@LordEnel:
It applies to hearing the sea kings for instance, I think it provides much more then a simple read of the phoneglyphs, I completely agree with the fact that Roger did in fact interact with the phoneglyphs, but he wasn't able to decipher it all, as Rayleigh suggest ( In my opinion that is)
It's a Haki thing. It's not a D thing. It's the same sort of Haki that Coby and Aisa are showing nascent talent in.
Where was this stated?
When Rayleigh was describing the Hakis I think.
Why can't then top tiers who have a much wider knowledge of haki do so.
It's implied to be a very very advanced skill.
( I take this from the surprise the sea Kings had For luffy when he heard them, for me it indicates that aside from those two individuals they heard no one else doing so.
Well yeah. It's rare.
Thought the gorosei don't influence directly the yonkous,
Correct. But they value the world order, and can influence the Yonkou through other means.
One piece is not all about extreme powerful and unbeatable characters, If Kaido Assembled his whole entire fleet and headed straight for the cake island, chances are Big Mom will die.
What? No that makes no sense. The implication is that (…and you said this too??) that all four Yonkou are roughly on the same level.
Going to war with one another has no guarantee of anything. Obviously Big Mom has forces roughly the same level as Kaidou's. If he began to amass his army, Big Mom would find out and amass her army.
In fact I think that a major component of Law's plan is to upset that balance in regard to Kaidou. To hurt him in a way that distrupts that balance and makes him notably weaker and vulnerable to another Yonko. Probably the supply of SMILEs is a key part of his forces, and for it to end would severely distrupt his balance of power with his rivals.
He could gang on her with 2-3 commanders for a quick kill, while the remaining thousands of soldiers buy time.
Yeah…except Big Mom also has commanders and thousands of soldiers...
If Kaido killed all the Yonkous, he would becoming king of the new world, and Pirate King. At least I would see it that way if I was a pirate on those seas.
Wrong, the series has established early on that the title of Pirate King needs you to get to Raftel.
Whitebeard would have been an unchallenged top guy immediately after Roger died and before the other three Yonko cropped up. But he never was the Pirate King.
I'm saying that the remnants of the ancient kingdom left the rio phoneglyph on an island which is very hard to reach purposely.
The Rio Poneglyph is something that had to be assembled. It didn't exist until Roger's quest (or maybe not yet either until Robin's quest). It's the product of bringing the information based Poneglyph messages together. I understand if you didn't know this because the online scans are pretty fucked up when this is revealed (end of Skypiea). But this is the way it is.
The Rio Poneglyph was (possibly) created only by Roger.
Though likely the last key Poneglyph is on Raftel too.
Basically though I'm saying the one who left the collected info together..on Raftel..in one piece…was Roger.
So that the D's who I assume are descendants of the ancient Kingdom would keep striving to reach the island, and thus never making them forget that one day the path they left behind must be acomplished, Even thought the members in question may not know of it, and just keep pursuing it as a personal goal.
Saul, Ace and Ace's mom were never shown with such interest. Ace abandoned that quest to serve a guy who was uninterested entirely in completing that quest. Also this doesn't make sense given Roger is the one who made the quest into a huge deal. If it was naturally a genetic (this is a really silly concept btw) urge, why would Roger need to have made potentially the entire world go for it?
But…But...But, it is fate?? It's fate that one of the D's will find raftel, and turn against the World Government and fight them, be it luffy, be it an other D in 200 years.
But but but it's not. This is never said in the manga or by anyone.
Well when everybody comes to the realization to what really happens, IF Luffy tells to the whole world about the Void History. Why not?
All three of those people are already heavily questioning their authority with or without Luffy's help.
Aokiji so much so that he quit the Marines. I mean seriously.
Ok, I did not think of that, that makes much sense, I agree that may very well happen, however half the world will now be on luffy's side, The blackbeard pirates are kinda outmatched ?
Not if they have some sort of super weapon hm?
What I said may or may not be. I guess that was just wishful thinking, I just found it weird that in such a corrupt and dictator like Government we find democracy…lol?
Where have we found democracy though?
And it's actually not that strange for smaller less powerful elements of democracy to exist in otherwise dictator run countries.
Both Iran and China have elements of democracy on some small level. In China's case it's very small in some tiny rural local government areas (I think Kazakhstan is implementing the same). Also the unelected officials in the Communist party vote for things, granted that makes it sort of like a dictatorship by council.
In Iran's case they "allow" (the amount of rigging is probably very very high) the election of the president. But that president has an unelected religious leader outranking him, who can basically shoot down any of his choices if he judges them as wrong.
Yet it's absolutely true that all three of those countries are authoritarian dictatorships at the same time.
They're just better than say…North Korea.
I Assume JoyBoy is a descendant of the Ancient Kingdom,
Joy Boy left a Poneglyph message. Meaning he existed during the Void Century.
Odds are he's dead.
I meant to Say Bonny's fruit Kept, Him, and the elder stars alive all this time.
Ah well actually that's something I agree with you on. At least in terms of the Elder Stars.
But again I see no reason to think of Joy Boy as factoring in with the World Government.
If the World Government are the enemies of the Ancient Kingdom, and the Ancient Kingdom made the Poneglyphs, and Joy Boy wrote one of the Poneglyphs..then logically Joy Boy must have been someone in the Ancient Kingdom. In other words, the enemy of the Gorosei.

@Darth:
Yes, because as we all know, all authoritarians are fascists.
Yup. That opinion it totaly correct.
Only it's not, but hey, you've been wrong before, haven't you?
What I'm noticing with you is a worship of the law for laws sake. The power that is matters more than the power that should be.
Quite funny coming from someone who lives in the world's most infamous shatterbelt.
Let's imagine you are the world's most amazing ageless Polish guy. You've been alive since the 1700's.
Let's take that philosophy of yours into action. You ironly like to serve the powers that be, you don't like the idea of that changing for any reason.
You serve the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth with a furor. In the city of Vilnius.
Oops. Now you live in the Russian Empire, oops now you live in an independent Lithuania, oops now you live in an indepedent Poland, oops now you live in the Soviet Union, oops now you live in Nazi territory, whoops back to the Soviet Union again, and finally pooped out of that into the end of the 20th Century in the modern country of Lithuania not even anywhere Polish.
I wonder what kind of wild ride through the crazy world of cognitive dissonance your value system would go through in that process lol.
