A quick look on the Naruto wiki reveals that "Sais brother died of an unnamed ilness". What the hell was up with the Evil Root Exam bit then.
This shoots it straight into sharingan red for me.

And this "emotional" goddbye for Sai's brother... wasn't emotional, it was rushed. I didn't feel anything when I read that sceneI give it a Orange Naruto Asthma Attack ( I love this rating system XD)

Sai ruined this chapter. Hands down.
But i'll give it credit and Kankuro and Omoi seem to be the more competent of their group.
I'm lobbying for Yellow Flash Parenting Skills, level. At least there was action and shit.

I liked all action but message of this chapter was so cheesy and lame and how Sasori/Deidara were downplayed in this fight was also dissapointing.
Well atleast something happened but damn it I hope so much that Kishi would stop this War/Peace and Hatred/Love bullshit...

Iruka though doesn't, I mean he's played only a minor, minor token role since that first chapter. Iruka dying would have changed the entire approach to the manga - Sasuke could no longer chide Naruto for never having experienced a loss, and that might have convinced him to stay…so Part 2 would have never happened.

You make a good point, although I'm not sure if I agree about part II never happening (actually, it's more an issue of Kishi just not giving a shit, regardless).
Truthfully, Kishi's been fucking things up since Day 1.

To be fair though I do actually like this voice actor (can't remember his name).
He's voiced by Liam O'Brien. His other roles include Red XIII in Advent Children, Jonathan Morris in Castlevania Portrait of Ruin and Kain in FFIV DS.
Wow that's a bad scene, and I heard Naruto had a good dub. Ouch.
