I wouldn't even set sail without a clue on how to.
Chapter 1 never begins.
This, and after that, this.

Spandam never had a change of heart, and he was willing to kill downright anybody for his own pride.
True, the only reason I don't put him in Croc's category is that I feel many of his actions were driven as much by stupidity and pettiness as by evil.
Croc's alright. We do need an official prick-scale, I feel.
I always feel that this idea is a little annoying. Croc is NOT alright. Just because we didn't get to see him preform many outright evil acts onscreen doesn't mean he wasn't an evil bastard, the offscreen actions count too. He started a war and planned on killing both armies, he has probably been, at least partially, responsible for more deaths and pain than any single other character we've seen save, probably, some of the Tenryubito, oh and BB for causing WB's death and it's consequences. He also hasn't had any kind of "redemption", the main point of a redemption is that the person redeemed has to have a change of heart, Croc never had one.
First, Brook and Robin tood the chapter in terms of humor, but after that, wow, this was a dark chapter. Drugging kids, dang Oda, you going to dark places with the manga lately.
Several people said its a double chapter this week but I only saw 17 pages. Do they mean 'double-spread' for the cover instead?
Bit of a misnomer, it means that there will be no chapter next week, not that we get an extra, or longer, chapter.
It might be that law has been directed to work with CC by the traitor and thinks he is acting acording to the governments orders.
Given how lax Oda is on certain aspects of the manga, paying a lot of attention to the timeline won't do you much good aside from making you poke holes in the plot, and given the nature of this manga there are bound to be quite a few. Not that arguing over the timeline isn't entertaining, it just might be a good idea to keep in mind that this is a shounen manga which is updated weakly, probably not giving Oda much time to double check to make sure all the details are in perfect order, also the story would become a lot dryer if Oda spent many panels addressing those details.
This discussion has given me some food for thought.
1. Most of laws abilities that we have seen so far have involved switching one thing out for another: bulets for snow, limbs for misc. etc. I'm not sure what to make of that or why, in some cases, he doesn't do that, but it's an interesting point to look at.
2. Is Brooks power unique in that it affects his soul? Do the other DF's only affect the body or are they also, in some way, connected to the soul?
Also, meh it's only one country I don't take notice until at least a half dozen are complaining.
The lack of bounty hunters - It would be cool to see just a few Bounty Hunters occasionally, or maybe even make one have a large bounty who's known for killing tons of pirates.
Oh yeah, sorry if this doesn't make much sense, because i'm only on Water 7.
I have to agree with this one, the lack of any strong bounty hunters has been a disappointment, I'm hoping they all just congregate in the NW to get the really big bounties.
I'd love too see these two, especially Raging Bull, I can only imagine how cool that would be.
