Isn't it great when an original series with an actual plot gets ended without actualy finishing but Kubo can be allowed to draw dust, "ilustrate the air" , not plan, forget his plot all the time, and generaly waste our time with going nowhere and going there slow as hell.

I love how Bleach's pacing is so insanely slow Pierrot has to come up with like 7 arcs to BLEACH's one. Including the movies and that one OVA, let us reflect on just how many crises Soul Society has suffered (over a ridiculously short span of time in this millennia-old institution) since Ichigo's tenure as a shinigami.
Catastrophe 1: Ichigo touches a ghost girl! Way more Hollows appear in Karakura Town for some reason! Send super high-class shinigami to abduct and imprison fodder shinigami who committed the crime of sacrificing half of her power to fight against Hollows!
Catastrophe 2: Aizen's dastardly scheme pitting shinigami against shinigami in a gambit to obtain a hybridizing/wish-granting artifact to raise an unbeatable army of half-hollow warriors, sacrifice Karakura and generate a key to unlock and usurp the King's Realm.
Catastrophe 3: An ancient shinigami captain who fused with his sword and slaughtered scads of vice captains escapes from his seal for no discernable reason and wreaks havoc for a short time!
Catastrophe 4: A species of vampire-type guys called Bount want to destroy the world for ill-explored reasons. Only Ichigo can stop the main baddy because the other good guys are off defusing bombs that have been there since forever but nobody who had a vague inkling as to their existence thought to defuse them before.
Catastrophe 5: Some villains want to erase memories or something! Stop them Ichigo!
Catastrophe 6: A new captain turns out to be the leader of a league of soul-devouring weapons users with the secret desire of assassinating Yamamoto. His weapon cancels out shinigami powers so it's up to Ichigo to use his hollow maks to save the day!
Catastrophe 7: A villain with Hitsu's sword's twin and an artifact that warps space and time wants to who knows, go stop him Ichigo.
Catastrophe 8: Rukia's old slum buddies are up to something nefarious, it probably has to do with destroying Soul Society, go stop them Ichigo.
Catastrophe 9: Zanpakutou revolt! That wily Muramasa! Choosing this precise moment to stage his revolt!
Catastrophe 10: Something's up in hell! Go kill the weird character designs Ichigo.
Catastrophe 11: Clones? Modsouls? Holy hell.
No wonder they keep wanting to kill Ichigo, he's horrendous bad luck.
Oh my god,, We just had actual plot development all in ONE CHAPTER!!! HOLY SHIT!! And He still managed to get in his "scenes that don't make any sense" i.e. The fingers.

I'd love to go "aahhhh" here and declare that I can see it now, but… The grid on the floor is probably to blame since it gives an idea of the dimensions, which doesn't work with the rest of the image.
This was a really good chapter. I doubt that Kubo can keep it up though.

Not much to say this week. Ichigo getting his powers back so easily, especially since its crammed in to Lol fit chapter 444 or whatever is extremely shitty writing. Makes me glad Oda doesn't feel obligated to do something extreme every hundredth chapter, man knows how to pace a series. Kubo, when you wrap up a 6 YEAR ARC by robbing the hero of his powers at the climax, you don't give them back to him a mere 20 weeks later. Really, Kubo is just falling back on the easy solution every time writing a new arc becomes too taxing.
Kubo: Okay, New arc! Let's see, I'll introduce some new characters, a mysterious group, and Ichigo is helpless…

So….in the span of one chapter, we have Kugo explaining Tsukishima's power (it's just all-type cutting? Really), Tsukishima showing up, and Ichigo...er almost? getting his powers back.
I kinda had to laugh when Tsukishima just came through the door all casual-like. But perhaps the line that scares me the most is "…maybe it wasn't Tsukishima [attacking Inoue]". Oh boy. Never a good sign.
I should be glad this "training" is practicially over, but reading Daz's above post makes me think that in retrospect, it's not a good reflection of Kubo's planning (or lack thereof).

I'm not reading Bleach anymore but are you telling me Ichigo just got his Soul Reaper powers back thereby making all of that Fullbring stuff meaningless? I think Ichigo getting powers again is a good idea because that might mean the manga will become slightly enjoyable again but in the same front as bad as the Espada stuff was there still need to be long lasting consequences so having Ichigo learn new powers is the best way to go about things. But apparently Kubo just decided to go "fuck it" and give him his regular powers back anyway. Weak.
But in happier news I watched Bleach Opening 14 and I thought it looked pretty awesome even though I had no idea what was going on. I might even watch an anime something I don't do that often. Some people at my school call me the "anime guy" even though most of the Japanese media I enjoy and talk about is manga. And never mind that I like all sorts of things besides manga and anime it's what I talk about in gym with my one friend (who's also on this forum) because it's our main common interest (he doesn't care for comics and movies and I don't care for video games, I do like Kingdom Hearts though). I just get annoyed because at various different points in my life I've been called "the anime/manga guy" "the comic book guy" "the Harry Potter guy" "the Oz guy" and "the movie guy" by people who don't seem capable of realizing that I like a lot of different things, yes I'm more interested in certain things at different times but I like to expand my interests.
Anyway sorry that was a tangent, does anyone else have that problem where people accuse them of only caring about one form of entertainment when they really have a wide variety of interests. I love manga (and even anime) but it is by no means the only thing I like. On the same front when One Manga was shut down I was so sad because the site had brought me joy for so long and some people said "you don't care about manga you just like Western comic books." Well, being labeled as something and only that something is annoying as hell. I don't mind me being labeled a "bookworm" or "nerd" just as long as people realize I have varying interests and talents. So not only am I a "bookworm" but a "dancer" and "gamer" too. Yohohoho. And I suck at singing so a "non-singer" it is. No one person is just stagnant label. They're ever changing so yeah, it'd be annoying and honestly rude to just be thought of as 1 thing.

Take up time and space until we get to the Royal Realm stuff and some real answers sadly. Yeesh, why couldn't we just get something more structured, particularly considering this is all tied to Chad's powers?
Yeah I know "Kubo figures it out as he goes along" but that doesn't really work too much in shonen anymore. Sure you could get away with it in the age of Kinnikuman and DB, but this should be an age where there is a tad more planning, even to something as simplistic as shonen.
Just watch. This'll probably turn out to be some kind of temporary transformation and Ichigo will have to go through more training to definitely get his powers back for good.

You know, there really is no conceivable reason for why the fullbrings do the shit they do given the explanation of… my mom got punched in the face by a hollow and tada.
I would be willing to get extremely pissed off and write up a huge fucking post outlining why it's so very, very wrong to expect us to suck up that explanation and accept it but not even anger remains in my system for Bleach. I'll always congratulate Kubo for at least appropriately naming this series because I don't feel a goddamn thing for this shit anymore.

I'm attempting to argue that some people should wait next chapter to see how Ichigo's powers play out, since right now we don't know if his powers are really back to normal yet. But, I got nothing to base that off of, really. Kubo really abuses the old anime writing device of "make it vague, fans will fill in the rest." He's made an entire series out of making things possibility happen or did they what.
