Isn't it ironic that Law wants to throw the New World into lawlessness? XD
Yeah, Law is screwing the law.

@Foxy:
In the Punk Hazard arc, Oda reached new heights by showing us that a slash from Tashigi does much more damage than a Haki Hardened Gear Three punch from Luffy and having someone who is garbage fodder to Zoro stop dead a Hardened Gear Two Gatling Gun.
I'm not one to bash Oda, but this is getting ridiculous, first Hyouzou, and now Monet.
Just how much more can he degrade the significance and power of Luffy's attacks, preferably in order to create fake hype for some random crappy-ass antagonist soon to be revealed as fodder? Place your bets now; the next arc is nearly upon us.
When did Luffy use Elephant Gun against Monet?

Probably talking about the pathetic slash of tashigi to Monet in chapter 687 aka beast.
Probably talking about the pathetic slash of tashigi to Monet in chapter 687 aka beast.
But Luffy never used gear 3 on Monet, every livingthing that Luffy has hit with his gear 3 haki was knocked out immediately, and on Punkhazard CC is the only one Luffy used gear 3 haki on and he passed out… So what's he talking about? Lol I'm lost.
Zoro might be strong, but he`s no way as fast as Luffy.
Luffy was able to dodge even Mihawks attacks pre timeskip.
@Prince:
Here's a random theory I just thought up.
The big reveal for chapter 700 will be Law telling Doflamingo he actually going after Kiado and planning to take his place as Yonko.
Doflamingo can either stay loyal to Kiado, lose Ceasar Clown, and have Kiado kill him, or he can partner up with Law, get Ceasar Clown back (who Law can kill at any time thanks to keeping his heart), help take Kiado down from inside the organization, help Law take over his territory once he's defeated, and keep a Yonko as an ally.
doflamingo already went against the WG by leaving the shichibukai,nd all of that to avoid a battle with a yonkou…it wouldn't make sense for him now to go against an emperor voluntarily

Stop making shit up, Foxy.

He's probably referring to Luffy's hardened Gear 3rd punch on this page http://www.batoto.net/read/_/142851/one-piece_ch689_by_mangarule/10 which only knicked Caesar…

First off, Luffy never used a gear third attack.
Second, he never ever actually fought Monet. He broke her wall then escaped when she tried to freeze him.
I think Bonney's DF has to do with transfer or take or add, like: She's able to take years of age from a person(turning that person into a kid, depending how many years she took from that person), then she can transfer it to another person(which will make that person old, depending on how many years she adds to that person age, and this will make the person get older or become an old man). This will explain why we saw both equal numbers of Kids and Old men.
! If you count the number of oldies there and kids there you see they are equal.
Edit: well it's more clearly shown in manga: http://www.mangapanda.com/103-2614-17/one-piece/chapter-507.html
anyone think that Captain Yorke from the Rumba Pirates (Brook's old crew) is related to the On Air Pirates??

That is an interesting theory but when she saved Zoro it didn't seem like she 'took' any years from anyone there nor did she 'give' the years back when she transformed back into an adult. Though im guessing you're going to argue that happened off-screen? I think you're reading too much into the whole equal numbers thing, I saw it more as a showcasing of her ability to change people's age either way (old/young).
Cool theory though.

well my theory is how she manipulates other people's age, but for herself she can manipulate her own age at will without needing to take nothing or add anything.
not sure if this was already brought up but I thought people would enjoy it. Original post from Sub94 on reddit.
IDK but the part about blackbeard is interesting

The Sanji den-den mushi just blew my freaking mind. Oda is an evil genius.
Also, I feel like he's right about the image Eneru found showcasing all three weapons.
Smart stuff there.
not sure anyone brought this up, most likely but…
vegapunk is a revolutionary working along with kuma working on the inside of the WG for Dragon.

Does anybody think that Vegapunk has something to do with Kaidō?
They both use numbered cyborgs,
and the tradition was apparently passed down from Kaidō to Moria in the form of zombies.
Also, Kaidō is currently using a derivative of Vegapunk's DF technology to buff his soldiers.

when you say something do u mean they are working together? if so i honestly dont think so.
the numbering of cyborgs is just an engineers way of naming there product. franky does the same with his Battle franky's. same with moria, zombie 1-800 etc.
kaido gains the DF from DD who's employee is CC who got the knowledge from vegapunk… seems a round about way to get his tech if u ask him.
if u meant something as something else then idk. i havent seen any info that could relate them that wasnt something else.
for instance, the reason i think vegapunk is working with the revo is because of kuma. the fact that kuma was out of commission for 2 years protecting the strawhats ship screams something secretive to me, especially since vegapunk was the one to program him to do so.

I didn't get that one. Hasn't Sanji always had swirly eyebrows? Or was the picture pointing out something else?
But yeah, those were some fascinating ideas and details.

That den-den mushi is from little Alabasta. Showing both of his eyebrows. Hundreds of chapters before we got the reveal. Oda gave us the one of the series' biggest mysteries but no one ever figured it out.
So now that Punk Hazard is basically over, does anyone have a proper theory on who threw Chopper that note mid-arc? Or should I just forget about it?!

We shall never speak of this again. For Oda's sake.

Thought it was supposed to have been Law?
Wait a minute, how did Law know that the bad guys would tie him up with those exact chains?
Am I just missing something?
Oops. Mistakenly deleted my last posts trying to merge them.
Anyway, like I previously said, the scene was too random to begin with. I thought it would lead to there being a double agent within Caesar's camp. Also, I don't know about it being Law, could he use his DF power like that!?

except that page loads like a bitch…
Wait a minute, how did Law know that the bad guys would tie him up with those exact chains?

Law said that he had kept some normal chains around and switched it. Though, I don't get how he would have created the room and switched those without anyone noticing.
Kinemon actually was a part of Moriah's old crew, though latter didn't even know he survived.
After being defeated by Kaido the reason why Kinemon was so shocked about him being mentioned) Moriah went to Wano to get Ryuma's corpse, seeing how he heard about the samurai from his old friend.
Though Doflamingo actually said that Moriah escaped him after the war, in reality he took him with him to Dressrosa, where he now has to work for him.
Rumors spread all the way to Wano, where Kinemon heard about it and started his travel to save his old captain.
This kind of does/does not make sense imho. :D
This meant to be here-
What if Law wants to lure out Kaido with CC? Like now the world including Kaido had seen the news of Dofla leaving the shichibukia and quitting as a king, then Law can convince Kaido that he has CC that they should trade, Law will tell Kaido he doesn't need any middle man(DD) now he can have CC who will produce SAD and SMILES for him, it will be a win win for Kaido. But when Kaido agrees to meet law it will be then they attack him.

Serious question.
Who is really aware of the joker's real identity, I don't think that kaidou is knows of it for one, or how he uses CC to make the devil fruits.
Law's plan was to take down kaidou not DD, so I pressume kidnapping ceasar would just stop kaidou from getting the devil fruits only, not unleash his wrath on dofla, who I pressume is more than capable of standing up to a yonkou crew.
Maybe there will be a smoker side story where he goes on a journey to take down DD with his crew.

the walls of the lab have kept hidden the "room".

kaidou knows who joker is for sure, otherwise doflamingo would have nothing to fear from him.
and anyway, counting that doflamingo agreed to leave the shichibukai just to avoid troubles with kaidou,i doubt he is "more than capable" to stand against him
This is probably a popular theory and is no way my own, I read parts of it in different places so I can't give credit where its due.
Anyways,
-Doflamingo has basically been plotting to take down the yonkou for the past 10 years
-he has been poisoning whitebeard slowly over time
! http://i.imgur.com/Z7TZ2EG.jpg the IV bags seem to have doflamingo's jolly roger upside down and without the slash.
-he has also been poisoning big mom via her candies and caesar's help. Oda rarely tends to waste dialogue/story subplots and tends to make them appear later, in this case, we can see that caesar has been experimenting gigantification on the kids, and in doing so has laced the candies with addictive subtances causing the kids to want more of it. With doflamingo's influence I'd say that it would be quite easy for him to have some of his subordinates infiltrate different candy factories.
-This one is a huge stretch regarding blackbeard; I read this one on a thread on 4chan so credit goes to anon. Doflamingo somehow got word of blackbeard obtaining the yami-yami no mi, and so he has Lafitte go undercover as one of blackbeards crewmates to keep tabs on him. The only support for this is that lafitte was a double agent for the spanish - by infiltrating and exposing the mexicans. Further support of this would be doflamingo's name, donquixote which is based off of famous spanish fiction. Even further, a member of APforums noted that Dressrosa seemed to have spanish architecture so this certainly would tie in.
-Doflamingo has also been providing kaidou with smiles - I'm thinking that he is trying to set up an event such that kaidou gets into a conflict with the marines, basically resulting in more chaos and thus more opportunity for doflamingo to spread his influence and become the pirate king. (a tidbit from the volume intro's says that doflamingo believes "power" is everything)
-Doflamingo is based off an insane dreamer, and in one piece one could say he's insane as well for trying to concoct the 'gears' to throw his opponents against one another - just like law once said "it's better if the pirates take one another out" - this could be a subtle reference to doflamingo's ideology being echoed by law's words and intentions.
To be honest…
I could see Doflamingo have something in the Smile DFs that allows him to mind control those who have consumed them.
There's still the mystery of WHY Momo had that weird hallucination of Doflamingo when in his Smile Fruit form; when Luffy and him were trapped in the garbage room.
@The:

I think part of that mystery got answered when Kin and Momo both reacted to the news about DD. They seem to have already encountered him before.
Don't think Kaido would be too happy about that he finds out.
I'd actually like to see that too. THen we'd get the subject of mind control being implemented into the story
I mentioned this in the chapter discussion thread, but it could go here. It's not a theory, but more of an observation.
Usopp's post-timeskip outfit mimics the Elbaf Giants.
You know subconsciously I think I knew that! Nice catch!
this is support theory of kind of a few other people have already posted most of it but twith chapter 700 stuff , fujitora(admiral!?) bit of a stretch but purple tiger…purple cat....CHESHIRE CAT + doFLAMINGOs CARD SUITS+ BIG mam -TEA PARTY follow the rabbit hole to the madness that is the NEW WORLD
The guy on the "Spade seat" is Don Krieg.
!
I came up with a theory that I've been making for quite a bit now,and after chapter 700 it seems kinda logical.
What if Luffy owns the same power as Roger? And I am not talking about the haki,I am talking about the fruit. We all know that Luffy ate the fruit from that small chest that Shanks and his crew had.We also know that Roger and his crew had lots and lots of adventures and experiences and it's nearly sure they learned everything about DFs and ways to preserve them in their adventures. So that day on the plaza where Roger was about to die,Shanks held a little fruit with him. After the execution he left and held the fruit with him up to the day when Luffy ate it.I mean think about it:Why Shanks would freak out so much when Luffy ate the fruit? Why the crew had a notebook with the fruit drawn on it?And why Shanks trusted Luffy with the hat?Only becuase Luffy talked exactly like Roger?I am pretty sure it's more than that.People say that Luffy is like Roger, maybe they fight the same way.
That's my little theory. Please tell me what you think.

I think that fatman in Shank's crew said something like "The DF that we took from enemies ship is gone!!" to Shanks, mean they got it from enemies ship, not carried it from the beginning.
Here is the pic

I guess you are right and you have proof. It would be stupid on my part to say that it was really early in the story and Oda wasn't sure at the time how the story would evolve,so yea.I wave goodbye to my decent-in-my-head theory.
Alright, im new here and im sorry if this is the wrong thread but it is a theory. The phone snails or transponders snails or whatever, i have a theory that oda was insipired to create these due to a frenchman who was convinced that after a male and female snail mated, they could communicate telepathically. to test this theory he glued 24 male snales on a sort of dish and 24 females on other dishes. He sent the males to new york and kept the females in France. And he basically thought that if he wiggled the snails in new york the mate of that snail would wiggle just the same. He called it the passic lalinic sympathetic compass, using escargothic vibration. He actually got someone to fund this. And of course it didn't work. I duno if its just oda's fantasy or he heard of this guy, that make him end up on transponder snail. Just something to think about :)
EDIT: sry found the other thread, but hey its still kewl
