Hahaha, saaame here!! I'm also anticipating just how Zoro will react to Luffy, along with the rest of the crew, and would like to see how they treat him as Captain now that they've each changed in some ways, and haven't seen each other for two effing years. :P

(Seriously, though, anyone else wonder what Zoro's first words to Luffy would be or something? :o It could be something like, "Long time no see, Captain." or even "IDIOT..!!"; it really depends on the circumstances, actually, but I dunno…O_o)

it would have actually been kind of funny if he didn't destroy this ship and was just chilling at fishman island waiting for us. would have reminded me of last time we at shabondy and he thinks were parked at isle 1. stupidly zoro ends up where we are heading.

You really need to stop using first person pronouns to refer to both the readers and the straw hats, it gets really confusing!

Zoro has always been talking philoso-shit hasn't he? I mean, the crap before Rashomon, Ashura, all the Cannons and Shishi Sonson. He's always been that way. Spouting a lot of mysterious/badass/cool waffle.

It never was shown in the anime, only in the manga. I suppose later on, Oda followed the anime and just left him out. I hope he didn't forget about it.

You know, now that i think about it. Mihawk Training Zoro didnt ruin Zoro's character at all, but it has made me doubt Mihawk a little. Mihawk always had an interesting position in the story, as a guy who is rooting for the team and will stay out of their way, but if they cross his paths he is willing to kill them. But now…. if he has been teaching zoro swordsmanship and philosophy... He's actively assisting the team. That makes him much less unique.

Its too early to categorize Zoro's speech. For all you know the crew of that ship noticed him and wouldn't go back to the surface and talked about killing him or selling him into slavery. Given that destroying them and/or their ship is a given, and whatever speech he wants to make after is well within his rights.

Mihawk is cold, but not mean. He isn't cruel, but isn't merciful either. Zoro was like that before being trained by him. Once battle was joined there is no mercy. A little metaphor and poetic imagery might just mean he spent some of the 2 years reading in a library during his off time.

The scanlation followed the order from the original RAW, so yes, he did.

As a huuuge zoro fan and dealing with a lot of zoro haters I'm very happy with how zoro looks nowhis power is going to be off the charts wonder if he can use his haki now. He's even more badass didn't think it was possible! Just hope he still has his humor

So, given that the pirate complaining on the broken ship has a broken sword in his hand, indicating that he fought against Zoro… I suppose that the pirates found Zoro inside their ship, then they got pissed and attacked him, which obviously was a big mistake... And the fight ends when Zoro cuts the ship in two...

My guess is that they found him still sleeping inside the ship, without a clue of what was going on… (It is much more the kind thing we would expect from Zoro. )

That's the thing. We just need to get over it and get used to the change. I guarantee a year from now everyone will be completely fine with his new look. His hair is still a bummer to me, but it is what it is.

The important thing is that he still maintained his personality, and in fact it seems to have gotten even nuttier.

The SHs (Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Luffy at least) have changed a lot from the beginning of the series anyway. It's not like this is their first design change.

Change is fine. I know I don't like them because there is nothing aesthetically pleasing to them at all. They do not feet anything else in the design and feel like they were added last second.

It might be the fact that they look like they are a kids toy, design wise. Firstly, because of the primary color scheme, and secondary since they are basically a cube and a ball.

That and his Popeye arms and hair were a huge part of why people liked him. I mean it was like Oda stripped him from what made him so cool. The only thing Oda missed was the Speedo and the shades.

It seems like they're setting up a battle between the Monster Trio and Sentomaru (plus 2 Pacifistas). I'd be giddy with joy with the fight ends up being a complete curb-stomp battle. I'm betting the fight lasts less than one chapter.

I'm kinda hoping for a "chopper suddenly kicking everyone's ass" moment now. His displays of gullibility in the new chapters seem like a setup for something awesome/shocking later on. Every character in the manga rules him out as the "pet" so it might be a good setup to finally change that label to "Monster Pet" on the new wanted posters.
