now.

Series ends don't get announced in advance. At best the chapter before will say "big announcement next week".
Usually you can tell its coming though. I'd have to imagine for all involved they'll shoot for that even 700 chapters.
-

Unlike Obito? The presentation yes, it's consistent, just the connotation it brings bother me. The dude killed countless ninjas in the last few chapters, but it's all good because he had good intentions.

They also gave their life for him.

They also gave their life for him.
And you would be suprised how little does it matter when you were not even aware of it.
But hey, basic rules of human psychology get broken all of the bloody time when it comes to media. It's better to ignore it and move on. Like laws of physics.

I'm not justifying Kishi's decision to just put their parents in the later third of the game, or the way he exposed everything…I don't really remember every part of the manga, so I don't know if there's something in the story that supports what I'm about to say, but it does makes sense to me. See, I imagine that the most overcoming fantasy of an Orphan is about his parents. He must have been creating imaginary discussions with how he imagined his mom & dad were and all that. And even when he found another person to play the role of his parents, the real deal is the real deal. So this two tiny moments, that I imagine to be something that he never hope we could have, of talking with his parents are the only chance that he has to fulfill all that.
So that scene in the last chapter, in which he rushes with his speech so that he can provide the things mom's are "in charge" to know about, that tiny info about his life and accomplishments has an emotional ground to stand on... especially after the first meeting, that was all about "nobody should blame nobody, I'm fine, see?". To me, both phases are complementary. But I do know that Kishi didn't built that. I'm just explaining the way I've received it. haha.
-
I completely forgot about them until now but the tools that Madara spat out and Ten-ten picked up didn't come into play at all in the fight. What a waste.

They will probably be given to Naruto as a symbol of his status. …

What subject can he possibly explore with 100 % of all possible villains dead? Is it going to be about a GIGANTIC edo tensei that lasts 65 volumes where Konohamaru just runs around and defeat the old Naruto villains in chronological order?

Has Tenten done anything at any point in the series?

Nah, Madara's still a cunt, but Hashirama is too forgiving to shit talk him as he dies (again).

It's from one of the games.
Maybe it makes more sense in the game's story context? Otherwise, talk about trippy.

Eggxcatly.
From the description it does say it's from Naruto Storm Revolution. Wonder what the game's story is. Is it some weird bonus video or an actual part of the plot. Cause if it is, Sasuke got taken by some crazy Genjutsu.

You're under-eggxaggerating. I think eggcellent is more appropriate. Or eggceptional even.

Or… OR, it could be Naruto acting mature and cool towards his parents. And if you actually go back and see how he reacted to his father, he WAS an emotional wreck. Minato then told him all about his mother so he didn't have to be a wreck THEN too so he reacted accordingly, reassuring his mother that he wasn't just some lonely orphan who needed parents to be somebody. He himself, in the picture YOU posted, told her that he didn't blame her or his father for "abandoning him" or not sticking around to raise him. He grew up fine with friends and family eventually and became the man he is today. He gave his mother closure and that is some emotional stuff. He didn't break down and baaaaaw about "All this time I was so lonely, oh god, I wanted parents sooo bad and now I have them. I'm super duper happy! Waaaaah" That's not a good reaction, in fact that would've just made Kushina feel like she DID fail. But he didn't, he stood up, smiled and thanked her. The emotional response was not for him, it was for HER. It makes perfect sense.

The Naruto chapter was fine and Naruto's goodbye to his father to deliver a message to his mother was handled well, and eggxactly as it should have been handled.
I'm in eggreement with Supernova. I don't see Madara being redeemed in this chapter. Just an old rival saying goodbye. It wasn't Obito was a "cool guy" level stupidity.
So stop being eggnoramuses. :p
