I dont necessarily believe there needs to be any new crewmates, not with the inevitable addition of Jinbe. I just want to see everyone develop and grow in strength. What im saying is, Robin joined the crew and she had 79 Million Berry bounty. At that point the crew thought her bounty was higher than Luffy's. They did not know about Luffy's 100 Million bounty. Someone joining the crew with a higher bounty means nothing.

It's about the argument that Jimbei having a bigger bounty than Luffy means he can't join. People were trying to related it to Robin.

blah, so because robin had a higher bounty than sanji and zoro she's stronger than them? Her devil fruit power is pretty strong don't get me wrong, but people seem to forget that Robin's bounty is based on her threat of her translating abilities, not her power.
personally i reckon the straw hats will find a new ally before a new crewmate , also by the time jinbei joins all the straw hats will have probably increased as i assume they might of taken out a yonkou by then
To be fair, Robin's bounty being supposedly higher than the captain's was the last thing anyone on the crew was worried about when she joined.

What if robin didn't have a bounty, could she still defeat Bellamy? Robin could have had a bounty higher than shanks, but luffy could still wreck her, he's made out of rubber, her power is worthless against him.

Did anyone in the crew even know she had a bounty when she joined? I thought it was only revealed in her scene with Tashigi.
Either way, it's not very important. Bounties are inherently a pretty meaningless and arbitrary system that Oda obviously doesn't correlate directly with power levels. I doubt anyone in the crew cares at all. Hell, I don't think anyone except maybe Robin actually knows that Jinbe has a higher bounty now since it was revealed to us during the plaza fight. Luffy didn't know his own bounty went up until Hody mentioned it after all.
The most we can potentially discern from it is that Jinbe probably won't join until after Luffy gets a bounty raise, but that much was obvious after Jinbe said "not right now".

It wasn't really a troll response but it wasn't meant to be serious either - Female or Male as final member doesn't bother me since I learned to not judge characters based on their appearances after Franky joined.
Well there's a few that care about the bounties. Nami didn't want a notable bounty. Luffy and Zoro were happy cause…well they are always looking for a fight. Sanji only seems to care about his image and that his is still lower than Zoro's. Chopper was devastated when his 50 was revealed. He fought like a man after all lol. Franky didn't really seem to care but it did cause him to have to leave W7. But as far as new crewmembers that join I doubt they'd care about what the bounty is. Brook didn't reveal his till after he joined. When was the last time the crew even learned about bounties without someone telling them? They don't seem to get the newspaper very often either that came along with the bounty updates. But at the rate this story is going Luffy will probably have a heigher bounty anyways.

I completely agree. Ryuuma was considered a top notch samurai from wano who slayed a dragon. The level he fought at with zoro was literally a enhanced version of Brook.

Wano Arc is Zoro's. Sure Luffy has a connection with Ace and getting the kasa hat made but it's really Zoro's theme. He has more connections to the Arc and it's Samurai Island.
