Saddest Deaths.

@bartholemew:
what counter argument, all i got is 1 person going against everything i say
another just repeating KILLING, KILLING KILLING
and you Nick and gecko just trying to take the piss.
what am i gonna say.I would accept this stance if it wasn't for the fact that this debate began several pages ago with your first reply to me being this.
-
@bartholemew:
he killed 6 million. The war killed 60 million. the other 20 million were from the axis themselves
All of these deaths resulted from Hitler's actions. He ignited the war, so all of those lives are on his hands.
And you're talking about medical advancement, do you know what horrible experiments were acted out under Hitler's command?
Why don't you read up on it?You also talk about the advancements that occurred. They're no thanks to Hitler. War always brings advancement, that's why they're seen as profitable. We would have reached those advancements eventually; most were already on pace before Hitler rose to power to begin with.
Hitler deserves no sympathy.
Now please stop Trollin'.

i never said popular, i said respected and that he was necessery.Question: Have any of you experienced first hand, a war, or a splitting of a country, or a revolution. tell me…. I have experienced Ronald Regans bombing on us, and my father, gradfather had to deal with the italians who wiped out 10,000,000 of us. "yeah this stuff is hush-hush"
along came the great colonel and helped us, while the outside world at that time portraed him as the new Napoleon, Hitler. But 40 years later we are now 1 of the best countries in Africa and creating world bonds. There is no credit crisis, and crimes are at a measly 100 a year.EDIT: AKUMU
the breakthroughs happened BEFORE the WWIIalso, i hate the WWII, you all fought your wars on our land, and invaded most of the countries to put your military coups, this war has affected me more than you, yet i still do and always will have respect for Hitler

Pretty sure bartholomew kuma is a radical muslim so this isn't suprising.

Exactly how evil does one have to be to respect and admire Hitler, of all people?

You should visit where I live. They call them selves "True finns" but basicly it's the nazi principle they are following.

I don't know if this guy is just a troll or really believes in the things he says. Either way we should summon a mod to this thread. Even if its just trolling this is to much. I hope it isn't against the rules, but i would like to see this guy banned.

You have a lot of hate, you should accept my stance.
You would think that when the forums multinational voices cry out in unison to sing ballads of your stupidity that you might actually stop, listen and reflect on the possibility that the world isn't flat, nor Hitlers death tragic.
@Nobodyman - after dragonpieces rambling in the wikileaks thread I'm just not sure any more. I pray, honestly I do, that this guys a troll an not just a rare breed of cabbage.

he commits suicide by shooting himself knowing that there is nothing else he can do,A wimp, that was scared of the consequences of an arrest commited suicide thats a sad death.
if it wasnt for hitler america wouldnt have nuclear bombs and the UN wouldnt have been created.
The cause for the development of a weapon of mass destruction that could have destroyed the mankind during the Cold War is really something to be proud of. And btw the UN is the successor of the League of Nations, which was founded after WW1.
so much he has done:
- He unified the German people and helped them regain their sense of pride
You mean the same sense of pride that was one of the reason for both World Wars.
- Stabilized the German economy and eliminated foreign debt
To create the economic basis for WW2.
- He instituted the standardized schedule
for the German train system and a standardized measurement for rail cars
To create the infrastructure basis for WW2.
- Created the modern autobahn system
To create the infrastructure basis for WW2.
- Encouraged the development of the Volkswagen
To build tanks for the WW2
- Instituted the Kindergarten system
To install the fascist ideology into children's heads.
- Encouraged the development of jet aircraft, and rocket development.
The development of military technology is a truly remarkable achievement.
Both of eva andhitler killed each other after 40 hours after getting married together. "
it is very sad…......... -
Hey guys what is this thread abo
oh.
-
Hulagu Khan? Yeah, he kind of destroyed the Abbasid and Ayyubid caliphates, and brought the islamic world to its knees after ages of prosperity, but no one knew so many Omar Khayam pieces by heart!
Talaat Pasha? I guess, he did order the Armenian genocide, but what is really importnat, the tea served at his Istanbul residence was superb!
Hitler? Fine fellow or so I have heard.

Don't forget Mussolieni. He kept the trains running on time.

steps in with a box of tissues in preperation of crying over sad deaths
notices what's really happening on this threadYou know…This is why we can't have nice things.
-
I don't want to sound rude, but perhaps a misunderstanding has taken place here?
No one denies the fact that the Hitler formed goverment saved Germany, stabilized its economy and developed the country to resemble a fisrt world state. However, it all went together with establishing a totalitarian fascist regime, executing an ethnical genocide of horrible scale and starting a never seen world war.
It was no experiment to create a new, modern society of better, nobler people performed by genius yet a bit crazy sociologist Dr. Hitler.
-
But the point is that no one is really sad about the man's death.
-
Oh i remember Kuma comes from this land that is lead by this funny guy, what was his name? Now i remember Muammar Gaddafi, isn't he one of these lovable dudes, who are called dictators. Seems as if the totalitarian education from childhood on, which is meant to make people stupid, worked on someone just like in Hitlers kindergardens.
-
But the point is that no one is really sad about the man's death.
What about Glasgow where he's highly respected?
-
What about Glasgow where he's highly respected?
AP Members from Glasgow have had more than enough time to provide their condolences.
I think we should honestly move on to some sad deaths thou.
Not sure if he's been mentioned, but Chris Farley was a sad one.
Sucks that such a funny and entertaining individual had so many problems…
And while we're on that page, Phil Hartman was very very tragic. -
Phil Hartman was especially tragic to me. I mean, it was just such a shock.
-
Of course, the most tragic real life deaths are the ones that happened to people who were still young.
Heath Ledger comes to mind.
Also Michael Jackson (his "This is it" tour would've been awesome).
-
I can't belive you fuckers turned my thread into an anti hitler pro hitler debate. Who the fuck cares? If he was still alive he wouldn't care. You'd all just fall under his ban hammer and cease to exist. I think I should have this thread closed. Can't argue over what deaths we're sad you morons!

It is appropriate that this thread would end in a megalomaniacal rant about how everybody's too stupid to follow your rules on your thread.

No, I think there should be some more discussion yet about Hitler.
After all, Stalin killed far more people.
…wait.
Or maybe people should get back on topic, and Bartholomew should stop being such an obvious troll.

I remember as a throwball question for my history uni application I got asked who I considered to be the true winners of World War II. Answer: America, Germany and Japan.
I still didn't get in…

In One Piece during

- Massacred millions of people.
- Destroyed Eastern Europe and ravaged Western Europe
3)Caused Germany to be crushed and split in two between the people he moronically provoked. - Was extremely racist and would have literally had you shot as you're Arab and not white. And no don't "but" anything because if Hitler considered Slavs inferior he damn well would have thrown Arabs into gas chambers.
- Genocide.
- Caused entire sections of Germany to be PERMENATELY DESTROYED both physically, ethnically, and culturally, namely practically all of historical Prussia. Which was ethnically cleansed of Germans by the Soviets and is now completely Polish, Lithuanian and Russian.
- Genocide.
- Genocide.
- Fucking genocide you disgusting piece of shit.

Why do people always point out Hitler making Germany work again while completely ignoring that he completely destroyed the country worse then anything World War 1 inflicted due to his entire basis of ideology sparking a war he lost?
That's kind of important in assessing statesmanship?Everything Germany has today infrastructure wise is nothing Hitler gave it, everything had to be rebuilt, and West Germans should be thankful for the Cold War, otherwise they probably wouldn't have gotten the economic support they did from the West. East Germans have nothing to be thankful for except Gorbachev.

! In a comic I guess Gen from Kekkaishi would work since he died so suddenly, and seeing his backstory made the circumstances all the more tragic since Gen died thinking his sister, the only person that genuinely cared about him, hated him even though she never did.
! Also Siegfried from Legend of the Galactic Heroes; the whole scene of it with him and Reinhard was really sad. Pretty much all the deaths that happened in that anime were done very well, but that one for me personally was handled the best under one of the worst circumstances. -
Hitler killed himself in an act of cowardice to avoid taking responsibility for all the INCREDIBLY EVIL things he did. How could anyone possibly find that even the least bit tragic.
Also, Dobby's death in the latest Harry Potter was pretty sad :ninja:
-
There are a lot of manga describing Hitler as a tragic villain.
I am not surprised. Japan is Japan after all. -
Japan needed very badly to nip that shit in the bud pronto after the war and have it's crimes outted and made undeniable for the populace, and have the government engage in self enacted reparations and openly concilliatory acts to those it wronged.
Everything West Germany did asap (East Germany refused to see itself as a contiguous state of the old Germany).Instead Japan got up to stuff like this, and still electing people like this fucker.
-
STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT!!!!
You're making Hitler cry.[hide]

-
Incidentally, Downfall was an awesome movie.
Also incidentally, there were a few sad deaths in that movie.
! Particularly the deaths of the six Goebbels children.
-
Really? Hitler's responsible for the inventions in Germany, even though there were quite a few scientists that left Germany because of the Nazis, including Albert Einstein?
Edit- On topic though, I forget the name of the character, but…
! The dad in the movie The Road. That movie was so depressing.
-
Final Fantasy 7
! When I was a kid, I really liked Aeris. I thought she was pretty and really sweet. When she died, it kind of broke me. Cloud's line of "She will never smile, never laugh, never cry". That really got to me, especially with my intense fear of death as a kid.
Metal Gear Solid
! Sniper Wolf. I really hated killing her. I remember crying over her dying, and then noticing that my sister was crying over "Party of Five". We both cried together over the dumbest of things.
! Also, The Joy from MGS3. I didn't cry, but I got misty eyed.Persona 3
! Shinjiro. I completely did not see it coming. When it happened, I was completely shocked and saddened.
! Mitsuru's father. I love Mitsuru, so watching her suffering to no end really made me upset. Especially her following days of, "I've lost reason to fight, and possibly reason to live".The Sixth Man
! I know this is a stupid movie, but the ending made me cry so hard. Kind of makes me wish I had a brother.
! For those of you who don't know this, the movie is about two brothers who love basketball. One of them dies. The other lives on to play professionally (or maybe college), in which his brother's ghost comes to help his brother win (blocking the opponents net, lifting his brother to fly him to slam dunk, etc). No one could see his brother, except him.
! It ended with his brother's ghost giving a final goodbye, as he walked into a portal of light. That made me cry so hard.Big Fish
! The father. I didn't cry, but it was a very heart felt moment. I love this movie.
-
Up.
! Ellie. Just before they were going to go away on the trip they'd saved for all their lives, Ellie gets very ill and soon dies. ffff
