I haven´t the magazine… I don´t know.

In the text quoted so far, there's no mention of the sender.

But the RPG Time idea was indeed one of our poll winners, so it was the number 1 idea in the letter I sent.

Awesome, that was one I voted for as well. Though I highly doubt AP forums was the only place to ever recommend that idea. I've got to imagine it was requested by many, many people. Do they normally acknowledge the sender of the idea? Because if we were acknowledged, that would be really awesome, especially since I'd feel like I contributed

Believe me when I say that it's going to be impossible to know for sure. I imagine CCC wasn't the ONLY one to send in that idea, and if Oda names this forum in particular he might offend anyone else who sent in the idea without receiving a call-out.

But I think CCC didn´t talk about the forum, he said "As a representative of a certain group of international One Piece fans on the internet". Anyways, in the text of first Omake page Oda will name the one how sent him the idea, we will see in 2 or 3 days ^^

Correct. Didn't want to make it seem like an advertisement.
I have no doubt that the same idea was sent by countless fans, but obviously I worded the intro in a sappy way that would hopefully catch someone's eye (someone who, for hours, had been going through piles of ideas sent by Japanese schoolchildren). Granted, odds aren't good… we'll just have to see.

My bet is Bon clay (or at least an Okama). A Queen, locked away in giant dungeon guarded by armies and monsters? Sounds like Impel down to me. It'd also mess with Sanji the most, since his whole shtick is acting like a "Knight in shining armour". He finally gets to save the damsel in distress only to find out that its not quite a damsel at all. It also frees up Nami and Robin to be a mage/thief and not push out the already lop-sided gender balance.

Also I'll bet:
Luffy-Barbarian (Fights the best when he's really mad, raw strength over skill and finesse)
Zoro-Fighter (Big guy with Sword)
Nami-Thief (Natural fit)
Usopp-Ranger (long-range weapons with a nature theme)
Sanji-Monk (Only fantasy archetype that fights without a real weapon)
Chopper-Cleric (could also be Druid given shape-shifting tendencies, and raw martial prowess)
Robin-Mage (Mostly filling a void here since Nami's closer in powers to a standard Mage, but Robin's not far off since she attacks at range with a magic-y sort of power, and it fits her personality since Mages are usually the book-smart people and historians)
Franky-Alchemist (Science, along with the closest fantasy equivalent to firearms available)
Brook-Bard (Guy who uses magical music to fight? Natural fit)

Because I'm way too lazy and indifferent to do something like this on my own. I can only take about 12.7% of the credit, for being the translating monkey and paying for the stamp.
