This cracked me up.
!
I liked Serifan, and of course the direction this is taking may mean my favourite bad guy will be appearing soon.
Michael Ironside please.
Oh, next week's episode is being written by Peter David.

I don't think that Darkseid will be appearing soon. Is The Light conspiring with Darkseid, or are they separate groups? My guess is the latter. This could be setting up for the season 1 finale, but I'm inclined to think that this is foreshadowing for season 2, while season 1 will be about The Light.
I know of The Forever People, because they were actually one of the comics that comprised of the original Fourth World run by Jack Kirby, but they are usually ignored in favor of Darkseid, Orion, and other Fourth World characters when Fourth World meshes with the more traditional DCU. I don't think I have ever seen them in an episode of anything or in any comic written after, say, 1975.
But yeah, solid episode overall. Superboy had a rare turn of possessing maturity and a sense of humor, and we get character insight into the whole team. Looking forward to seeing this continue, but more than anything I want to see some recruitment! Bring in Zatanna! Some version of Wonder Girl, I don't care which!
I'd much rather Zatanna than Wonder Girl.
I'm still hoping to see Static Shock appear some time.
This was the best episode. Absolute best. No contest.
I don't read hero comics at all and sometimes I have to admit that this show would feel more special if I did knew who certain characters were(otherwise they become flat background characters). But this time? I really liked the The Genesis guys and would really like to see more of them. Hell, I'd watch a whole show if it was centered on these characters.
That aside, the character development was nice too.

Yeah, The Light are too smart to be working with Darkseid.
Also, apparently they get wizard of oz on apokolips

Desaad has used "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" on repeat to break those who fail the mighty Darkseid. And if that doesn't work, the sugary sweet brightness of Oz does.
! I actually really liked this episode, just for the sessions with Black Canary. The fact is, these guys are still kids. No matter how well trained they are, shit like Failsafe (and others) will affect them hard. It's nice to show the reasons WHY it bothers them, not just shoving it all into easy one word definitions.
! hugs them all
The new episode was great :D
Awesome to see the Forever People first time animated
My favorite parts are the action scenes and Superboy finding out that The Sphere is a girl XD
wonder girl is garbage and i hope she never shows
loved the dream episode
RT is not the mole
Hm. Liked the episode, but I liked Canary's sessions with the team better than the Forever People stuff.
Hmm, little late for the Halloween episode, but still that was pretty good. Like that we got to see Zatanna again.
! Episode was really dark though, what with the sibling murder and all.
Fun episode, although it did look pretty final.
! was hoping David would be able to get secret into YJ permanently.
Poor captain marvel.
I REALLY hope Zatanna ends up joining the team. The Red Volcano episode made me want her to join, but this episode REALLY made me want her to join. I'd much rather her join than Wonder Girl.
So, that was the first Peter David episode huh? Figures he'd get Secret and Harm in there.
! And the Mole plotline isn't over with Red Tornado. Hrm, fine. I guess I accepted that solution too easily compared to everyone else.
! Wonder who it is. Only ones I'm convinced are in the clear are Robin, because he's freaking Robin… (If he weren't Dick Grayson Robin I could see it. If it was Jason Todd he'd be a prime suspect.) and Artemis, because she is just TOO obvious and angsty and being blatantly painted as the obvious suspect. But now the show itself casts light on both Superboy and Megann, for the obvious reasons (and their comics history). is that the show playing fair and giving hints in advance... or is that misderection and red herrings too?
! Fine, by sheer elimination my money is now on Aqualad, given that he's awesome, noble, an original character with no comic tie in baggage, the one that keeps insisting there is no mole, held that information in the first place, they've now said he's above suspicion, and Robin eventually has to take over as leader. I have no real reason to think its him, other than the fact everyone else at this point is suspect.
! And I'd have a really hard time believing it was Kid Flash.

Well, that's kind of how it went in the comics. Though over a much longer period.
Secret kind of filled the Raven role in the comics as the dark mysterious scary past character. (Though I read Young Justice before New Teen Titans, so I didn't know that at the time.)

Yeah, didn't know that Secret (and Harm) were comic characters when I posted that.
Should have searched a little harder, but yeah, that does make the episode make a little more sense.

lol what did aqualad ever do to you? doubt it's him. in the 'everyone dies' ep, he more or less threw himself in a lazer to save a nobody, which i doubt he'd do if he wasn't totally dedicated to the YJ cause.
if we're placing bets, i honestly doubt it's any of the team (doing it willingly at least), but my money would be on artemis or supes
! i think artemis will be outed as the spy, then after shit hits all the fans there, it'll be revealed that it's actually superboy doing it unknowingly
lol what did aqualad ever do to you? doubt it's him.
I doubt its him too! I even said he's awesome and I had no reason to suspect it was him!
I just have no idea who to suspect anymore since they've blatantly pointed fingers at all the obvious suspects, particularly the ones that went through this in the comics. Is hard to know where its playing fair with foreshadowing, and where its red herrings. (Well, impossible to tell until its done, I suppose.)
Just throwin' it in here but the spy perhaps is
! That robot eye Wally collected from Mr. Twister in "Welcome to happy harbour".
Just my theory.
We're pretty much at the point where no matter WHO the mole is, fans are going to be shocked and upset by it, since all the characters have grown on us. Especially if it's in the main 6…
Hey. Here's a thought:
! What if it's Roy?
! He has access to the YJ headquarters despite going solo, is friends with three of the other veteran young heroes who I'm sure tell him all about the missions (whether he cares or not), and has a grudge against the older heroes (who the Light doesn't really trust either). He may not even know he's been doing it…
I was wondering where this thread went. Anyway zatanna is the shit and I'm hoping the traitor is super boy( though unconsciously)
I liked how the whole "what if " episode had a lasting effect on the team mentally. Dick grayson has always been on of my favorites and this put him on the path towards nightwing.
^no idea what you just posted bro
anybody know when this show is gonna start up again
Christmas programming is about to kick in so probably not until January. There was supposed to be another DVD release in late February or so; unless they go the Robot Chicken route and release a set that has unaired episodes, they'll probably air the rest of the season before then.
Wish they would just release the series in Seasons sets. I'm really not a fan of Cartoon Network's policy on releasing most of their works in 4 episode sets.
they do that so they can squeeze every extra dollar out of the episode they can. Why release 12 episodes in a pack when you can make people pay for 3 packs? And then people with money wait for the series packs and when the 4 episode editions don't sell, they drop the series for not garnishing enough profit
Yeah, STILL waiting on Spectacular Spiderman season 2 to get a season box. Starting to accept the idea that it'll never happen and I'll have to get the smaller 4 episode sets instead.
Oh, and the second half of Gargoyles season 2.
Actually, I think the second half of Gargoyles is tentatively going to get a release next year.
@Yuugi's:

I'll believe it when I see it.
As is I settled for a bootleg copy years ago.

Clone Wars is the only Cartoon Network show I know of that gets proper Season box sets and in quick order after the end of the season.
Uhm…has anyone else seen this?
So it seems…
! The hint of Miss Martian being a white Martian is confirmed, and Superboy has a fellow clone of Superman
So is this show ever going to finish season 1?
@moe:
So is this show ever going to finish season 1?
Probably after they finish running through the current crop of new Generator Rex episodes.
Thundercats might come first though.
Hard to tell with their completely asinine STUPID scheduling that rotates shows and destroys all buildup though.
Hopefully it all finishes before DC Nation launches because CN is hyping it up as if season two is going to premiere then. Which would be akward because usually you take your breaks AFTER you finish a season. Not two huge ones in the middle.
wikipedia says feb 3

When every adult on the planet disappears, only the team, Zatanna, and Billy Batson are left to defeat the five most powerful sorcerers on Earth. from http://www.worldsfinestonline.com/news.php/news.php?action=fullnews&id=1236 March 3rd… CN, you baffle me. In January, we waited patiently hoping that the new episode would be up in February...and we get THIS slap in the face. Again.
I don't understand the reason for the timeslot change, either... 7PM seemed appropriate for a series like YJ.
And the Sym-Bionic Titaning of Young Justice begins.
Anyway, I'm going to spend that entire episode waiting for Baby Etrigan to pop up.
On the brightside more Zatanna! She's quickly becoming my favorite character.
Personally, I'm excited to see how Young Justice reacts to Billy Batson/Captain Marvel.
"Wow…this explains so much about you."
Young Justice is back :D
The new episode was great
! My favorite parts are the action scenes and the scene with the Team finding out that Billy Batson is Captain Marvel XD
Zatanna officially join the Team and Zatara becomes the new Dr.Fate
Thankg GOD Zatanna joined! She's my favorite character.
Good episode, hate the new time it's on though, should've stayed on friday night.
! A good twist with kids in one world and adults in the other. It's sad what happened to Zatanna's father though.
I don't know, I can get use to this new time. I am up for Saturday mornings for other reasons already, and yeah great episode this week! I loved how the adults weren't able to see the kids in their POV also! Very cool plot twist!
Good episode, hate the new time it's on though, should've stayed on friday night.
Welcome to CN home of fucked up and completely stupid scheduling
Well, it's really not stupid scheduling. Friday nights just weren't cutting it like they use too and CN put DC cartoons at a time where they'd get decent ratings. Not to mention, they already have added new Ben 10 episodes and repeats of Star Wars TCW on Saturday Morning, with Thunder Cat's joining the time frame later this month. With all of these shows plus toyetic anime like Pokemon and Bleyblade already there, Saturday Mornings on Cartoon Network will do just fine ratings wise.

What was that thing that The Light recovered from the science lab?
@LUFFY#1:
Well, it's really not stupid scheduling. Friday nights just weren't cutting it like they use too
The entire reason for that in the first place was Cartoon Network's habit of scheduling shows via the "drunken chimps with a dartboard" system. If half the lineup randomly goes on hiatus at any given time and completely disappears from the schedule during that time, of course the entire programming block is going to suffer.
captain marvel was all I needed great episode.
What was that thing that The Light recovered from the science lab?
My little brother, who has no real knowledge about the matter, believes that it may be a piece of Starro…I am not opposed to his prediction...
You can tell Greg Weisman is involved because that final scene was practically line for line what the behind-the-scenes villains did in Gargoyles at one point.
! "Yes, the great big panic and confusion caused by that mess was just a distraction, and now it will be a long time before anyone even notices that we've stolen this item."
! Also, Captain Marvel being revealed as a kid should be fun in the future.
It was a decent episode, but it REALLY suffered from the 4 month break deflating all the build up and tension around the multitude of ongoing plotlines.
