If Brook didn't go and see laboon, then it would be strange..I mean, how the hell does going around playing music everywhere help Luffy…I know, I know, there are people saying that he might have developed some kind of music attacks from it, that's plausible...or it might have just been some kind of comic relief..Either way, laboon would have been a great asset to the Strawhats if brook just went back and got him..Plus, isn't laboon already a member of the Strawhats; oh oh, so that only leaves one more strawhat to equal 10................... Brook can't go to Laboon until he gets to the other side of the Red Line

Notice that, Brook's agents (??) have an extra arm join, same as Apoo of the supernovas. My guess is that he learned some music attacks while in their island. For all we know, those long-arm tribe had music knowledge to be had, just like the island where Chopper ended up had medicine knowledge to be had.

I'm sure we all assumed Apoo had eaten a DF (myself included) but … what if he didn't and those attacks he performed against Kizaru can be learned by others too?

Well, maybe they figured out the message on Luffy's arm? The 2Y thing couldn't be that hard to figure out. Someone is bound to make a connection. That, or it's just one of those things like Brooke having a horror themed devil fruit along with Moria, Perona, and Absalom all in the same arc. Just to have a themed arc.

I'd have to say that this is something related to the theme of fate. Being that the real Strawhats are now beginning to gather and continue their journey, they are going to face difficulties that block their path even at this early stage of their reunion. The fake Strawhats gathering right now is just a coincidence allowing the Marines to now gather a large force to stop them.

Yes, Usopp's cowardice is pretty much the heart of his character.

It likely won't be genuinely overcome till Elbaf at the earliest, or the end of the story at the latest.

The heart of his character is to overcome his fears via the journey.
Thats his dream to become a brave warrior of the sea and Usopp is like one of us readers directly tossed into that OP-universe.
Being scared by all those superpowers is just natural,but during the journey Usopp got more and more brave and overcome most of his fears.
And even in the future iam sure we see him astonished of many things,just because they`re impressing for everyone and Usopp overplays his reactions to keep always a funny side to OP.

Brook going to see Laboon in those 2 years is pointless. For one thing, if Brook met Laboon, that means his dream is fulfilled, and not only would it be awkward for him to be the first one to achieve his dream, it would render his traveling with Luffy and others meaningless. Most importantly, it also contradicts his vow to meet Laboon face-to-face by completing the Grand Line voyage. Brook and Laboon deserve an emotional on-screen reunion full of manly tears.

The way that translation describes why they moved the Marine HQ definitly makes me think Akainu is in charge now.
It was interesting to note they called those men after Robin "slave traders".
