@kevo_koma:
I have always wondered, do Logias like Akainu and Ao kiji control the elements their made of as in external elements, or are they limited to controlling what they produce from their bodies?
This is a matter of debate until Uda says in short and clear senteces. From the things we've seen it seem that they can only control what they create. We have seen Ace asorb the flames on the ruins of that village on Boreno where BB caught him, but Ace created them in the first place. We do not see him asorbing fire from other origins. One thing that helps the idea that logias can control any source of thier element is from Crocodile in Arabastra. It seems that he was able use the sands of the desert but we really don't know how long he was there and if he created some sand and spread around. While Op Wiki is not the definite site for say on the matter since anyone can add stuff, the admn try to keep info as accurate as possilbe (even if they do downplay characters they don't like, Usopp). They use the manga storyline,SBS and databooks as sources. The site says that logias can only control the ammount they created, either dierectly or indirectly.
By directly, I mean the elemental ammount that comes from the body. Indirectly,= Ace's fire hits a building then it catches fire, that Ace can control. But by that theory, say if Usopp shoots a firebird star at a building and it catchs fire, Ace would not be able to control it.
Crocodile can create sand indirectly by asorbign the moisture out of rock until it crumbles into sand, which he can then control.
Another question, has Yassop ever expressed any desire to meet Ussop? and wasn't part of Ussop's dream to meet his dad? Does he know that his dad is on Shanks's crew?
Usopp does know that Yassop sails with Shanks, Luffy told him when tehy first met.http://www.mangareader.net/103-2074-15/one-piece/chapter-25.html
Actually that is a dream that fans have assigned Usopp. I've read the entire manga and while Usopp showed admiration for his dad during his intro arc he never said he had a dream to meet Yasopp. The dreams that Usopp actually said as a defining goal (strawhats dream that drives them) is
1st- become a brave warrior of the sea (he is so much better than what he used to be, many fans think he's finally met this one, others disagree beacuse they watch more of anime than read manga. Anime adds things the manga didn't)
2nd - to become a real sniper king (so he can support Luffy on his way to become the pirate king)
He also has another desire but its not so a driviing goal as defined as a Dream= to visit Elbaf.
Fact is we haven't seen enough of the Redhair pirates to hear of Yasopp talking about Usopp except in Luffy's village. While in anime it shows that Yasopp did mention Usopp to Daddy Masterson, in the manga we don't see Masterson at all. But its said that Oda was going to add him so its uncertain if that is canon or not.
I was re-watching thriller Bark, and I dont why it didn't bother me before, why in God's name didn't Kuma's Ursus shock affect anyone on the Island, was it explained later on somewhere, or is there a logical explanation to this?
Hmm, I have to go re-read Thriller Bark. I thought the Ursus Shock is what made everyone unconscious except Zoro and Sanji that lead to Zoro knocking Sanji out and offer to sacrifice himself to save Luffy.
