Also, your post seems like more of a "I have a theory and it disagrees with yours" rather than a "your theory is wrong and here is proof". Which is fine, but those little misconceptions can cause a lot of headache in this thread.

Your theory is plausible, and I even agree with most of it. However, it's not much of a counterargument. You say the warlords will all be allies in the end, which is opinionated in the first place (even though I agree with it), but then you randomly make this leap that joining the crew is somehow in violation of this concept. I see no reason for such an assumption. You're not seriously making the argument that all the warlords will have equal roles, are you? We've been led to believe that Mihawk and Jinbe were likely to be standouts amongst the warlords since East Blue. To what degree was (and still is) uncertain.
My main point is that I don't see how Jinbe stands out. What makes Jinbe more special than the other warlords? So much so that he will become a main character?
Do people think this simply because he allied with Luffy from the start?
I could understand why back in the marineford arc, but in light of recent events? Particulary the one with Kuma. If anyone he is the one that is standing out the most.
Why is Jinbe more appealing to be a main character than Boa Hancock was? Hancock has tons of fans, that adore the character.

My freind thinks the kraken will sacrifice himself next chapter. I think the dutchman will stop the volcano cause the kraken dieing for people that just cut off two of his legs is kinda dumb. I want to see Luffy at least interact with it first.

In regards to Ace's request, Jinbei's debt and respect, his willingness to die for Luffy, his unique fighting style, his established strength, his wanted status, his foreshadowed flashback and sad past, his possibly foreshadowed dream, the guarantee that he will play a central role at Fishman Island, and then finally the above quote… what do you think Oda's role will be for him after Fishman Island-- as in, where will he go and what will he do-- given he apparently has no crew and is wanted (has a bounty), and why do you think a character we haven't seen yet is more likely to join, when it would require Oda to introduce another role that can outshine Jinbei in the same Jinbei-centric arc?

It seems more like you are just unfamiliar with the theory as a whole. Urouge and I have been the main people behind the suggestion, so feel free to name search us in this thread with 'Jinbei' or something. I dropped in my most recent post on the matter (hidden above) for convenience. Not really a strong post, but a talking point nonetheless. Note that each item in that list has an argument behind it, and the post was made because there seems to be a collective opinion that someone will join the crew by the end of the Fishman Island arc.

The thing is that, with the exception of Robin (though I honestly feel she's the exception that proves the rule, and I don't think we'll see that again) most of the SHs have shown their quirks from very early on in their introduction. Even Zoro showed naivety and said he would go for a month without eating. Jinbe hasn't really done much of that in the two arcs he was around.

Also, to specifically answer your question, if you look at the presentation of the seven warlords as a group, Jinbe seems emphasized. He was the subject when the warlord status was first brought up, back in East Blue. Then he was the very last one to appear, and the only one to make a miserable appearance. The story structure seems to hint that he's the most important of the group (to the story).
And knock the theory all you want, nobody has seriously challenged it in a while.

SHs always show a "natural" personality, as in non-combat actions. Jinbe was shown to be eating like Luffy and hungrily looking at food.Perhaps we will see more of Jinbe's personality when they get to fishman island.
But then again, we got a good look at Paulie at W7, and I was totally convinced he was the next SH. He was totally hilarious, and Franky wasn't at all social until EL. The same could be said for Vivi and Robin.

Franky had a lot more quirks and was far more unique since he first revealed himself as a cyborg, though.

Meh, he was too loyal to water seven and Ice. Also he was pretty much the opposite of sanji and that would have just been annoying, way to much focus on fanservice after that just to provide those two with jokes.
It would be pretty funny if we got through this whole arc without any new nakama.

I was flying through the story catching up at that point, but I remember throughout Water 7 thinking "this guy is the next crewmate? …really?" with a sort of disappointed acceptance. I'll always remember the Franky flashback very fondly because it totally destroyed that.

Getting re-acquainted with the current Straw Hats seems like it would take precedence over getting a new one to me.

Well, I agree that we don't need one now. The end of Fishman Island may be two years from now, though, which is more than enough time to get re-acquainted. That would be more than 4 years after Brook joined. That would put it around the same interval as between Robin and Franky.

i would rather any new members join as soon as possible for the very reason you just said about brook the sooner they join the more fans can bond with

well surume is a nakama if you consider vivi one because surume will probly be left at fishman island to protect it once the arc is done

Surume will likely be the first of many allies the Strawhats make that will be left to defend their respective Strawhat territory.
As the Strawhats liberate whatever arc-boss they defeat, they'll leave behind someone to protect the island, and slowly establish their own (subconsciously) protected area in the new world; much like Whitebeard and the other Yonkou have done.Surume is the perfect candidate because underwater, he can crush any ship with ease, regardless of what powers the crew have, with the exception of incredibly powerful individuals, but even logias would be infective underwater.
My only problem with this, is that Jinbe also falls into this category, and thus isn't likely to join. On the positive side, this opens up an opportunity for an even more interesting fish-man/woman to join.

I mean if he want's to leave his editor for example, I'm not sure he still as the rights to write OP.
When you start a serialization of a Manga, the contract you sign is made mainly for the editor's advantage. Remember that it's the first serialization of Oda, and he was young when he start the serialization. He may have the rights to advice the caracters and stories, but I doubt he can say "NO! I don't want a movie or an anime", IF he wants to.

Thing about contracts is they can take a LONG time to be renegotiated - depending on the type he signed up to he may never have the ability to stop shameless cash ins on his IP.
That said any shameless cash in would be required to recognise a royalty facet - so even if he doesn't agree with what is being done he HAS to be paid for it. What he does with the money is up to him, One Piece is going to have a lot of cash ins but with Movie 10 I think that the bar has been set - any future movies will need to have a lot more thought put into them if they want to come close to matching that.

And to this date, we haven't witnessed anything or anyone even close to be imaginable to fight against Jinbe underwater.

I think you're underestimating the Kraken massively.
It doesn't matter how strong a captain or his crew is, if the Kraken's tentacles hit their ship they're pretty much complete goners. The only reason the SHs could do anything is because of the Monster trio's newfound strength and Luffy's massive haki training with Rayleigh, along with Caribou's knowledge on the saobody bubbles. Remember that not any moron has access to Luffy's haki.I'm sure that the whole FMI needed protection thing will be better explained later.

I think that just because a logia can't go into the water wouldn't stop a logia's power from travelling through the water. The same would be true for a paramecia user.

Oda has made huge hay about how unbeatable they are underwater, and this is their hometown where the strongest of them live.

The only thing keeping people from attack his territories was "the threat of Whitebeard". I know that Luffy isn't on Whitebeard's level yet, and that "the threat of Straw Hat" isn't very well known compared to somebody of Yonkou status, but that's what the Kraken is for; to back up his word, and insurance policy.
Of course this is all still theory though, just something I could see logically happening. It makes perfect sense to me. Can you really see Surume pulling Sunny to islands from now until the end of the series? I can't. Him sitting at shore from now on would be a waste in my opinion.

A few of the logia user's would have easily killed Surume. Aokiji, would have frozen him, Akainu would have magmad him, Kizaru would have lazered him, Enel would have electrocuted him.

What exactly is "fishman-level"?
We have no gauge for exactly how high up the foodchain Arlong would have been in FI. Plus we're underwater here, where fishmen are strongest.

Because unless the world nobles did something insane like drilling down a path from maraijoa to FI, I'm not sure how they could even have approched FI.

There's nothing the Kraken can do that the fishmen couldn't have done 20 years ago.
And yet 20 years ago they needed Newgate to save their bacon.

He doesn't have to. It's safe to assume that in Fishman Island we'll have Luffy saving the island from whatever is causing trouble there. The Straw Hats are the ones that are going to do what all of Fishman Island couldn't do. After Luffy chases off what is already there, then all Surume has to do is protect it from future threats along side any sort of "threat of Straw Hat" that Luffy might leave behind.
Kind of like a bouncer in a club. They're there to look tough. You might be able to take that one bouncer out, but if you know you're going to get a whole lot more after you for doing so, then you're probably just going to let things slide.
