Finally things start getting interesting again. Nice to see as bad ass as Dofla was portrayed he got put in to one bind to the next, can't vent his frustrations cuz Aokiji shows up and in the end he's forced to give up his warlord spot and thrown to a kingdom. I'll assume he might set up a puppet king so he can rule from the shadows but going through all that shows how scared he is of Kaidou.

Only one chapter before the big 700. Nice medieval-themed colorspread, Oda!
Okay, first off, we jump to Aokiji's arrival. He warns Dofla to stop, but like he'll listen. Maybe it's because the same thing happened to Luffy, Robin, and Saul, but when I saw Doflamingo break out of his ice like nobody's business, I was impressed.
Eventually Dofla leaves with Baby 5 and Buffalo (guess he has bigger fish to fry?) while Aokiji treats Smoker. Good to see he's still the same serious-then-forgetful type, and now I'm curious to see his alignment, or what he's been up to.
Then we get….Straw Hat hijinxs! A staple between arcs. Kinemon mistakes Zoro as Ryuuma, Usopp and Chopper stay up all night in fear of Doflamingo, Sanji/Kinemon/Brook all get jealous of Momo bathing with Robin (his face was priceless). Just a wacky, fun, time.
But then......the newspaper comes out, and it seems Dofla has bowed to Law's demands and resigned. But at the same time, the world knows of not only Luffy and Law's new alliance, but that of Hawkins, Apoo, and Kid. Things are going to heat up!
What I'm hoping for next chapter is an insight at the Marine HQ. We saw Aokiji, now what's Akainu's take on all this?
He didn't mistake Zoro for Ryuuma he's accusing Zoro of robbing Ryuuma's grave.

I've been thinking about this for a while, but what exactly are the benefits of giving Caesar back to Doflamingo?
If they give CC back, then Doflamingo will still probably be pissed off at them, and will soon be back to making artificial DF's to strengthen Kaido's army, who is the Yonkou that they are currently trying to take down.
If they don't give CC back, then Doflamingo is even more screwed, with the wrath of Kaido on him as well. This could potentially take him out rather than become a rival to the Straw-Law alliance. Kaido's wrath may turn on Straw-Law, but his forces will no longer be getting upgrades, and they're planning on taking him on in the future anyways.

I am pretty sure they mentioned that Whitebeard couldn't be frozen because of his DF. Which makes me wonder if Aokiji went easy on him because he thinks that taking out Dofla may lead to a bad chain of events

I don't really see Law giving CC back. He will probably stay true to his word though he looks like a man with morals however he also looks like a man with no morals. He seems 50/50 at all times lol.

If Law doesn't give back Clown then Doflamingo is screwed. He will have Kaido and the Admirals on his ass. Personally I hope to see this. Maybe Law will force DD to work with them to take down Kaido.
He could be using the admirals as well to somehow weaken Kaido in their hunt for DD.
I also wonder what Aokiji ment with that DD can pose a great threat to navy HQ sakazuki wants. Maybe the underworld supplies items Sakazuki needs like what Caesar said with the SAD. Stuff that could be essential to Sakazuki's tactics.

The idea of Kuzan not being able to completely freeze someone without a physical contact sounds good, but he didn't actually touch Whitebeard. Also, every case other than WB's has been an "ice coating". When he froze Luffy and Robin they were apparently frozen solid considering he could've broken them into pieces. But the ice was adapting their shape. Whitebeard was inside an ice block. I don't know what the difference between these two is, but apparently you can break out of both. The latter might require special DF powers though. If Luffy and Robin had had the defensive haki back in the days they could've blocked the ice coating like Doflamingo did and easily break out of it. At least that's how I think it works.
Based on these speculations I think the one used on Whitebeard is harder to break out of. Might be that it's not even possible unless you have the earthquake powers. I really don't know how freezing a person makes any sense though. The way Luffy and Robin were frozen makes it seem like their bodies turned into ice, but after the ice melted their bodies turned into flesh and bones again. Then there's people trapped inside ice, like Whitebeard or the level 6 prisoners in Punk Hazard (don't take that last part too seriously, it's just a speculation). When trapped inside ice your body remains normal, you just can't move or break out of it very easily.
It would kinda make sense if the ice block thingy was his ranged attack, but then again he didn't touch Doflamingo, yet he looked like Saul, Robin and Luffy did after Kuzan froze them through physical contact. Perhaps he's able to use the coating trick only on people that can't block it with haki, therefore Doflamingo was able to break out of it and he didn't use it on Whitebeard because he'd never get frozen because of his immense CoA.

I thought Doflamingo didn't freeze up was because his heart wasn't frozen, so he reacted quickly??

And you know what? Those News Coos seem to find everyone everywhere, with something like that the Marines shouldn't have any trouble finding pirates on the seas :DToo bad they can't lol
I think the News Coo are like the Post Owls in Harry Potter-verse, they deliver the mail -letters and newspaper. They have some means of finding the people but there is some sort of check in place to prevent them from being used to trace down people.
If you allow me to compare the News Coo and Post Owls= In HP, the owls have some sort of magic that (suppose to) prevents mail tampering, its assumed this also includes placing a trace on the owls, and is why ministry never sent an owl to Sirius and followed the owl to Sirius. Whatever allows the News Coo to deliver the newspapers to the subscriber may work in a similar manner.
