Well I can finally ressurect this thread with news that we will see some Smash bros Wii U/3DS at E3 2013.
I'm SOOOOOOOO excited for this.
it's only screenshots although i suspect we'll get the title as well. i wonder what characters and levels will be in the screenshots. The new battlefield level definatley as well as mario, kirby and link. I'm hoping for a new character at least

Unless they somehow really mess up this game (unlikely, every game Sakurai has touched that I have played feels like gold), I feel like Nintendo already won E3 for me.
I stick by my prediction of them showing off HD graphics on old characters (Link, Mario, Kirby and Pikachu, most likely … maybe Pit considering it's Sakurai), along with new character reveals and new features. I'll add to it that I imagine they'll explain the difference between 3DS and WiiU versions and how they can connect, and end it all by revealing another huge third party character. I would hope Megaman but I can see it being someone from Namco Bandai.
It also seems like Sakurai is looking into which Gen VI pokemon content he can include in this game. I must admit I fangasmed upon seeing the idea of Sakurai and the team of Pokemon X and Y sharing information. I don't know, I guess after a couple months of doubting Nintendo with stuff like NSMB2 and Paper Mario Sticker Star, within two weeks they go and show me why it is they own my childhood and my soul as a gamer. I seriously feel like my younger self right after an E3 presentation.

No no no. Just to be absolutely clear this is absolutely false. The Yoshi rumor came out before that Smash rumor. All that guy did was piggy back off of the Yoshi Land reveal from the Wii U debug mode and ran with it. There is no Debu character and there is no 3 stage Ridley. Even if Yoshi had a new buddy that guy would still be full of ship.

i was thinking a mix of the ones he uses in the game. Like a daruma, a zoroark and a klinklang. they wouldn't have to all be out at once they could just jump out of the pokeballs or just appear/disappear

In brawl they removed his speed make him hard to use properly and then also decreased his strength just a tad. He felt heavier and harder to use than the other characters

But… it did. In the last battle against him in BW he has a Zoroark.

i havn't played awakening yet but if chrom replaces ike in this then i'd rather see micaiah (or lyn:ninja: but micaiah would be more unique) being a mage and all
That depends on if Ike even gets replaced or not. Marth is the favorite Japanese Lord, and Ike is the favorite in the west. Considering how big Fire Emblem is getting around the world I wouldn't be surprised if we got Chrom or Lucina in the game as a third character.
i like ike. Ideally i wouldn't have chrom because we don't need another blue-haired, sword wielding lord but it is the latest game. I wonder if ike will get an updated look. Considering most characters get there most recent look (all the zelda characters) could Ike get his awakenign outfit or maybe his more mature radiant dawn look
Ike could easily be dropped and his moveset given to Magnus from Kid Icarus, that way they hold the tradition of the first lord (marth) and the main lord of the most recent FE game.
Personally though, I still hope and dream of either Lyn or Hector.

That game is based on biblical stuff. Apparently they tried to get it approved by Nintendo who said due to the blasphemous content they wouldn't put it on. Makes sense from Nintendo's point of view, the way people go on about biblical stuff in general would probably cause Nintendo more problems than it was worth putting the game onto the console. They might aswell accept porn games on to it.

That same thought just occurred. If they are going for a full on Super Smash album, I suspect they should do covers based on the original tracks with maybe a few covers from video game titles. If it is going to be MOSTLY covers of famous video game tracks then…yeah there's no point. This might as well be on overclocked.
In case anyone needs any more help getting hype, Nintendo recently confirmed that their upcoming Nintendo Direct (around E3 times) will contain Smash Bros.
this, combined with the other recent revelation that they'll be putting demos of their new games in Best Buys across the country, is making me very, very excited.
Not to rain on the parade, but it's best not to expect a Smash Bros. demo at this point.
If history is any indication, I expect a video/trailer highlighting returning characters and some new ones, plus an explanation of how the game will connect to the one on the 3DS. I don't expect a playable demo until later in the year, perhaps next years' E3.
Unless of course Sakurai and Namco Bandai have blitzed through this game somehow and feel like having a demo.
