Honestly saying, my opinion was not biased. It was hardly an opinion at that, and Luffy has got to be 2nd on my favorite list; if not 1.5th.
I was never even remotely close to saying that Luffy = Zoro in strength, merely that I believed, upon some scenes, that Zoro was closer to Luffy in terms of overall fighting capability than Sanji was to Zoro, although are already quite equal to begin with. Yes, I may piss you off with this again, but Oda stated in the Yellowdata book, for those who haven't seen it:
> He has an equally fighting power as Luffy and when the need arises, he will be the first person to charge forth. Even though he has a devil-like fighting capability, he recognizes Luffy's position as the captain.
On page 45.
However, as someone has said before, the three's different fighting styles are too varied to compare; Sanji being easier to pair with Luffy, and Zoro in his own league because we can, hopefully, all agree that Zoro > Brook =/. I fully understand that Luffy > Zoro, but I've noticed that Oda seems to favour Zoro quite a bit, although not over Luffy, obviously, but quite frequently he gives Zoro scenes that show off his skills, whether in talk discussions or fights or even tasks, and even has a few say, "Are you sure that he's not the captain?!" to represent that they are decently close, although the speakers may not have witnessed Luffy's full power; they simply know that Zoro is incedibly strong.
Zoro has no other job on the ship other as a fighter (and Vice-captain, but let's disregard that for now), and as well with Luffy. Sanji, on the other hand, has his hands full with cooking most of the time, only his secondary job being to defend the ship or his nakama.
I realize that you may have all heard this before, as there's only so much to compare and contrast, but I thought I'd just put it out there from my point, and I hope I didn't offend anyone too strongly. Now, let me repeat one more time: I realize that Luffy > Zoro > Sanji, and that is not what I'm arguing.
