The ice pieces are the absolute best. Sculpt is impressive, the paint is incredible, right down to the ice flecks on his shirt. I posed the FAZ one with the ice so I wanted to keep the POP with the neutral pose but these pieces are so gorgeous..if I end up with the space he's got to have the ice sword.

I'm so jeleous right now!! If I had ordered him from amiami/HS I would have had him by now!! Hurray up 1Up and ship him!!!
Saw these Japanese video reviews the other week, he looks nice next to Doflamingo, but shame about the scale…......
Oh, and about Sailing Again Nami. A couple more have come back up on Manda. One opened for 3,500 yen ($35) and the other unopened for 4,000 yen ($40)…................ok so you'd have to pay 500 yen for handling and shipping would probably be around 1,300 yen for registered SAL, but you'd still get her for under $60............just saying.........
MegaHouse does not care about scale anyway XD
So once again after reading what happened in the new chapter…
! They have to seriously consider an extra face for the Cavendish POP.

Haha, I was going to post exactly the same thing earlier, lol…...Sadly I don't think it's gonna happen, but lets see what we get at Wonder Festival in 3 and half weeks!!

Yes Yessssss I want this __
Not just because it's a great thing, it is an important part of the character.
They must do an extra face for Cavendish now. They just must.
Apart from Perona and Enel, are there any other POPs with alt faces?

Doffy, sogeking (if you count the mask/usopp's face), sa Brooke, sa Franky.
Those are the only ones I own and know for sure but, if I'm recalling correctly, alternate heads seem to be pretty common.
Those are the only ones I actually own and know for sure.

They must but they will not…. This is what happens when you rush into characters without knowing who they are or what they do.
Mmm. They had some time putting an extra hair piece for Franky when the Straw Hats entered Punk Hazard so maybe…

Franky wa different. He took ages to be done, even after seeing him painted. I don't know what probelm did it had, but those extra little pieces were as compensation (and to justify the price).
I'll tell you what: I still do not want Canvedish SA but…
! I want a Hakuba MAS RIGHT NOW!
Apart from Perona and Enel, are there any other POPs with alt faces?
Yes, many. Also almost every MILD has 2 faces as well. If you look through MFC you can probably tell from the standard images Megahouse puts out.
That's quite a lot actually. I didn't think it was so common, but now that I think about it Megahouse has been doing a lot of figures with interchangeable parts.
Cant wait for Rebecca's P.O.P
I cant wait for fujitoras
offtopic, I ordered aokiji and enel so far, they looked bloody cool.
I'm looking for an ace right now, Ive had a look for the master stars, but some figures had some flaming fists, and some didn't, am I missing something?

The new chapter didn't gave me the feeling to get their POP at all, i'm safe!

Currently looking for :
Master Stars Ace has had 3 releases so far: Regular, Sepia Limited, and 'never released' flame-fist vibrant color (so to speak, long story). The one with the flames on ONE fist was never officially released. HOWEVER, the NEW 're-release' of MSP Ace DOES have flames on BOTH of his fists. That is the one that you should be able to find available for preorder currently. Also, the new one isn't wearing his hat but it's on his back. Another difference is it seems the new ace has a kind of 'haki eyes' that the other flame ace had, while the original just had fully black pupils.
The Sengoku you are seeking is not available yet, but will be eventually, probably over the summer. It will be in the Scultures line.
please note! Scultures will be MUCH SMALLER than POPs! They are not in scale with each other. MSPs are larger than POPs, also not in scale with each other.
is there by any chance an ace, with both options, where you can change arms to flaming and vice versa?

Well… There's POP Neo DX Ace:

I'm not sure why, but his stomach really weirds me out lol
I do love that gold paint though…

Ichiban Kuji help, please~! I rarely buy kuji so I'm a little lost. I'm looking to buy the Ace set (of course) but I don't need all of it per se. I was going to have a proxy go and play for me, but what are the odd there exactly? Also, should I wait (does kuji usually go down in price) or should I snap them up pretty soon? The prices for A and B prize are all over the place, I see them for $73-150/ea. Not quite sure what is up with that <_<;;

Ehehe well, there's tons of them XD But the MSP and POPs you can take the flames off if you're just looking for larger figures

It is exaggerated in a weird way. Super veiny and muscular. the same goes for Nightmare Luffy.

Kuji sets are so hard to predict, almost impossible… At least I don't see any dynamics there, it's always random. For example, I waited out on Admiral set and now all of the bigger figures from there can be found on Manda for like 2,5-3k yen! Crazy cheap! And it's only been a couple of month O: Some other sets (like Zoro one or Memories) never went down in price.
I'd say wait until early February, order bigger figures separately (Mandarake is probably your best choice) and all the small stuff together in a pile from Yahoo. Complete sets on Yahoo are usually more expensive than buying bigger + smaller stuff separately because I assume people take their fee for arranging it all together.

Ok thanks for the advice!! After looking around, I do think it's a good idea to pick up the little stuff all from the same seller, then just pick up the larger 2 figures I want when the price comes down.
I see vol 1 of the dramatic showcase is out now. Looks like they sell for between 1,000-2,000 yen each, anyone know if this price is expected to rise?
[hide][/hide]Funnily enough I re-watched the Episode of Alabasta film last night with my daughter and thought with Vivi coming out next week it could make for a really cool ending scene photo. With the back of Vivi & Carue in the foreground and the mugi's in the distance.
I guess Usopp & Luffy are next. Are there release dates for the rest of the set?:

Finally we can see the faces. They look nice, probably will look for them on Manda or YAJ once the set is completed.
Hmm I haven't decided it I'm buying this set or not. While I don't think it really has a place (or space, LOL! goodness…) in my shelves/display/collection, I think it would look REALLY awesome on a single glass floating shelf somewhere in the apartment, maybe with a framed background on the wall behind it. I don't usually let my figures leak too much into my living space as they reside in my collective 'art-cave' with my boyfriend (and we live with 1 other person so I feel it's rude to take over the whole apartment with my fandom/tastes), but I feel that this figure set would be suitable if I went about it in the way I described.
Then I can put the Shanks & Luffy memories kuji near it displayed in the same way… yesssss... I think I could get away with that...
I was thinking lately, looking at the scultures (basically something with a favorable sculpt but lacking painting that does it proper justice), does anyone ever buy the figures and try their hand at repainting them? I suppose you see it on YAJ, but I didn't know if anyone here thought of undertaking such a task…?

How much painting were you thinking? Small touch ups or something on a larger scale?
I've thought about that myself (actually have touched up some non OP figures - go go legacy megazord but only with a black gundam pen to make the detail in the plastic stand out) but painting itself, depending on how much touching up you were doing, might be difficult.
Just recently started making gundam models with custom paint jobs and the results have been…less than desirable and requires some time and patience. Practice will make perfect with that I guess lol
If you were going to do I would absolutely grab some cheap/crap figures you don't care about and practice first.

Yeah, it definitely is an art form all its own. I was looking at the Hody Scultures in particular, I think he's badass but could be a lot better with better paint and shading (as is the case with most prize figures). I have an airbrush and sandpaper, I can remove paint, all that stuff. I just don't know how to USE the airbrush haha! Might as well put it to work. Most scultures are about 1000-1500Y so not that bad. It would be a worthy little project, I suppose. I was looking at a website where a fellow re-painted simple 'barbie' dolls of famous people (audrey hepburn, hunger games, dorothy, JLo etc) to make them look accurate. It's astounding what a proper, attentive, high-quality paint job will do to a sculpt (or to a person's face).

An airbrush! I'm jealous. Haven't had the money to invest in one yet.
Look through this guide:

Its mostly for gundam model/assembly but there is a part about airburshing that you might find useful. (Found it on 4chan) Also has stuff about top coating, thinning paints, etc. Hope it helps!

Yeah, I still lurk about from time to time. Its sad because I know the quality of this line rarely lives up to its potential but just love how dynamic that Brook is. Poor guy doesn't get nearly enough merchandise

He looks so nefarious. lol.
I don't know too much about the Scultures line. Can anyone shed some light on the line in general for me? I'm mostly wondering if that Brook figure is part of the BIG series.
I ordered film Z Nico Robin P.O.P i bought her for $60 with free shipping.

Hit & Miss. So-so quality.
Hit & Miss. So-so quality.
Although SCultures Series 2 has been pretty rockin'. I thought all of Series 2 came out wonderfully, whereas a good chunk of Series 1 had real problems with quality.
I've been eyeing that Brook too. Might just pick it up now that you say the quality is better than the first series.
By the way, does anyone have a link to that blog with the guy who sculpts his own WCF? I used to have it bookmarked, but I lost it.

Yup, that's the one! I knew I could count on you guys!
Series 2 has hit nothing but home runs.
I agree… every recent scultures I've purchased has blown me away, but it's mostly been dragon ball ones (Roshi, Goku drinking, android 18). The paint isn't the best but for the price it's more than a steal. I am definitely getting Brook, Nightmare Luffy, Cindry, and Law (among a slew of the new DB ones). Debating picking up Hody, BB, Perona when I purchase Croc.
Q> is WCF Mega Shogun great? I only collect GLM lines, so it will not fit but I saw one for I think less than $15, so it's a good price but like I said, it will not fit in my collection heh. Thanks!
Now I'm thinking of collecting Shogun figures lol
