Chapter 51 is out: http://manga.redhawkscans.com/reader/read/nanatsu_no_taizai/en/0/51/page/1
Meliodas is such a nice guy.
Also, Baaaaaaaaaan!
After reading Kongou Banchou and now Seven Deadly Sins I've noticed something… Nakaba writes characters really well. They're good on a ton of levels.
Good chapter, even if not that much happened this time round.
Did he just…. with a twig?Wow.
Here is my review for chapter 51
sorry for the stuttering in the vid.Starting october 30th crunchyroll is gonna start releasing chapters of 12 different kodansha titles on the same day as japan. SDS is one of them.^^ http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2013/10/26/crunchyroll-to-digitally-distribute-kodansha-manga
I wouldn't be surprised if Gowther=Armando.:ninja:
Sin of Lust being male (and a goat)
I did not see that coming.
You'd figure the Sin of Lust would be female and a cat or a snake or something. Nice to see the author writing against expectations. Wouldn't it be funny if he's a big brute of a guy who acts like a seductress? Never seen that before.
Good chapter but obviously we'll have to wait to see how this develops.
I wouldn't be surprised if Gowther=Armando.:ninja:
Yes, the armor giant is probably related to him too. A pet animal, or some kind of split personality like Jekyll and Hyde.

or maybe a robot built by him.
Don't really see the connection between Armando and the armored giant. Still believe that the latter is actually a giant in armor with an unusual personality maybe (like his name and animal theme suggest).
I hope that Lord Dawn Roar doesn't end up being a mere fodder knight, as it would be a shame to waste such a name.
It would be nice if the sin of lust ended up being a handsome casanova, it would be fitting.
Or, even better, a big man all fat and no muscles who learned how to seduce women based on wit instead of looks.
But we already have a guy with no muscles in King.
And that means we can't have a second one why exactly?

he also draws nice landscapes. that shot of the fields and the windmills in the new chapter, I liked it a lot.
I can't really say it's "god-like", but it's just very pleasing to the eye and fits with the medeival-fantasy theme very well.
And that means we can't have a second one why exactly?
I feel like the X party member is physically weak as hell well of jokes works best when there's just one person.
This chapter reminds me Wagomu for some reason.:ninja:
I've posted a few things about Nanatsu no Tazai already, but then I decided to make a Top 10 Badass moments in Nanatsu no Taziai list, just because there are so many good moments, and its just over 50 chapters. You guys can check it out here: Click Where a few friends and I post manga/anime related articles.
Reading the list and reminiscing the scenes was fun. Although I think that for no. 4, Elizabeth rings a bell, just a little more detail could be given on how exactly Elizabeth got the bell
'In one last attack' can be ambiguous about whether she's giving or receiving the attack.
Not the scene where King stabs Ban ? I think it is one of the coolest image of the manga so far.

Is that really the author? I thought oda was the only one who did backgrounds, the crazy workaholic. Most of the time the assistants do backgrounds.

Which one? The one who petrifies or the one who hit Geera?
Calling it Gowther is a ghost bound to the armor… fullalchemist style!
Nah in all seriousness I can't wait to see what he/she/it could be. Seeing how the sins have been extremely varied I'm going to say that he/she/it at least won't be human.
Gowther's probably a Dwarf. We have giants and Fairies, and I think there's been an Elf or two, so we have yet to see a Dwarf. I don't think he's a soul bound to the armor Alphonse Elric style, but he could be locked in the armor or it could be fused to his flesh, like Destro, only full body. May have to do with his Sin.

No that applies to Oda too, Oda's assistants draw the backgrounds, and Oda draws "anything that moves" so things like people, animals, smoke, seas etc. (He said it in Volume 52's SBS).

Ah, that's true, I'll consider giving more detail in the future! Thanks!

Ah, that was totally a badass moment, and I loved it. But there are just SO MANY that it's hard to pick just ten!

Meet Gowther, the biggest Dwarf that ever was. Dude the guy is almost as tall as Diane. You need to pay more attention I've seen you make these assumption that are already disproven by the manga itself on several other series already. No offense or anything but paying more attention wouldn't hurt you.

xD
Heck we even got in this newest chapter a pretty good silhouette of Gowther pretty much towering over the holy knights send against him.
But hey if that armor is a robot which harbors a dwarf within you're free to make me eat crow :D.
And if it wasn't clear the ghost comment was a joke. I followed it up with "Nah in all seriousness…" which I think is a pretty good indicator for it being a joke. But then sorry if that wasn't clear.
I was also surprised that Gowther is the Sin Of Lust,That would mean the second female sin member is either Pride or Gluttony

My bad, I should have looked closer at how massive he was. Although the Dwarf in a robotic suit would be cool, I'm not so sure now. Maybe a Mountain Troll or an Ogre?

I really wonder how widespread this actually is. according to some reports, the "author" just kinda draws some scribbles, while the editor comes up with the story and the assistants draw and ink everything. but I'd like to believe that the main credited Author is the one with the creative control and artistic direction.
So with this chapter we've narrowed the traitor down to either Merlin or Escanor, so it's probably Escanor. He's older, less interesting, male, and appears to use a spear, all of which makes him in my estimation easy pickings for being the traitor.

Escanor's portrait in chapter 1 looks very similar to Hellbram. Minus the eyepatch, of course.
Bet Merlin will be Gluttony.

Thanks for the heads up.
! I really like the pace of this manga, a lot happens in just about every chapter. It was cool to see a new team of Holy Knights, I like all of their designs. And that was an interesting way to end the chapter. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.
One thing that cant be said enough is how many of the knights (and characters in general) designs are interesting. Even when they may not have a lot of use beyond two episodes a lot of care is put into make them unique.
You saved Armando, then became a annoying brat. Now he is dead because he had to save you, good job. :ninja:
Armando is probably the real Gowther but yes, the kid is insufferable.
Yeah I think I'm joining the club that the armor is the sacred relic and Armando being the wielder.
Super suspicious him turning up wounded, we're just missing the confirmation that he turned up around the same time the mountain god(Gowther) appeared.
Also there is this panel showing Gowther not even having eyes in contrast to the roar down guy with the metal mask.
http://manga.redhawkscans.com/reader/read/nanatsu_no_taizai/en/0/53/page/15
So the armor being hollow seems likely.
Unless Gowther is actually controlling the Armored giant and it being a robot, there's no way he's Armando.
Even so they could've recognized each other, or atleast Meliodas would know Aramndo is Gowther.
I gave one of the pages a quick coloring:
Loved the chapter. Guess we'll have to wait and see about the Gowther/Armando thing.
