The sad part is, with this much publicity based around the hiatus and their new security… its probably an open invite for hackers to try their best first day out. And incredibly tempting target to go for.

I don't generally play online, most I've played played online was Red Dead Redemption. But I did like casually looking through my friendlist to see what others are playing as well as browsing through the store every Tuesday even if I have no money to see what's new. Let's just say I've enjoyed those aspects enough I miss it.
Maybe when PSN is back on I'll throw in RDR and do some mass zombie killing in Undead Overrun in celebration. Anyone with me? Most likely not. You guys and your COD BLOPS.

I'm not a big fan of fighting games either. The only figher I have is MvC3, and that's because it has a lot of my favorite characters in it.

The delays may prove pointless in the end, the hackers claim they're going to attack again. It doesn't matter how much Sony beefs up their security, they'll get back in. But these hackers only took personal info last time, so it's not like they went in there and crossed some wires and caused the thing to blow. So as long as Sony makes it to where personal info isn't obtainable from their servers then these attacks will be pointless.
Rather Sony can do that or if the hackers will simply do something more devious next time remains to be seen.

It's definitely worth a playthrough, especially if you're interested in seeing such an interested step in narrative based gaming. Norman Jayden is worth the price of admission to me (such an interesting character, would love to see a spin-off game about him).
The real question is whether all those whose brain stems have been forcibly disconnected from the PSN network will now walk into the light and make war on the giant evil robots who have for too long been feasting on their befuddled bodies while they have quested in virtual worlds.

Wow….Carmelita's voice is TERRIBLE in this game.
Yes, yes it is. She had a different voice actress in every game. Sly 1 she had the best sounding voice, Sly 2 she didn't sound as good but she was a better actress, while Sly 3 she is just… awful. I listen to the Second Funniest Podcast (hilarious podcast, btw) which Sly Cooper's voice actor co-hosts and in a recent episode they had Bentley and Murray's voice actors on and they discussed a lot of the behind the scenes in the voice acting department of the series.
It was both funny and insightful how they got the parts. But the point I'm bringing this up is that they were trying to change voice actors for Sly 2 for Murray and I THINK Bentley, but can't be positive, listened to the podcast months ago. But whatever the reason they were trying to do that could had been way Carmelita's voice changed. But I can't figure how it changed from 2 to 3 as they were basically in production at the same time and released only a year apart. Sure there was a reason tho.

lol most sites always list Sly Trilogy as the one to get if you like to Plat whore. Apparently it's one of the easiest games to do so.
No, it isn't. It's easy, but it isn't a game you walkthrough and get a platinum like Hannah Montana. Sly 1 has SOME difficulty to it. Sly 2 is long. Sly 3 has the challenges you must complete and some are actually quite difficult.
So its more difficult than God of War Collection? Cus you could easily just walk through that and get 100% (only one you can't is the 'speed' run. Challenges take about an hour to finish too.)
It's sad when they are easier to get 100% on than Lego Harry Potter. Very Very Sad.

The "collection" games are setup like that on purpose.
You can get a platinum on Sly 1 with only having around 70-80% completion of the game (the Master Thief Sprints aren't even included). I had platinum on 2 without even buying some of the moves or stealing all the treasure (which I did anyways afterward).
They are trying to give an incentive to people who already played these games to play them again.
I got me a Plat on Dynasty Warriors 7 just now. I feel all special~
Wasn't overly difficult. But very time consuming. I always feel more proud of the ones that take a long time to do compared to the quick ones.
Unsure what to go through next. I have both Trinity Universe and Dante's Inferno sealed and ready to play. But I dunno whether to try and finish off some of the many other incomplete games I own such as New Vegas, Prince of Persia or gulps FFXIII

Just means that if you have a PS3; you can update it and change your password. Nothing for folks with PSPs, nor any indication when it'll be back up, though presumably now it's just updating the PSP and bringing up the new servers.
