So apparently Play Asia give you 50cents worth of store credit if you write a review of something you brought. But does anyone know if that item has to still be in stock? Cos I've got loads of out of stock wcf's I can write a quick review on if it means I get store credit!

Neither Robin nor Nami appeal to me very much, especially Robin, she doesn't have that feminine feel about the figure, and I think the overall figure doesn't do justice to the characters at all… I mean, there's a huge scope for improvement, which I hope Megahouse can do for their timeskip POPs. They may be much more affordable compared to POPs, but I think this is a classic example of "you get what you pay for"...
Zoro doesn't really look ideal, but since he's based off a fanart by Oda (I don't really know what you call it), can't really be helped. I did wish his pose would be more epic though... or sterner at least, he doesn't do very well with that stupid grin...

Before time skip, Luffy is only 13cm high. Maybe he has grown to 14mm after TS. So I'd say that Robin is around 15.5cm according to this last picture.
The biggest Figuarts already released is Whitebeard (22cm), admirals are 20cm and the average is between 15 and 16cm. This way small character are really small, most are alike GLM from Banpresto, and some are bigger. All in all it gives an impression of cohesion but it does not repect Oda's scaling. I am however satisfied with the overall aspect. -

In hongkong now! I went figure hunting and there's actually a lot of shops selling one piece stuff.
anyway I bought bits and pieces since I don't like full sets and I only want certain charas. It's a nice practice in hk that they open all the boxes and you just pick the ones you want (but some chars are of course more expensive). In singapore its usually the blind box style.
Anyway, just some prices for reference - zoro great deep was 40HKD, shanks was 35HKD and dofla (not chibi) was 20HKD. if you guys have any requests (like if you only wanna get one char in a set) feel free to contact me with a budget, though tmr is my last day in HK, I'll be coming back soon again. they have a lot of WCFs but not too cheap (the garp+ace set was 130HKD), and a bunch of slightly rarer stuff (like some neo pops - i saw robin n sanji n luffy)also saw bootlegs LOL, but the bootleg shops are pretty damn obvious, they dont even bother with the stickers and the prices are very evidently bootleg price.
I saw the DX Ace for 150HKD which is pretty good if I want to buy it to modify.!

Agreed. I hate how they have to strip down some of the clothing on figures–especially Nami. That was one of my major complaints with her vol. 12 WCF--the panties and butt cheeks showing. Well, that and the crack down her skirt. Most of the other stuff wasn't nearly as obvious, and more liveable.
I really like the poses of the Figurearts Zero TS better than the ones we've seen of GLL and GLM. Brooke and Franky's are especially dynamic. But underboob is totally throwing me off.

I'd like to get the Figuarts crew (cheap, easy to buy, and apparently in scale) but my favourite character is Usopp and I just can't get that figure. It doesn't look like him, I don't care what people say but I don't really see Usopp. I like Franky and Brook Figuarts better than their GLM versions, but Usopp, Nami and Luffy GLM better than Figuarts… I don't know what to do. Maybe try to get Franky and Brook Figuarts and then the GLM/GLL of the rest of the crew... But I don't think they'll fit well.
I can only wait for the POPs. I'm sure they'll do a great Usopp, with his black kabuto or something cool!

Well I myself will be getting both versions of Robin and Chopper anyways. for Nami I'll probably only get one. But I'm not sure yet. GLL probably will be better but I dunno if I can be bothered with the whole Banpresto rarity thing. (although I do want Bonney anyways so.)
Although I suppose it all hinges on what Megahouse pull out too.

They're more or less doing anyone. At this point they have as much chance of being made as the likes of Bepo or Jozu. (Maybe even less) Personally I want them to be done. Same with the two remaining admirals.

Depends on how much you want them imo. Who was in that set? I remember one was Usopp, Franky + Vivi. And another was Nami, Nojiko and Zoro.
Imo its not worth it. £100 for 3 small POPs just isn't worth it. You can probably get 2 (maybe 3) full sized ones for that amount XD

Oh for this one it's Nami, Nojiko and Zoro. I only want Nami and Nojiko though, so I'm trying to see if there are any buyers for Zoro. I thought 200sgd to be a bit steep, but if I can get rid of Zoro it wouldn't be that bad…

Even though I dislike Supernovas I kind of wished they did the rest within styling line too.
Their poses are simple, but they still look nice.
