Eh, still not all too interested. It looks very similar to Smash Bros, but with health bars. Haven't watched any videos, but going by the screens it looks kind of… cheap? Maybe it will look better when it's done, though. I don't really care about the characters shown so far, nor do I care about most Sony characters. 3rd partys will have to be really cool to make me interested. Though, I don't actually hate the the characters so far. Fat Princess and Radec look incredibly generic, but Parappa and Sly are cool. I hope Jak and Daxter have their original designs.
Might rent the game to see if it's any good.

So was that Battle Stadium DON thing that came out a while ago and people still ate that up and it looked good. The SSB gameplay is good, and there are too many games coming out that are carbon copies of each other to complain about this one specifically.

And it's not the same, DON uses a "Morale bar" system.

1. When Melee came out, Marth hadn't been in a video game for 8 years when he got onto Melee, as his last game was Fire Emblem: Monsho no Nazo, for the Super Famicom.
2. When Melee came out, Ice Climbers hadn't been in a game for 17 years.
3. I'm not going to bother looking up the age difference for Game and Watch and ROB/ROBOT.
4. The game has Kratos and Sweetums. Aimed for kids?
5. Parappa had an anime series in Japan, as well as several port and PSN releases.
6. That's kind of the point of this game and Smash Brothers. You get to be introduced to games you've never seen or known about, and get interested in them.
7. I think you're right in terms of Lightning, though I find that disappointing. -

So, apparently you have to KO the others to win. But for some reason you can only KO with special attacks. Which just makes this game sound a lot less appealing to me.
