I don't think anyone at the coliseum have seen him fight. It may/can be Diamante.

He was only called a "Hero". I thought he manages it. Doffy said "the coliseum is doing well because of you" and he replied don't treat me like a hero. I think he's "fighting" now because of the price at stake. Also, one of the dwarves said his squad have 100% win rate at the coliseum.

Yeah, I was surprised that Oda didn't adress that, considering it's in his freaking moniker! (On CCC's version, it's the "made up massacre adventurer", but it's basically the same anyways).

Although mildly, he did adress Suleiman's "war criminal" status, and how he defended himself of those claims. A few lines would suffice. But Orlumbus, even though he had a "block intro" panel, didn't have that bit about him even adressed.

Well, guess that means we'll either have some background on him after D-Block, or we'll go back in time and Gatz or someone will add some info on him. Exposition time.

That has nothing to do with who won Block D (it was Meadows, bunch of unbelievers!), but it's somewhat relevant.

I like that Oda has done this with the end of block D where I can't make myself rule out the seemingly minor characters from being the winners. Previously I thought it'd be Cavendish because he's an important character that's not Rebecca (who we all "get the point of in the story" now and needs no further involvement in the tournament), but now it could be.. Meadows..

A lot of them seem interesting. I think it should be another cocky bad guy though because we already have 2 good guy victors.

A cocky bad guy makes sense yet we know nothing about Meadows. All we know is that he wears a cheetah mask. Everybody says that he is working for Kaidou but what if he is working for the marines? Remember when Garp was wearing the dog mask? My guess is that Meadows is a high-ranked marine like Garp and is the winner of Block D.

a marine would balance out the rest being pirates and a revolutionary. Oda does like to keep the story fresh so that it doesn't get cocky.

However, he decided to abondon Merry since enemy ships were getting stronger.

That island is already about to literally explode with so many factions together…There is just no way for Doflamingo or the Marines to win now that we know the Revolutionaries are involved.

Someone is getting up meaning he was on the ground. Rebecca was on the ground. People are betting that person is Rebecca since chapter focus on her and soldier-san…seems legit.

Ok… everyone saying Meads or Rebecca, but noone talking about Cavendish (yeah some of you mentioned him, but look at the poll, he got only 7%). I know that nothing indicates he did anything, buuuuut, he was portrayed to be somewhere about level of Don (maybe higher we don't know), and Rebecca was pictured as pretty weak, owned easily by Luffy who didn't even try (ok she didn't try too much either, but still), bullyed by other contestants, and taking her time with fodders, panting etc. So it really is hard for me to believe that she suddenly awakend such power when she could own everyone and pass out. Ok i can take it that she got some skills and could own tons of fodder, fine. But own fodders + some mentioned gladiators who werent push overs and freaking cavendish who was shown to be quite strong? I can't believe it, and for now it seems really weird/bad that he's out.... unless we get really good explanation next chapter..

But I also doubt he has attack like that (destroy everyone and pass out for a moment). So the only thing that makes sense to me is that they got haxed somehow, just like sleeping gas etc. Or they are owned by someone incdredible strong. But even then, for someone to destroy Don level of fighter and others so effortlesly in an instant would take what... Admiral or Younkou? That seems unlikely too..

So all in all I don't know what happened, but im hoping that Cavendish is standing up in the end, because after all the hype he got it would really be anti-climatic for him to lose so easily...

That was Kanjuro. The unnamed third samurai never washed up on Dressrosa. I imagine he went on to Zou or back to Wa no Kuni and we will meet him once Dressrosa is done.
