Oki first I apologize for spelling mistakes since I'm using my phone while I'm laptopless…
So I've been playing for a few days now and I'm absolutely loving it!! The 3d effects look nice and there are times when I just look around in 1st person just gawing at the surroundings. Just like I did during my fist playthrough when I was 10 (10 years ago). Inside Jabu Jabu was even weirder but things didn't start blowing my mind (again) until entering the temple of time and after pulling out the master sword.
I liked how Sheik actually slightly had the figure of a women but at the same time, not too obvious. TofT looked Tp gorgeous! The forest temple was fun (loved the addition of an intro for the large guard in the lost woods. Nice touch!) and the music sounded as great as ever. The fire temple had me lost, in a few parts as I fell down a narrow platform, lol.
One thing I applaud Grezzo for adding is Link twirling his sword while targeting an enemy in battle. Just added a nice touch of style to our famous hero. (like in TP).
Now the water temple... The most famous temple of the bunch. The new mechanic for the iron boots made the dungeon a LOT less tedious, but I still found myself using a key on the wrong door and then forced to restart another applaud to Grezzo for making the battle with Dark Link more memorable by making him less transparent the more hits he takes.
P.s I still hate that whirlpool room... I always get stuck for a few minutes lol
Now for MY most memorable dungeon. A childhood fear of mine: the bottom of the well/shadow temple. More so the bottom of the well. I held off progressing my playhrough for like a day and a half lol cause I was dreading to see how the bottom of the well looked this time around and in 3D. The cool cutscene with Link and Sheik getting owned was still cool and the whole song of storms paradox still makes me scratch my head, lol. When I finally entered the bottom of the well, my heart was beating so fast, I didn't understand why, but as I entered I got startled at the the skeleton leaning on the wall. "I thought it was real!" I laughed later lol. Everything was ten times freakier, but a little less scary for me, I mean I ended up completing it 100% which was an achievement for me!
So had I overcome I fear?
Well then came the Shadow Temple. Darn you Grezzo for making this already scary dungeon many times scarier! From the random ghosts flying through the air to the aesthetics on the ship to bongo bongo itself! I realized now the bongo bongo is upside down and what we were attacking was his neck after it's head had been severed.
Do people really say this game is only for kids?
I got the goron sword and I love Link's style while handling it! Pat on your back Grezzo. I love how link hold the sword while he powers up for the spin attack or how he holds it with two hands while performing the spin attack the quick way. I also liked the little Easter egg in the thieves hideout for SS. I couldn't find the others lol. OH! and I still couldn't figure out why the gerudos never took away Link's weapons when he's captured lol!
I still have to figure out how to get the last bottle, and complete my favourte temple: the spirit temple! But I'm sad that I'm almost done :(, with this reexperience will never end. I'm enjoying this game like no tom and I'm finding myself forcing myself to put it down, so I won't finish it too quickly. Seriously ALL Zelda games should be handheld! Makes it a lot more fun (I mean 3d ones, but I still love ST).
The experience is like no other... Again! Hats off to you Grezzo!
And I'm interested in reading what first time players think of the game!
I'll post my thoughts on the Ganondorf battle and spirit temple after I finish! Also, hope the post isn't too long and boring, I just had to let this off my chest!
