And lastly… movie. Um, y'know what I'll settle for a good manga (and hopefully a good anime down the line) I don't really need a movie. But who knows. On that note for some reason I feel like this is the kind of series that Madhouse would adapt into an anime. I would really like to see that actually. Make it happen.
I wonder how an anime version would convey Isayama's unique sketchy style. Maybe they'd go for OVAs instead of aweekly anime series, it would make more sense. As for the live action movie, I'm going to be a pessimist and say that the story up to now isn't really suited for a feature film, simply because not much has been resolved yet. I guess you could say the Eren-is-a-giant thing is an arc and the climax could be when he plugs up the hole with that boulder, but that would mean this would have to be a series of movies like 20th Century Boys, which even in bloated form simply has to cut out a ton of characterization and build up. Don't know what to think about the live action part. I hope Isayama has a guiding hand in the production like Oda with SW.
