I'm extremely disappointed that [it appears like] they really aren't going to show "Halfbeard" at all, really. I mean, at first, I was worried about how they were going to "censor it", but now, it looks as though they're going to remove that scene altogether. I know that a lot of kids watch this show, and Toei wouldn't want to gross them out and permanently ruin their childhood for the rest of their life, but that moment was really one of the war's top 4 "HOLY SH**" events that I thought significantly emphasized the intensity of the war. Of course, I'm probably just overreacting, but whatever. I would still count it as removing a plot point, though, to be honest. I mean, what if, like, in the manga, for whatever reason, someone has a flashback of the war concerning Whitebeard and really goes into this emotional rant about all that he went through to avenge Ace's death and wreak havoc throughout Marineford, mentioning Whitebeard's magma-face incident? In the anime, it would turn out more like, "Not even slicing off an inch of his mustache was able to stop him." I mean, I dunno…it's pro'lly just me, but I still wish they would've at least kept that fact within the anime's canon and just heavily censor it through some alternative approach…but whatever the case, the next episode seems to be showcasing some of the arc's best implementation of animation quality yet, so, hopefully, it'll be able to make up for it. :/
