Did anybody else see the seen AFTER the after the credits scene? As in the SECOND after the credits seen? I think that made the movie for me!
This movie simply had no major flaws in it. The first battle involving Loki and Captain America was a great way to introduce Cap' back into this modern world after a movie of his own time. Then of course Tony comes in and steals the show. But then you have Thor who one-ups him. It seems like Joss tried to hype the movie up within-itself by having one hero out-due another heroe's actions.
I want to take a moment and say how great Mark Ruffalo was as Bruce Banner. He definitely did a better job than Edward Norton. I'm sorry, even if Norton is a great actor, Mark Ruffalo made this character much more enjoyable, in contrast to Norton who seemed very bored. Mark seemed to be having fun. When Banner was sarcastic or witty it felt very natural.
And obviously despite the whole group of awesome heroes the Hulk stole the show. He doesn't have to your favorite to admit that he simply stole the show when it came to the final battle.
Black Widow and Hawkeye were handled great. I know one of the main complaints was that in comparison to a Super Solder, a Demi-God, a monster, and a billionaire playboy philanthropist in a suit of armor, they would seem weak in comparison. Black Widow was simply the greatest secret agent. A great fighter who wasn't afraid to pull off feats that would kill her of something didn't go exactly right. Hawkeye…well let me put it this way: greatest marksman ever.
And possibly one of the best quotes from the movie
! "But he's my brother."
"Your brother killed 80 people in two days."
"…He's adopted."
