I mean you're on the right track, but if you're going to go down that road, then you really might as well ask the real question, which is who cares about anyone at all in this manga aside from the Wano samurai. I'd rather not trust you on that. Zoro begging? Do you not remember the end of Thriller Bark? And where has this Wano Sensei come from? You can't just make characters up in your head before we get any hint of them. Sanji is boring to you, but not to a lot of others, so you can't critisize the manga for such a self preference. Sanji has had plenty of development, now it's mainly about him powering up and finding All Blue. What do you want from him? I know his out-of-control lust is annoying, but he usually makes up for it with some cool moments. Either way him meeting Violet gives him an individual story which will give him some development.
I dont know why everyone found Sanji part annoying since i think it was so funny also when Violet said whats all this blood then Sanji said Nothing at all like Zoros thing was so funny lol . Sanji was the star of this chapter if we go by who was the most funny , well some people may prefer zoro bleeding in battles . I also dont know why everyone is making a big deal about Sanjis weaknes of women after he came from kamabakka , i was once a soldier and we sometimes could only go out once a month so i somehow can understand Sanjis pyscology . People who never had any hard time in their lives find Sanji annoying while people like me who actually went through harsh times can understand him well .

It's just a toy. A background character of the wacky world of Dressrosa. Was it even named? What are its dreams? Its backstory?
Potential crewmates need more to be just "crazy and badass", they need substance.
LOL. i even read a list why sanji should have the fire fruit and half of them will be used for gags. gags are cool…but i doubt something important like ace's fruit will be used on a character (who accompanies the protagonist) for gags half of the time.
ace's fruit is deserving to go to someone who would likely be in the tailend of the series and in the final major battles involving luffy (since he is the main protagonist) and at the same time fulfill the criterias in terms of importance and strength.
++++im getting too caught up in the mera debate, ill just give a quick observation on the chapter:
franky is the only one who got nowhere to go to from the "destroy lab team"...so what would he do? coach luffy? coz im thinking he goes straight to looking for the laboratory.
and doflamingo is not in the colleseum, so he went to green bit to anticipate law's team? if that's the case, we might actually see franky's laser (and vegapunk's technology) brought up.
get my drift? doflamingo anticipating law and likely taking back ceasar and franky wandering all alone in dressrosa? just an idea i'd like to throw.

i wouldnt have a problem with it. toy soldier = adds more diversity and craziness to the crew.
though i need to see some more criteria from him (dream, tragic past, etc.)

Ranykyaku is no good for Sanji because its a cutting atack but Sanji isnt a swordmen with your logic he can be a swordsmen but cant be a logia , Sanji also cant use Okama Kempou since that would be bethraying Zeffs red leg style so with your logic as long as he uses his legs he can just abandon zeffs style plus okamas use thier hands .
As you see your offers ruin Sanjis style but since a logia just turns user to an element nothing changes about him except getting extra powers , smoker with tashigis body still used his jutte effectively so even if Sanji turns to fire he can still use his legs same way just remember how smoker boost his fists Sanji can also do the same thing .

WFT!:blink: Just how long have you've been reading OP? Zoro does not beg for his life - never. The only time he's begged at all is begging Mihawk for training - that was not for his own sake but to get strong to support Luffy. I do not doubt that there are some swordsmen in the new world that will give Zoro trouble, eventually we will see there will be a few that will push him to his limits and a few that are near Mihawk's level. But even then Zoro does not beg for his life. That would be as if Sanji punching a pretty woman in the face - it goes against the personality Oda has shown for the characters.

I like all the SHs but if I ranked them as who I like most, Sanji is the bottom most for me. However I know he does have a place one the crew and he is not worthless. Why any fan of the crew thinks any member is worthless … really I don't understand them. Its like some (though I know not all, a lot haters do) think "Well I don't like this part of the character, so that means I will look to see what else character can do. I'm confused why dose it seem that the majority of people here have such a hard-on for sanji getting this fruit? and that whole him already using fire argument seems rather silly when you rember his devil leg kick course comes from his burning passion not literal pyrokinesis or something. and if he did eat the fruit wouldn't that make his whole 'I can augment my kicks with fire' seem redundant as then his uniqueness and training and him defeating wolf guy with said flaming kicks back at enies lobby become wasted and pointless as that whole arc was meant to show the crews limits at the time. eating a fruit that would turn him into living fire would make it seem as if that fight were nothing more then a throw away joke and every fight where he used that technique because it was all leading up to him becoming a fire-man in the new world on some island of passion and romance where living toys coexist with people….
