No, the first season just had a large hiatus. So its still on the initial first season story arc. Its about to start up again.
Supposedly.
Though with a 5 month break it may as well be a seperate season.
NEWEST EPISODE LEAKED ON THE INTERNET SEE IT HERE FIRST LOOK SEE
what the hell was that.

you should watch the one with the mario brothers

Young Justice takes on familiar characters
!
Ocean Master, Vandal Savage, Count Werner Vertigo, Queen Bee, the Joker!
Hugo Strange, Monsieur Mallah, Brain, Zatanna, Rocket, Wolf -
…Wolf? Is Wolf a certain character I don't know of, or is it just a wolf? Because it seems to just be a wolf.
But if it is just a wolf then why did the person on the blog you linked say that they were excited for the last 3 characters there, when the last one was just...a wolf.
Other than that, all the characters there look great, but did anyone at this panel ask when YJ was coming back to TV? :ninja:

Uh.
Here you go. -
Me, wonders what type of voice actor they'll get to voice Joker . Hamil is a bit too predictable…..
-
It won't be Hamill. He's basically retired from the role, Arkham Asylum aside, and they didn't get Kevin Conroy for Batman.
-
Hamill did say at SDCC 2011 that he wouldn't rule returning to the Joker out, just that it'd be hard to top Arkham City.
-
@Yuugi's:
Hamill did say at SDCC 2011 that he wouldn't rule returning to the Joker out, just that it'd be hard to top Arkham City.
Yeah. He seems to pretty much just do roles that are actually high profile, or he really feels he would enjoy.
-
If I recall Hamill said that he hadn't planned to do anything past Arkham Asylum, but when he saw the script for Akrham City he went nuts for it and came back.
No Arleen Sorkin though. No Harley for her Joker. sad
-
So wiki says targets is supposed to air tonight with new eps returning next week. I hope this is true.

It is.
Up through episode #21 are in the can. Season Two episodes are already starting production in Korea.
-
I started watching it yesterday alongside MLP, Adventure Time, Sym-Boinic Titan and Scooby Doo Mystery Inc(yeah, lots of shit to catch up on before this year concludes)
It's probably my favorite so far of the bunch(over SD). Currently on episode 4. There's lots to say but I quite like the chemistry between the team since they are all quite under experienced. I also like teamwork used to make up for eachother's lack of mastery over thier own abilities. The "Hello Megan!" catchphrase is annoying though.
I should be all caught up sometime next month.
-
They sort-of explain the "hello Megan" thing. There's a tv show called just that. M'Gann must have seen it, liked it and modeled herself after the main character of the show.
-
Huh, guess I missed Targets first time round. Great episode.
Regarding the whole issue:
! …Here's a thought; what if the mole is M'gann? They've just brought up the white martians in the show, who had moles in the US government in the Justice League cartoon. Perhaps they are the ones behind 'The Light' (using various high-powered humans as their puppets), and are using M'gann as their way into the Justice League? Plus, it'd make things more miserable for Superboy.
That was pretty much my thinking too having watched targets. Although
! I think they will believe she's the mole, she'll temporarily leave and then it'll turn out to be someone else.
-
im thinking about rewatching all of this before next friday
it's been so long!
-
I'm can't wait for my fav vilians to appear on this show, especially Joker….... wondering what he'll sound like.
-
I'm pumped for some new episodes, but I have to feel that Artemis is the mole. Too easy, can't be anyone else. Except maybe a universe-crossing Alex Wilder.
-
! The mole's gotta be Artemis. If you look up Sportsmaster you'll find that he has a villainous daughter, Artemis Crock, who is really obscure. The creators said that she's a really obscure character, and they've already alluded to her possibly being evil with Cheshire. Unless it's one big red herring, which would be exciting. But my money is on Artemis
-
Watching more episodes. This show is gorgeous. It's a shame this thread is a bit slow paced compared to… nevermind.
-
Artemis being the traitor would just be… sort of obvious, wouldn't it? Not much of a mystery if its the character they're blatantly pointing at, and blatantly pointing out has a history with villains and that won't reveal their identity. No reason to keep it secret. Might as well just play up the drama of her being a double agent then, rather than be elusive about it.
It flat out can't be Robin, cause of his Batman ties, but I'd put money on pretty much anyone else before Artemis. Not Speedy either, since he's discovering the conspiracy.
In the comics
! Superboy went nuts when he discovered he had some Lex Luthor in him. So I wouldn't be surprised if it went that route at all. Of course, I wouldn't be surprised, so probably not them either.
Aqualad is created for the show and is really awesome, my money is still on him being the one that dies… but I don't see him being traitor. Meagan is so bubbly that her being evil would be a real knife in the gut, and no one, NO ONE would suspect Kid Flash, so it'd be a hell of a surprise twist if it were him.
-
Actually Robby, that's who I had it pegged as too
! Tho I think he's not doing it consciously, may some kind of device that allows the syndicate (or whatever they're called…haven't thought of this show in months) to monitor what he sees and hears
Or it could be…RED TORNADO!
-
Evil flash would be cool, but I would rather see him end up with Artemis.
-
I think it's going to be a semi-cop out. No one is really a mole, and it's someone tapping into one or more of their minds or something. I could see that being easy enough to do to Superboy, or it could be White Martians tapping into Megan's mind. I just don't see them developing all of these characters as main characters only for one to backstab the rest and leave the team. Unless of course they're forgiven once they're found out, which would just make the whole plot thread pointless anyway.
-

Have you ever read a superhero team book at length before? There's ALWAYS a traitor in the ranks eventually, and the roster ends up rotating and changing as some members come and go. Be it Teen Titans, (and there's been about 18 versions of the Teen Titans by now, not even counting the tv show lineups) Justice League, X-Men, Legion of Superheroes, Outsiders, Exiles, Sovereign 7, Voltron, Sonic the Hedgehog, you name it, the cast can always change and gain or lose members, and there can always be a traitor in their midst no matter how trusted.
It opens up new character dynamics and reactions after the change, keeps things fresh.
About the only exception is when its an incredibly tight knit family group that shares a common origin and has very few members, like the Ninja Turtles or Gen-13. And even Gen-13 added Rainmaker later.
-
New season = very happy me.
Such an awesome new series, can't wait for more Kaldur action :D

I understand that, I just think it's different being a TV show you know? TV Teen Titans never changed, TV X-Men never changed, ect. Though I want to be wrong, it would be nice to have a show change things up at that level.
-

Terra.
And the half dozen "Titans East" crew members, and all the other random shmucks in the last season that cameoed for an episode or two at a time. Hell, they even had Kid Flash… briefly.
TV X-Men never changed, ect. Though I want to be wrong, it would be nice to have a show change things up at that level.
Phoenix saga.
Also, Morph died, came back evil, teased with joining, then didn't. Magneto switched sides constantly, plus there were the walkons by Nightcrawler, Collosus and the like.
-
Ah, 1.11 was just incredible. Superbody plays Icicle Jr. like a fiddle then finally recognizes how M'gann feels. I can't wait for the next episode.
-
The new episode was great :D
Great to see Amanda Waller,Hugo Strange, and The Riddler(I didn't think he would be in this episode) and enjoyed the fight scenes and the scene with Icicle Jr
"Dude Thats Your Sister" XD -

Poor Riddler. Riddleculed to no end. And what happened to Waller? Did she get fired?

Yep, seems like it.

But he escaped, and no one has riddled him that.
-
…errrr yeah. Good episode. I was kinda kidding earlier tho O x O
-
"Optimus, wake up! You're going to be late for your first day of school!"
Best quote from this series. Ever.
Anyhow, another great episode. I actually thought this might have been one of Aqualad and Red Tornado's tests, but for Red Tornado to be reprogrammed like that…dang! The Robin-with-a-camera gag was hilarious, too. I'm also glad the writers aren't trying to hide the Super-Mart pairing, although if they going to show 'em going at it like that they may as well go all out. Wally not noticing their relationship only leads me to think the fallout is going to sting, badly.
Hearing Superman wake up Artemis was pretty funny because the first thing that sprang to mind was "Crap, gotta save money! North, say these lines!!"
-
! I had no idea Artemis and Cheshire were siblings.
-
^ This would be a perfectly good opportunity to use the spoiler tag function.
-
Oops, sorry about that.
-
It's STILL not too late to use spoiler tags. hint-hint
-
Or it could be…RED TORNADO!
! Give this man a cookie, because it looks like he called it.
! Unless RT isn't THE mole. -
Watching weekly. The show keeps me entertained though some things in the series do make me cringe.
! Red tornado probably isn't the mole. From what I got, he "turned evil" once he got shocked after "touching" his red evil "relatives".
! For who the mole is, I read this on tvtropes. The Light said in the premiere that Superboy was created if Superman died or if Superman "turned from the light". And since light is the evil organization… which would also explain Superman's distant behavior though I never read Young Justice or know of the D.C. universe. -
Wait, is the mole part of Young Justice or the Justice League?
I thought it was Artemis. Yeah, it's obvious but why she's doing it could make things interesting. Speaking of Artemis, her voice was shrieked a lot last episode.
Nice Barbara Gordon cameo. Hope that means we'll see Batgirl at some point.
