Did someone else promise to meet Luffy in the okamafeilds? No, I guess Bon-chan is nakama. No one else go it.

Don't get me wrong. I hate Vivi, but Luffy considered her as nakama, so do I. If she is counted in Luffy's thinking, than we will got only 1. If not, than not

Cuz no else got an intense scene like this one (Besides Merry) or was riding the whole time with the crew. No one of your named characters had a deep interacting with the whole crew as well! So you compare Jimbei or Boa to her? Really…

Yes they don't travel with the crew on the ship but Vivi and Carue are strawhats. That was made very clear by Oda.
And it still is through the animal themed cover pages they have along with the current crew -

But that's just it. A pirate captain NEVER counts himself with the crew.
And again, Luffy said he wanted 10 crewmembers. Granted he wanted them prior to going on the Grand Line, but we all know how that went. 10 crewmembers has, again, been supported by the chapter titles (Zoro "the first", Brook "the eighth").
If it seems like I'm repeating myself, it's because I am amazed how you don't get this.
I certainly hope Oda does, I'm not sure I can warm up to any more crew members

How does that make her a crewmember? That makes her a friend. Luffy is allowed to make friends on his adventure.
Every argument that you just made can also be applied to merry. Merry also has the benefit of actually being any help to the crew. You've offered no reason as to why she would be counted as a crewmate, obviously she's a friend but there's 0 reason to count her. She's not travelling with them. She said she couldn't join the crew. One of the most basic reguirements for being on a crew is joining the crew.
Almost every member has recieved a number when they joined in the chapter title, the latest being the 8th. So, who among the people we consider strawhat pirates isn't really one?

It is actually the equivalent. Ships are actually with the crew and are infinitely more useful.

Chapter 439's title is: the third and the seventh. This means Usopp is the third and Franky is the seventh, so Vivi isn't regarded as a real member.

TBH I see Perona as the most likely to join. I can't really say why, it's just a feeling. Even if she doesn't, there has to be a reason as to why Oda kept her around so she'll probably do something important.
As much as I love fishmen and am eager for one to join the crew (and tbh with 4 devil fruit users and the whole Sabaody arc pretty much hyping it up tremendously, along with what Jinbei said regarding White beard and Fishman island, it's hard not to see a fishman joining), I just… don't see Jinbei becoming part of the crew. He just feels so uninteresting to me and I'm just not getting the kooky Strawhat vibe from him.
Although all in all I can't see any of them joining. In fact, I really disliked how we got Brook right after we got Franky, only for the crew to get separated at Sabaody for two years. I kinda want them to have an arc where nobody joins and we see more interaction between them before yet another crew member joins.

Terrible thing to hope for. It's one thing to piggyback off what Greg had spammed about with Vivi rejoining the crew at some point but her taking a spot in the crew while not on it and not being counted by Oda when he goes about titling chapters after the chronological order of the SHs joining is just bad all around.
Plus Carue not being counted just makes it dumber.

Yeah, it's true. I don't have a wall of text to argue it, and I don't have anything aside from that, to me, she seems to fit in with them more. Think about it; ever since the strawhats have gotten to the Grand Line their new nakama have gotten stranger and stranger; Chopper being a raindeer who ate the human fruit, then you have Robin who was a former enemy with a shocking past and a very strange fruit, Franky being a exhibitionist cyborg, and Brook is a living skeleton musician with an afro.
I mean, despite being a fishman and former shichibukai, Jinbei just seems too normal. I guess I worded it wrong; I don't think Perona is going to join, and I'm not even a fan of her. I don't even want her to join. I'm just saying that compared to Jinbei, she seems weird enough to.But eh, no use defending something not even I think will happen. IMO, four devil fruit users are enough for the crew.

Hmmm I am pretty sure Vivi and Carue aren't real official crewmembers "LOLLOLOL NUMBERZ", but they still are crewmembers to Luffy and the rest.

I'm sure someone already mentioned it, but do people still think we're getting 2 more members with a title like "9 pirates"? I can understand someone if they want to argue against it, but with this and the fact the Blackbeard pirates have 10 (not counting stronger)..
