@RobbyBevard:
Six total. Couple newer members, couple older members.
I've seen Nolus, Print, Supernova, Robzilla and Purple Hermit. Who's the last one?

Green_vs_Red would be your sixth one.
My reaction should have been on tape, it was priceless.
Neat little bonus if they got nominated for something too, eh?
We actually added the seniors now as opposed to waiting (it hasn't been as long as usual since the previous round) to avoid being influenced, or seeming to be influenced, by the award outcomes.

Ah, I get what you mean. Some people would think the mods are using the award results as a platform to give out stars.
You know what, I'm fine with this. It's all good. It's all good, AP forums.
Are we from 2012 so bad persons?:ninja:

…Wait, people qualify to be seniors, even if they've been banned? I don't remember what his account name was or what he did, but taboo's remark on his channel confirms that it definitely happened at some point.
"Edit": Of course, there's Zephos, but this site pretty much revolved around him for years.
Man, I've been banned too. For less than an hour, yes, but it was a very serious ban nonetheless. So, yes, they do.
And in all honesty, the site has never "revolved around" Zephos. He's been very vocal and very active in the past, much more so than he is these days, but he wasn't ever at the very epicenter of everything that was going on. That's a myth. His presence was just widely seen advantageous and somewhat entertaining, so his tenacity and willingness to stay as a long-time member despite his several bans became tolerated and eventually respected.
My name appears to be under attack by a small star-like object. Username defence squads have been mobilised.
XD
Yeah, I get the reasoning about the awards timing, keeping the two separate. The two reflect slightly different traits too. I'm honoured, thank you guys :)

I see him kind of like Doflamingo. He's a fan favorite, but not the main character.

Congrats, Elle! I should really get that PrintShip DeathNote fanfiction up sometime~
Hell, I was banned for a week once. After the Moria/Aphelandra match. (though I was at comicon at the time so I didn't notice.) And Kitsune Inferno has been banned like three times.
Old bans from years ago, while a consideration, aren't a factor if the member is in current good standing/has fixed their old problems. Especially not if they were banned as April Fools jokes.
Well, the April Fools jokes are a whole different thing. Those aren't really official bans as much as they look like ones when they're not meant as punishment for anything.
Kitsune and I got banned for the silly Arlong Park revolution thing back in the day without even realizing that what we did was actually pretty offensive and questionable in the eyes of the entire modding team, which I still can't help but shake my head at in shame. That's right up there among the funniest and stupidest things I've ever been a part of. The sheer absurdity of it all was incredible. :P

Torn between whether to prod for more details or leave well alone…
Oh, lol, it was nothing big really. Sea and a bunch of other guys just started joking about having a revolution on the forums to "overthrow the tyranny of the moderators" and whatnot and then created a silly revolutionary faction that people could join for a cool revolutionary name and get their portraits drawn by Sea, who at the time was practicing drawing faces of different proportions and emotional states.
Then we probably started talking a bit too seriously about the whole thing, even though it was always meant to be a joke because everyone knew a revolution of any sort was totally unwanted and simply could not be possible anyway, so someone made a banner for everyone in the group to wear on their sigs. It was really cool; it had the Arlong Park building in the middle and two matchlocks firing over it. But the bad thing no one realized was that it also had two tattooed fists giving fingers as per the revolutionary style and the text "Arlong Park Revolutionary Army" on it, which all the mods agreed was way too much. And at that point Robby just banned us all because we went too far with it.
Everyone pretty much panicked at that point and flooded the guys with apologies and changed the fists on the sigs to a fingerless version, but no one wanted any real trouble for anyone so it just died out soon after that. And left a whole bunch of scarred posters behind. Almost all of which later became senior members.
Need some scars to be considered a senior IMO.
Zephos was however at the center of a much beloved, and unifying forum ritual.
It was called ban Zephos repeatedly and wait for someone new to begin to sound like him.
We, the folks of old, belived this sacrifice was symbolic of rebirth or some other bullshit
Need some scars to be considered a senior IMO.
Pretty much. It helps to keep people in line. Some nights I still wonder whether I should send Robby another slightly longer message just in case the ghosts of odd things past still haunt these parts.

Just all goes to show that you fight the establishment, then you become part of the establishment. Or something.

You'll win eventually. The silly saying "good guys finish last" really holds true in that sense.

"Eventually" might come sooner than you think~ :3
That quote does sound like a mistranslated kama sutra text.
All good men finish last in bed. There's probably a Finnish joke to made somewhere too
I certainly hope so. I was referring to more than just relationship affairs, though.
You know, there's the entire culture-wide acceptance of LGBT people and being a heroine thing, for instance. And of course AP. But those two don't really compare. :P

Not really. We're jocularly known as the "fastest people in the world" at least domestically for all the good F1 drivers we've produced over the years.

Given the context, I'm sure we will all promptly forget the actual reason behind this. I'll help by quoting it without the context.
Oh, I know, I was merely pointing out that the joke wolf was suggesting would not work because the already existing joke is actually completely contrary.
Funnily enough, one of the TV ads where that slogan was shown actually had a half-naked man chasing after her half-naked wife into what was hinted to be their bedroom with the man walking out of there about fifteen seconds later, looking very satisfied. We're very good at self-deprecation.

Yeah GvR ban was an April fools thing
Wh'os zephos???
Yeah GvR ban was an April fools thing
Am I just imagining things then? Because I could have sworn he was one of those Lobster Pot Sticker or Phenomenyl(sp?) type accounts from back in the day, that came back under a new name.
Wh'os zephos???
Wut.
The one in question happened in 2011, which was waaay after all that drama died down
Remember the pact of death Zephos had going against Aohige? That was something. And even that was way after the real deal had died down.
who is this zepohs you guys keep taking abot?!??
tupac's ghost .
implying that Tupac ever died
Show me the body.
Who is tupac, someones uncle? RIP tupcac, rip zepos
he's scarecrow funk

I'm seriously in tears laughing right now
I will never forget that

What did I do? :ninja: I also take it your misspelling was deliberate…?
People got starred? Cool. You'd think there would be a "promotions thread" in the Announcements Section to announce this. I feel like I'm living under a rock.
i never realized how many seniors have gotten banned before
Also, Toradryish, since I like both options, I kinda decided how to weigh in on your fate with a flip of a coin, I hope you don't mind.

It's how I make all my life decisions, except instead of a coin I play it with a 20 sided die. So far, I'm going to be a level 45 drunk with affinity for baskets living in Mozambique.

Sander's real life name: Harvey Dent.

I sort of don't want a big deal made of it though? It's not like we suddenly get to lord it over you guys.
