Naruto and Bleach: Let's put this thread to bed I

Ah yes. Muppet Babies. The show that will never ever ever come to dvd, because of all the copyrighted footage within the show.
-
How exactly did they get away with using Star Wars and Ghostbuster footage to being with?
-
They aren't supposed to be living beings, they are masses of chakra, that's why they can't die but reform in another part, that's why they have unlimited chakra, that's why they don't need food or anything from their hosts.
Having a baby stage is not something that you expect out of a construct, sentinent or not.
The Sage created them using IZANGI. He could of made them anyway he likes. This has been established alwready http://www.mangareader.net/93-57473-10/naruto/chapter-510.html read from that page.

…...............................LOL Typo!

So….I take it that now the tailed beasts can age? (If we get a flashback of chibi-bijus). I always thought that they were always "adults" from the time the Sage created them out of the jubi's chakra...
odd..
I didn't really like seeing the baby kyubi with a tear in his eye. I mean, I never really thought less of the kybui after seeing so many ways of keeping it under control (MS, Mokuton, Kushina's chains, etc). I mean, there has to be ways to control a behemoth like that, but this kind of characterisation is sorta taking away all of the badassery that the kyubi was supposed to have. I would've preferred if Kishi stuck with the Kyubi being a bastard because of the fact that it was always made a weapon against it's will, I don't think that the short flashback in this chapter was really necessary.

I'm going to go ahead and give Kishi a little leeway. I don't mind seeing the Tailed Beasts as chibi's! I didn't expect it, and I assumed they were created in their current form, but still, doesn't bother me.
Kurama having tears doesn't bother me either, or him siding with Naruto! What bothers me is that in the manga, this is happening a few days after Naruto beat Kurama in a fight, stole his Chakra, and resealed him.
Hell, adding a few bits of text could even make it better! During the fight for his chakra, had Kurama mentioned something like "I have to admit kid, you have grown strong over the years" and just shown that at that point he at least RESPECTED him, then the rest would make sense. He respects him a bit, knows he's different than other humans, but still doesn't like Naruto. He gives Naruto his Chakra because he'd rather have him control him over Madara, fair enough, a mutual respect is intact at this point. Then Kurama siding with him is alright!
If Kishi gave a small timeskip when Naruto got Kurama's Chakra, to show Kurama after some time has passed, I would have accepted it easier. But the fact is that in the manga, a few days ago Kurama was trying to KILL Naruto, and know he's joking about his homosexual tendencies!

Oh don't get me wrong, I mean seeing chibi-biju's wasn't necessarily that disturbing to me, I just found it odd…

I dunno, I mean the kyubi's personality was always that of a douche/asshole, it was just funny to see that out of all of the beasts that were there, he was the one that was crying. I would understand if it was the case like Nagato, when he was a kid, seeing his parents slain and having to defend Yahiko against that random ninja that attacked them or something like that. I think it was unecessary for Kishimoto to show us Kurama crying, or even that whole flashback in general
Hell, adding a few bits of text could even make it better! During the fight for his chakra, had Kurama mentioned something like "I have to admit kid, you have grown strong over the years" and just shown that at that point he at least RESPECTED him, then the rest would make sense.
Well, you gotta remember that the kyubi is used to getting owned and then used for his power, so basically Naruto was no different than Madara, Tobi, Kushina nor Hashirama. What exactly about that fight would've made Kurama respect him? Naruto beating him and sealing him at that point was no different than what any of the other characters that I mentioned before did to him in the past.
I guess what made Kurama respect Naruto was the fact that he was different than most humans, that he at least has some kind of respect for the beasts, and sees them as more than weapons, and doesn't just see them as nukes.
I do agree that the developmental aspect was lacking. I personally was hoping for something more intense than Kurama getting indirectly Talk-no-jutsu'd during Naruto's convo with Tobi/Son. Like a better fleshing out of of the Kyubi's becoming an evil douche (Seeing that he apparently was sorta nice-ish when he was younger) and Naruto convincingly getting to understand Kurama and probably point out that he can relate (Seeing that the villagers saw him as just a weapon as well…well probably more of a bad reminder of the reason why Minato gave up his life).
But I guess the only way that Naruto and Kurama were gonna cooperate would be in the situation that you pointed out, being forced to work together in the sight of a common enemy. Which makes sense, but Kishi should've just left it there, but then he went and applied fabric softner to the whole thing and made Kurama do fist bumps and show him crying as a kid, which is sorta suckish. I liked the idea of Naruto and Kyubi being forced to work together, but still at odds with each other. But then again, Naruto dealing with Kurama is supposed to conincide with him dealing with hatred in general...meh the exectuon could've been better IMO.
Which brings to mind the fact that Naruto is supposed to stop Sasuke from wiping out the village, and deal with hatred in general...which means that what went down between Naruto and the kyubi during the war could actually be a bad sign....

1. They don't have unlimited Chakra. If they did they would all be equal in a fight which is clearly not the case. There's a lot of stuff implied over the years even suggesting a hierarchy of power between them but even if they lacked the intelligence to use all their chakra properly raw unlimited chakra itself is a destructive enough force that it would make them all invincible.
2. They have physical bodies. They bleed, can be cut, get tired, etc. I don't know if that alone implies that they age but it can certainly mean that they can grow in size and power. Also knowing they have a finite amount of chakra and that chakra can grow, be absorbed, or can be formed from sheer will it's possible that they didn't start off with the massive amounts of chakra they have today and maybe their forms are a reflection of that. The 9 tails shrinks rastically after having part of it's chakra sealed away. A feat that would be impossible if it was unlimited mind you. Their forms could also be a reflection of their mental state and as they mature their bodies mature.
There are plenty of reasons why chibi bijuu make sense even if they are laughable and not as cool.

When a chibi tailed beast reaches maximum happiness, it evolves into a full tailed beast.
Then you expose it to an evolutionary stone and now you're cooking with fire.

I still don't understand what are peoples point about Kyuubi being shown has a kid. When Oro was shown to be a cute kid back in part 1 nobody said he was less of a sick, crazy, weird, pedo, and basass villain. Smh you guys exaggerate everything.
The Kyuubi was always shown to be arrogant SOB. He bullies the other bijuus and basically been calling Naruto weak the whole manga, In fact, Kyuubi has said he gives Naruto chakra because he find his stobborness to be Amusing, So he kinda respected him their.Kyuubi wouldn't just admit something like that to somebody like Naruto, especially a human that he hates.
The kyuubi has been watching Naruto his whole life. He has shown Naruto respect after the fight. This was TTheir first conversation after the fight. So kyuubi has been thinking about it since and shows Naruto respect by calling for him to talk which he rarly does http://www.mangareader.net/naruto/538/2 and tells him how he has grown http://www.mangareader.net/naruto/539 His compliments still sounded harsh through because like I said he is arrogant. Just look how long it took Vegeta to admit that about Goku.
Also Naruto being strong wasn't the deciding factor, it did play apart through, but Kyuubi realizing Naruto wanted to be like killer bee and Hachibi. Kyuubi was still didn't trust any humans because of the past. When Naruto showed in his action to save Son is when the Kyuubi came around and like I said his arrogance was still intact. He still didn't even admit to Naruto he kinda likes him now. Naruto showed him something none of his previous owners have shown him over the 50 years. I also don't understand why you want Kyuubi to show Naruto so much respect after enslaving him again like the others. Kyuubi, knowing Naruto his whole life, tells him to prove it because that's how Kyuubi feels Naruto got his point across to people. http://www.mangareader.net/naruto/569/16

Wouldn't Kyuubi look like a dumbass helping Naruto who he thought would be doing the same thing has Madara through. Also the Kyuubi said Madara not Tobi. Kyuubi doesn't seem to now who the hell Tobi is either He was taking mini nabs until Naruto saved Son. I honestly thinks Kyuubi hates Madara the most because he talks down to him. He

Uh…are you agreeing with me or arguing with me? Because I sorta said the same thing in my post, being that Naruto owning the kyubi and taking his power wouldn't make Kurama respect him, seeing that Naruto was doing the same thing as everyone else, bending the kyubi to their will.
I also said that it was because of what Naruto said to Tobi, and Naruto saving Son that made the Kyubi warm up to Naruto, along with the fact that they both have a common enemy...

i don't care about Chibi bijuu or whatever but what is the connection of that page with what Maxter said? i mean if i am not mistaken maxterdexter just saying that bijuu are a masses of chakra so they are not a real living thing so they cannot aging like animal or etc. absolutely nothing to do with Izanagi what so ever..
and then even if Rikudou using Izanagi to created Bijuus and picturing them as a babies animal, by the logic of chakra can't grow old, they should have stayed in babies form in the present story line.. that is all.
but i am not really care because IIRC there was no infomation from the manga that say whether chakra can grow old or not.. -

I was agreeing with you to a extent. I just disagreed with your last statement that Kishi should of made Kyuubi fight because of common enemy. Kyuubi doesn't know who Tobi is or care. He hates Madara not Tobi

Woah, I think you misread that part. What I meant was that Kishimoto did bring Naruto and the Kyubi together because of the common enemy, as Kurama said, he would rather work with Naruto than be under Madara's thumb. That's what I mean by the common enemy thing, seeing that both Naruto and the kyubi are on the opposite side to Madara ^_^.
As for Tobi, the kyubi has seen him before, back when Tobi used the Sharingan to control him in the flashback. In anycase I wasn't talking about Tobi in particualr, but just the idea of being controlled by him.

Kubo:
Is there a reason the manga is called Bleach, or is that a secret?
The Soul Reaper - the color that you associate with the Soul Reaper is black. But "black" is too straightforward. So I thought about "white", but white is too simple. So if you put "bleach", somebody can associate that with white. So that's how Bleach came.Bleach fans:
Kubo has already explained why it is called bleach already.
"Tite Kubo himself ( the creator of bleach ) gave two reasons to calling it that. One was a symbolic reason. As the soulreapers cleanse souls, it's like they are "bleaching" their souls. Like how bleaching in a clothes sense means to remove stains and blemishes, the shinigami remove sin and corruption from the souls. The other reason he gave is because "Bleach" was the name of his favorite Nirvana (thats right, kurt kobain nirvana) album. " -

oh OK, but I ment Kyuubi doesn't know Tobi real identity. He hated Madara the most which is my point. He wasn't going out of his way to help fight Tobi. The Sage seems to have been around the 3rd's age when he died. I think he sealed some of the Bijuus chakra (evil part) and made them young so they could become good trrough experience.

Bleach and Kubo interview for this week.. this arc apparently has been planned for over five years… yeah..:getlost:
!
First page has no interesting info except the fact that this arc apparently has been planned for over five years.!
! Captain of the Thirteenth Division Juushiro Ukitake
The drastically changed Thirteenth Division
Ukitake was an important figure in the Lost Agent Arc. His Thirteenth Division is the one that has undergone the most changes during these 17 months. His lieutenant is Kuchiki Rukia!
Ukitake is troubled both in heart and body, but Kubo-sensei has said that “he will recover.”
These two were very supportive of Rukia becoming their lieutenant.
Becoming a lieutenant, but still worrying about Kaien’s approval!?
! Tite Interview
Q: Is Ukitake’s illness the same as it was before?
Kubo: Yes. (laughs)
Q: No change?
Kubo: That’s right. But although Ukitake and Shunsui haven’t changed much outwardly, they have changed somewhat in their hearts after the battles with Aizen.
Q: No change in hairstyle and such?
Kubo: Shunsui changing wouldn’t be so bad, since he is quite fashionable (laughs). Ukitake doesn’t have any sense of fashion. (laughs)
Q: The Thirteenth Division’s lieutenant is now Rukia. What about the two third seats Kiyone and Sentaro?
Kubo: They’ve been passed over. (laughs) But still, I think the two of them would support Rukia.
Q: How does Rukia feel having taken on Kaien’s old position?
Kubo: I want to carefully draw how Rukia felt upon becoming a lieutenant, but doing so would take up many chapters, so I’ve decided to do it through flashbacks.
Q: Approximately when did she become a lieutenant?
Kubo: I planned to have her be one by the time she next appeared following the Arrancar arc. While training after that arc, she had a period where she hesitated and asked herself “Is it really right of me to take it.” Only after that did she become a lieutenant. (laughs)
! 10th Division Captain:
! Hitsugaya Toshiro
! A prodigy and the youngest captain's path
A child prodigy who became the youngest captain in the history. During the 17 months of training [Daiguren Hyorinmaru] has perfected.
! He does not care about his height all the time. Except during the small movie chapter 53, kubo sensei says [his height does not change]
! Leading the young Hitsugaya to become a shinigami, Rangiku's past will be significant to the plot.
! Tite Interview:
Q: Has Hitsugaya’s bankai completed?
A: There is an achievement after the training, it’s completed. So far, Hitsugaya’s bankai will be removed once the flower petals at the back of him disappears.. However….
! Q: Is there any other part that has changed?
A: During the mini movie chapter 53, Hitsugaya state that he has grown taller, actually he did not(laugh). Also the chain of his zanpakuto has changed.
! 11th division captain:
Zaraki Kenpachi
! Kenpachi who evolved into a beast and the 11th division
The combat group . 11th division's captain, Kenpachi took off his bell, eye patch and hairstyle has change. Yachiru and Ikkaku's appearances has change either.
! Yumichika, whose strength rivals Ikkaku.Sensei has a rough idea for his bankai!?
! Ikkaku wears an amour equipment that has the word "dragon" on his right shoulder.
! Tite Interview:
Q: Kenpachi still unable to obtain shikai or bankai?
A: Kenpachi zanpakuto is a constant release type, hence it's shikai state. Also, I always wanted to draw the story when Kenpachi became a captain. However, the story will deviate from the main plot if I were to draw it, hence the dilemma...
! Q: What will happen to the shinigami who cannot bankai?
A: Do you mean vice captains etc? It doesn't matter if they bankai, but I wonder who should bankai? Yumichika isn't a bad choice. Izuru's bankai feels a bit gross/disgusting (laugh)
! Q: Yachiru's shikai hasn't draw either?
A: Come to think of it, I have not even illustrate her battle scene (laugh)
! 12th division captain:
Kurotsuchi Mayuri
! The key to the new arc of the Kurotsuchi Mayuri's research purpose.
The endless research makes Kurotsuchi Mayuri busy.
His past research "study of the body" will be the main part to make up the final arc.
! His "face" often changes during the TBTP arc,SS arc and Arrancar arc, it will further improve in the new arc!?
! Tite Interview:
Q: Kurotsuchi Mayuri changes will be?
A: Kurotsuchi Mayuri huh (laugh). Will have different looks in the new arc, but what should I do,will improve his hairstyle (laugh)
! Q: He did not appear in the [lost shinigami representative arc]?
A: At first I intend to draw in the preview before Weekly Jump 7,but I was unable to make him appear. -
Kubo: (laughs) I'm pulling this all out of my ass! (laughs)
-
Man, Kubo's such a moron.
-
@Kubo:
the story will deviate from the main plot if I were to draw it,
Tee hee. He thinks he has a main plot.
-
Glad to know he admits to completely forgetting about Yachiru…
-
Q: How does Rukia feel having taken on Kaien’s old position?
Kubo: I want to carefully draw how Rukia felt upon becoming a lieutenant, but doing so would take up many chapters, so I’ve decided to do it through flashbacks.

While training after that arc, she had a period where she hesitated and asked herself “Is it really right of me to take it.” Only after that did she become a lieutenant. (laughs)Instead of showing her become a lieutenant in real time, why not i draw a year's worth of a filler arc instead. Just to pad the manga and my wallets further (laughs)
-

Following a filler arc with a filler arc…ARE YOU INSANE?!

@Cyan:
How exactly did they get away with using Star Wars and Ghostbuster footage to being with?
The show was FULL of footage like that. (Who is going to say no to Jim Henson?) They had permission to do it on tv, but not home video, and certainley not dvd/blu/streaming media.
Kind of like copyrighted music in other shows. The licensing fees for television are cheaper than perpetuity… and back in the 80's, who knew there was going to be a huge home video market?
-
@David:
Tee hee. He thinks he has a main plot.

Sometimes I almost want to give Kubo a cookie because no one can be that stupid without having serious brain trauma. But then I remember his response to the fans on twitter.

And the way the deals were closed, they usualy only covered technology existing at the time, so VHS is probably the only format alot of these shows could come out.
-
I like that Rukia is finally in a position of some power. But Kubo, really, there's a way to reveal characterization and backstories while not drawing away tension from the main story. It's called EFFORT.
-
Couldn't Naruto.. like… Shadow clone some chickas and make out with himself?
-
Are ninja transformations just illusions, or do they actually turn into what they appear as? Did Naruto just cloak himself as a bunch of rocks, or did he ACTUALLY turn into a bunch of rocks?
-

Would you able to tell the difference ? :ninja:
-
wait so kubo, the guy who admits to going with the flow to keep things fresh who's story has no main goal or objective to accomplish and lacks any form of a plot is now saying he's been planing this plot for 5 years, pssh kubo you troll funny how so many people will believe him though

I don't think "planning" is the right word. I assume he had the basic idea and thought he'd like to do something like it one day.
-

If I recall, what Naruto used against Pein was him having a bunch of solid clones use Henge (Spelling?) mask themselves as rocks. Naruto's clones performing jutsu is normal though (Using a clone to do Kagebushin, using a clone to add elemental chakra to rasengan and so on)
-
What if…Naruto was always a pile of rocks?
-
That's just insulting to rocks.

Yeah no. It would only take up many chapters because he draws HUGE panels with little words. And if that's what would take up too much time, what on EARTH is going to make this arc take 5 years?
-
So Kubo finally clearly said that Kenpachi's sword is permanent shikai.
I have seen so many retarded discussions about this.

I stopped reading bleach since Aizen died so i don't know, but has Kenpachi's bankai been revealed? That's the only way i would read a chapter again.
