Huh over a year since someone posted here ? O_O
Anyway, have just finished "The Changing of the Guardians" and, well, it may be the most pointless and rushed episode since Season 15's "Brake my Wife Please".
By the time we even get to these new guardians who've taken the kids in for a week to grow closer, after having about two minutes of screentime before, mostly spent on not saying anything, literaly less then a minute later Homer and Marge go to get them back, and when they arrive, about fifteen seconds after they leave, the kids say they want to go home, and the pair goes off to vacation.
It felt horribly rushed, like we skipped several scenes. Which we actualy have, you know, the scenes of the kids and the two interacting, and the kids slowly deciding against staying with them after some hesitation ?
I wouldn't mind skipping this obvious part if it was subsituted with something else but nope, the episode literally has no conflict, it's just "Take our kids, kay, give our kids back, kay, the end".
