@ultimateclima:
Read the first post. Mangastream screwed up their trans
Thanks, Clima.
Ok, so now I can go back to the Hodi Boss theory. Hodi's about to chug a lug some peelz.
who thinks that Decken made "Lock On" on Luffy legs when he smashed into the ground ??
was thinking the exact same things
zoro using haki in last panel? my guess: yes! just look at the eyes
Zoro's eyes have been shaded like that since the day Luffy first met him lol.
Sanji is kinda like the joke character or the running gag of this arc.
Zoro has been the running badass of the moment.
Shirahoshi rejecting Decken was great. The Sea Forest should be interesting with so many characters heading in that direction. I hope we see them arriving soon.
It's quite obvious now that the real villains of the arc have yet to be revealed.
Mangastream: "We've had some minor mistakes and typos in this weeks #OnePiece chapter. Sorry about that, it's all fixed now. Make sure to re-read it!"
Well we've seen 2 of the big 3 dominate so far.. me thinks we're going to see Super-Sanji sometime soon.
I never posted my opinion on whether Zoro used haki or not, actually; I was only describing the capacity of CoA's power.
Sorry, my bad. Should have directed my post to flandrian
Haha has anyone made stone sanji their avatar yet? The panel of VD flying in is funny too.
Why is the princess calling him sama though? Is this a mistranslation or is sama also used in regard to someone you fear?
How funny would it be if VDD fell in love with Nami when she shows up? I mean her and the Princess do look quite similar :P
And then Nami tells him he's not her type, his self esteem is yet again crushed.

yeah, Super Sanji versus Caribou
i wonder how megalo breath when his flying? and poor Wadatsumi.
@CP9:

The princess has been stated that talks in an overly polite fashion, so she calls "Sama" to everybody.

Good question. Mystery breathing. :ninja:
I thought Megalo's face is hilarious on page 15.
Nice Chapter ! 10/10
but what about the logo on the weapon? Is the second time, that the logo is on the focus.. i guess we overlooked some hints in the early story and oda is going to pull a Brooke/Laboon on us

It's a rose. The rose on the weapon is van derdecken's (?) way of being romantic.
Has Pandaman's reappearance been announced yet?

as said its vander dekkens way of sending her "flowers" so to speak.
I think i know the reason of jinbei's statement of not to fight hodi, looking at how Nami talked about it to Caimie…I think the answer is to prevent continuing chain of hate of humans by fishman. Mere human, like Luffy, should never fight fishman. They should just ignore it and if human wants to interfere, it is not by force. If force is needed, then let it handle by fishman also like Jinbei.
I actually made that type of prediction a long time ago thousand_sunny
I wonder if everyone will make it to the forest sea by the next chapter.
Nice chapter!
Shit's about to go down in the sea forest!!!
Can't wait!! :D
But if Jinbe should of fight Hodi why haven't him do it already? I still believe there's a bigger shadow on the corner.
Absolutely amazing chapter. both Luffy and Zoro were awesome. I loved Luffy's use of the CotC, and Zoro….holy hell.

 Meanwhile sanji is has still been less than useful since he came to FI. I completely forgot about Caribou though. Sanji will redeem himself for sure.
When it comes to comedy though, Sanji has delivered more than anyone else.
As for Hodi's quick KO, I suppose that is what the steroids are for. But even if he snapped out of his unconciousness and took some of them he would not be able to do much about the wound Zoro gave to him.

Yeah and then Luffy will use the new rasengan he perfected during his training with Rayleigh.
Wow, reading the first page, there seems to be a lot of mistranslation for this chapter!
Glad I woke up late to see that they already fix them!
Great chapter, seems like there's gonna be bigger things happening on this arc…
I hope Arlong actually returns... It would probably solve whatever the conflict the fishmen have from the past...
Pretty disappointing that almost everything I thought was interesting about this chapter turned out to be because of MangaUrine's mistranslations.
Still a great chapter regardless though.
Looks like MS fixed the errors. Good going, fanbase
zoro = chapter badass
Sanji hasn't had any chance to shine. I feel kinda bad for the Sanji fans :P
Zoro-sama~ Is awesome~
Sure didn't predict Zoro taking Hodi down in one hit lol.
it would be hilarious if all of the new fish pirates were weak as hell and jinbei just doesnt want luffy to beat the hell out of them and cause more problems :P
Nice. I hope Sanji turning into stone for a while is their way of getting over the silly nose blood thing. I mean after all Sanji saw already the most beatiful woman he will ever see. That ought to give him an immunity against others so that at least he doesn't risk his live
It looks like the real battle will be at the Sea Forest. I get the feeling that the Poneglyph will be there as well and we are going to learn a vital part of history of One Piece. Cause another super weapon would be lame
Also I am wonder when Caribou will reappear. Sure he looked weak as hell but even if they don't suddenly make him stronger it would be good to see Sanji showing off a bit to save the mermaids. Maybe some kind of an advanced form or his flaming kick. I am guessign flames ought to be somewhat effective against a swamp. Or maybe we will get to see Sanji having learned some form of Geppo that would allow him to levitate over the swamp
thanks for the chapter
Ok here is my theory of what happened on Fishman Island 10 years ago that leads to the hate of humans. Maybe it’s complete BS but I’ll write out what I think happened and how that leads to the current events on FI.
After Fisher Tiger saved his people and other slaves, he escaped to become a pirate on the open seas around 15 B.C.E. which has already been mentioned. But, the tenryubito wanted vengeance against the Fishman/Merman for the destruction of their home and something like a Cold War between the two species occurred, Tenryubito hunting down the fishman aggressively using slave hunters and fishman sinking ships. These tensions lead the Marines to assemble an army (buster call level) to attack FI. Sunny Pirates to help defend the Island returned to fight alongside the FI army. But the Queen was against this war and proposed a peace treaty to be written between humans and fishman. This is the reason for her assassination because she was surrendering to the World Government. Therefore the Bloody Battle occurred between Sunny Pirates + FI Army vs. Marines somewhere near Sabaody archipelago. Fisher Tiger gravely injured with a rare blood type like Sanji was refused a blood transfusion on SA because of the discrimination of what Fisher Tiger was, a fishman. Fisher Tiger dyeing on SA but not before annoying his successor will be Jinbe. Whitebeard claimed FI as his territory shortly after and alongside Neptune who signed a peace treaty with the WG around 12 years B.C.E., FI become safe. When Jinbe was offered shichibukai allowing the freedom of his crew to return home, he accepted. Part of the agreement was for Sunny Pirates to disband which Jinbe agreed to because they would be safe, all this occurred 10 years B.C.E. We all know whitebeards death, Jinbe throwing away his shichibukai position, BigMam claiming FI as her territory and this is probably when Hordy Jones quit the army to start NFP, all occurred 2 years B.C.E.
So how does this have to do with why Jinbe told Luffy not to fight Hordy Jones well because Hordy Jones is being supported by members of the Sunny Pirates. Jinbe is caption only because it was Fisher Tiger’s will and as the crew respects Fisher as a hero they don’t overthrow Jinbe. But a majority of the members don’t believe in Jinbe as caption and want the blood of human. If the Sunny Pirates crew find out the a human defeated Hordy Jones, they might revolt against Jinbe and attack the human. Some of the crew probably equal in strength to Jinbe with the addition of ES might pose a threat to even the SH crew.
Don’t bash too hard this is just fan fiction trying to predict some of the elements of the story. Sorry if what I wrote turned out too much like a story….I wrote this in one sitting and now I’m too lazy to read to over. Hope it’s understandable. This just a single speculation of what might have occurred.

This one is still there
I noticed a translation mistake in page 18
Mangastream has it totally opposite of what Nami said.
In the original script (and what I can make out of the Japanese cam pic of the page, although the stupid watermark is hiding half of it), Nami is worried that Zoro and others will piss off Hodi.
However in the translation by mangastream, it says exactly opposite of that, Nami ISN'T worried about the fact.
Looks like MS fixed the errors. Good going, fanbase
They fixed some, and left others…
I'm probably not the first one in here to think of this, but Sanji is definitely going to wake up and protect the princess from Van Decken, leaving Luffy free to fight the "gray shade" baddie who is behind everything.
Hmmm… anyone mention this earlier?
I Think Hodi is Jinbei's son. So he really knows who's Hodi and what will he do. And also because of that, He don't want Luffy to fight Hodi. After the war between Human and Fishman, Hodi sees that his father lack of will to revenge to human even become Shichibukai. So he idolized Arlong because they shared same vision about Human obliteration.
Or Jinbei doesn't want another god damn Matyr inspiring another generation to carry on Arlongs will. Also to prevent tacky Che Guivera style t-shirts from popping up on the Fishman Island University Campus.
Well this chapter totally inspired me on making a new avatar. ^_^
Thanks for translation updates Aohige !
So, uh… Why couldn't Luffy get out of those ropes himself? Surely he's strong enough at this point for that...
i have simply no idea why Oda keeps on with this Sanji joke thing. He's been spending 3-4 pages on each chapter on it (at least) for the past 5-6 chapters. It stopped being funny a while ago, now it's just truly annoying. I mean even as a plot device it's pretty useless, using it for the whole Fishman Tiger thing was ridiculous.
Luffy's "you're in my way" was so epic. Love his facial expression in this scene.
Once everybody has reached Jimbei, shit should be going down.
Mangastream: "We've had some major mistakes and lots of typos in this weeks #One Piece chapter.
We are not sorry about that however it's all fixed now so m__ake sure to reread it!"
Fixed that for you Mangastream!
So, uh… Why couldn't Luffy get out of those ropes himself? Surely he's strong enough at this point for that...
Because he wanted to do like Hodi, when he handcuffed himself to attack the escaping humans.
