@Greg:
With Oda jumping around in time like he is that doesn't phase me.
@Greg:
By how many hours specifically was that?
OK–you know the reason everyone isn't celebrating Buggy's eminent status as a shichibukai--so... I don't understand your comment/question above about the hours---it wouldn't matter how many hours were between the events, would it, if the Gorousei have decided to wait, they'll wait? Are you thinking they changed their minds? As far as we know nothing has happened to change Buggy's status from one chapter to the next, and they were waiting to see how things shook out as far as power, right?
Also, why are we dismissing out of hand the idea that the bat came from Moria--have we seen the Gov't ever use anything for communication besides a bird? Moria was a "dog of the military" only just recently--It seems conceivable that he has some left over Gov't stationary hanging around from his stint as a Shichi that he could use to hide/protect his communique from prying eyes en-route, and he sure as heck ought to be looking for allies right now... Just wondering...
Yeah hey thanks for bringing up the Vivre Card thing because I have a question.
I previously thought the card pointed towards the individual from whom the card was made.
And that made perfect sense.
But then Rayleigh says he passed his off to Shackey? What the hell? Not only does that make the thing with Ace odd (although he could have easily always carried it hidden in one of his beads) that also creates a huge problem of to whom the card points to.
Think about it. If you're tearing off bits of the paper, where the hell do they know where to point to?
If someone could explain this to my simple mind I'd be grateful.
If I recall Ray specifically said he left the card with Shakky so he could move more freely–nothing specific about the SHs and where they are meant to go--so it may be his meaning was a tad more cryptic than we gave him credit for originally. We all sort of went off that one comment and Loa's explanation back in TB, and I was party to the conversations about the card and Ace in ID and all, but lately, I've been wondering if there may be something we're missing here. I'm off to check to chapter to confirm precisely what Ray said...
