@JERK:
Well we have people defending body pillows in the manga section because of them being foriegn, so don't be surprised if we get eunuch drag boy fucking apologists up in here.
It's their culture man stop being the culturally retarded American already.:getlost:
Haters gonna hate, I guess.

Ignorance is bliss in my opinion. Though I do do a little digging into certain things every now and then, I always end up wishing I hadn't afterwards.
Dumb conspiracy theorists and your very convincing stuff. >_>
I really can't adopt that attitude for myself, unfortunately.
Besides, ignorance is only bliss before your fear of the unknown is turned against you (via lies and whatnot). Knowing more will help you get a clearer pictures of things in my experience.
@Chrissie:Ok. I read that shit and now I am crying.
I feel sick.
The way he says it as if it's something natural… Fuck. What's going on with these people?! This is just plain wrong. WRONG.
Yeah, but what can really be done about it? There's always someone out there doing stuff that shouldn't be accepted but it's still accepted as 'normal.'
I've even heard of murderers blaming their victims for 'making them kill them.'
These people can't be taught or reasoned with, and we can only hope that their Moral Blind Spot comes back to smash them in the face someday.
Although I highly doubt that happens very often, at least to those who do bad things because they can get away with it. -
The Ancient Greeks did little boys all day long!
Look where it got them! Great culture, art and the advance of philosophy!
-
Pedophila is one those great baffling evils that leaves you gasping for an answer to how people can partake in such things without having any streak of conscious.
Like torturing small animals and liking Robbie Williams.
-
It could be worse.
You could one day find out the reasons why people are able to do such things.
I thought of a couple of possibilities, and I shuddered at the thought. -
Imagine one of those eunuch drag boys having to dance to a Robbie Williams song.
It's the ultimate evil, you can't get worse then that.
-
What's the main cause of paedophilia? Sexy children.
-
Smarmy british former boy band solo artists who think they're hot shit and only Brits take him seriously because literally any American could kick his ass.
-
Ugh…u can do nothing cux humanity is "de-evaluating".

The worst part is that many children inflict this punishment on themselves in a horrible form of masochism.
Though generally without the eunuch or drag part.
-
One of the reasons I could possibly end up in jail one day, is for viciously attacking a pedophile, cutting his **** off, sticking it up his *** and then killing him. If it's a woman pedophile, they won't find the corpse. Ever.
The other reasons are normal stuff, like breaking into private property to snap pictures with a friend… What? It's fun!
The worst part is that many children inflict this punishment on themselves in a horrible form of masochism.
Though generally without the eunuch or drag part.
But it's not masochism. It's need for money. =/ They are letting their childhood to be fucked over literally for 2 dollars per night, just to survive and help their families survive too.

Does anyone know the legal process of deportation with Assange? I couldn't figure out where and on what grounds he is being charged as several countries could make charges against him in some shape or form, so where does he carry his sentence?
(Does he have to serve it in one country before being ferried to the next for trial)I'm just not clear how this'll all play out as I don't know who has the power to decide his fate.
(the country he's in, the first country that laid charges or his place or origin) -
More Chrissie's posts.

It's really baffling how many higher-ups, especially in the media sector, are somehow connected to Pedophilia or support it in some way.
Disney is especially guilty of this. Saw an interesting doku that included pedophilia and many other things, like occultism, in media. To bad it's only in german. -
But it's not masochism. It's need for money. =/ They are letting their childhood to be fucked over literally for 2 dollars per night, just to survive and help their families survive too.
Was talking about kids dancing to Robbie William, I'd have to be pretty screwed up to imagine kids engage in pedophilia to "punish" themselves. :\
But yeah, all forms of child labour is completely abhorrent and yet completely unstoppable in these countries because people aren't going to deprive themselves of a meal just because they're not happy. The pedophilia is terrible but it's just part of the horror that forces hundreds of kids as young as four to spend all day in terrible conditions polishing shoes for a pittance. Child labour is utterly disgusting in so many ways.
-
Why do I have the feeling this conversations leading straight to Thailand?

Ahhh~ I see. My bad. And that's masochism in its finest form indeed.

So its pretty much all down to the UK to decide his fate.

Russia made a cunning move here.

From BBC
"It has been suggested that it would be easier for the United States to extradite Mr Assange from Sweden than from the United Kingdom.
This does not appear to be the case as the United States would have to show that there were reasonable grounds for the extradition from Sweden. This is arguably a higher test than the test which applies when an extradition is sought from the United Kingdom."
Finally they are getting close. To extradite Assange from Sweden to USA he must have committed a crime which is punishable in Sweden and as stated above are on reasonable grounds for extradition
-
In truth, it'll be difficult to legally justify Assange's extradition:
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1210/45843.html
…But given how reactionary the world (and the US in particular) has been in responding to Wikileaks, one questions whether legality will truly enter into it.
In other news: Assange apparently has files on every single detainee located in Guantanamo Bay: http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE6B80B620101209
Edit: And in tonight's daily heinous, treasonous, destructive, attack on national security, and reckless attempt to sabotage our noble diplomats' ability to do their jobs, we learn:
The US (contrary to its claims) strongarmed Ethiopia into invading Somalia: http://www.fpif.org/blog/wikileaks_reveals_us_twisted_ethiopias_arm_to_invade_somalia
Shell's top executive bragged about having thoroughly infiltrated Nigeria's government. (Nigeria, by the way, has a wee bit of a problem with oil spills that dwarf the BP and Exxon Valdez disasters) : http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2010/dec/08/wikileaks-cables-shell-nigeria-spying
The Lockerbie bomber was released because Gadaffi threatened to cut off oil supplies, not because boo-hoo he had cancer: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/wikileaks/8188752/WikiLeaks-Lockerbie-bomber-was-released-even-though-ministers-expected-him-to-live-for-years.html

@VL7:
Its probably just a bluff.
doubt it, the guy has access to all of the US governments top secret shit. There's got to be something unbelievably damaging in there.
-
Since Assage is arrested does that mean this is the end of Wikileaks?
-
One of Holland's most watched political talkshows had a guest who throroughly explained how to take down Mastercard, as well as telling the watcher to take down Twitter (as they ignore the Wikileaks trend).
Which show and when was it?
like you haven't wanted someone dead before…and its because of assange's misplaced and misguided desire for transparency in EVERYTHING that will put peoples' lives and careers in danger. What's wrong with hanging someone who took an oath and made a promise and completely went back on his word? And on an international scale as well.
Most of these people who are "in danger" of these releases took oaths and made promises. Many of these documents "prove" that they are corrupt liars who intentionally break established laws. Shouldn't those people be hung by your logic? Yet how would we as individuals even find these people if those you are claiming should be condemned never went against the oath that our hypocritical establishment uses as an ultimatum.
Sometimes the best way to combat an existence is by using an existence of equal composition and quantity.
doubt it, the guy has access to all of the US governments top secret shit. There's got to be something unbelievably damaging in there.
I'm not familiar with the security levels. So I wonder if anyone who does can actual tell us how "sensitive" the known releases to date are.

I know it isn't right to have released him early, but jeopardising the current relationship with Libya would be stupid. Just look what Gadaffi did to Sweden when his son was arrested, regardless of him being freed.
Plus you have to take into account how Libya paid the lockerby victims hundreds of millions of pounds compensation to show it had acknowledge its mistakes.
Sadly I feel the need of the many outweigh the need of the few in this case, despite how awful that sounds.

and paypal has been taken down. not the main site but api (api.paypal.com) which handles transactions.
and interestingly it had its effect with paypal releasing wikileaks funds

"After the attack was so advertised in the media, we felt that it would affect people such as consumers in a negative way and make them feel threatened by Anonymous. Simply put, attacking a major online retailer when people are buying presents for their loved ones would be in bad taste."
Congrats, consumers. You've achieved cat-status on 4chan for the time being.

I think they're just saying that because they failed to bring Amazon down.

Hehe, Canada gets a bazooka.

people @ wikileaks make me want to snipe their heads off. i mean, i'm U.S Army 2nd LT and I was in Afghanistan for 6 months, (going back in January) and to be honest these freaking idiots dont understand the meaning of the word "classified", yea sure I support the whole freedom of information or whatever, BUT not everything falls in to that category , and what wikileaks is doing is showing to the public things that were not meant to be divulged to the public because dont really concern the public nor affect them. idiots dont understand that. I'm really pissed off because this type of information that has been leaked will affect our armed forces, sources, diplomatic relations etc.
I mean, if one of my soldiers die because of this, I seriously think that I''l go Republican lol. XD.
anyways, that the whole point "top secret" and "clasified information" does not qualify to be included on the freedom of information, or i bet these freaking ass**** who want and support Wikileaks wouldnt want their address and personal info to be revealed right? well its about the same. guess what now me and my troops got to be double worried because freaking enemies of our country can read all about us that have been leaked, guess who will hate our army more? Afghans and Iraquies (you guys didnt see the helicopter shooting killing dozens of innocent CIV? ) oh well, that was my opinion. but for those of you who support the leaks, think about this: You are a Chinese citizen with enough contacts and good economic power, you are sick of the supression in China and want to leave the country , so you help USA with information, idiots at wikileaks start divulging tons of info that includes locations AND sources!!!!!! would you keep helping USA or would you hide because you are afraid now to pass on info? . that's right, think about it that way. another example. we try talks with Russia to get an agreement to stop nuclear ploriferation, sure we all happy, back home our envoy talks crap about Russia behind their back and say ok its time to NOT stop making nuclear weapons but let the Russian do it, Ok guess what? that simply cable leaks and now we are screwed… relations with Russia shattered, trust gone, and YOU support the leaks?? seriously, serve some time for your country and you will think twice, I was once happy to command 60 men and woman, but now, I even see people from the country i am defending supporting crap that is putting all we have achieved in hard years of wars to the trash and putting our army at danger. -

Why were the documents leaked in the first place? Is it a failure of the government in keeping their "classified information" sealed tight?
Dragonxpiece's opinion on it is bias. It's a given that majority in the US will be piss by it. Wikileaks just bit into a big chunk out of the US' mighty ass. It could possibly destroy or it already did destroy diplomatic ties with other countries which would affect its global power, of course it is bad for the US but it does not necessarily mean its bad for other countries. There is always the other side of the coin you know.
-

yea hundreds of civilians dying and its no concern to public. civilians get abused in abu-gareeb jail and it matters not. only thing that matters to public should be that
weapons of mass destruction, torture in iraq by officials have ceased, abuse of human rights in Afghanistan have stopped. I mean come on they are not US citizens what rights can they possible have and it doesn't effects or concerns public. All everyone should know and hear is that all is well andtruthclassified info should never be released. -
I'm pretty sure that the people have the right to know that we helped fund a pedo ring.
