Mihawk: …besides, this article lacks credibility
Perona: What!? You mean Moria-sama dying in the battle is a lie!?
Mihawk: ..... I don't know about his survival, but at least from what I remember,
Moria was still alive on the battlefield.
Perona: If he didn't die in the war, why did they write such article!?
What happened to Moria-sama!!
Mihawk: …...who knows.
Yeah, he isn't doubting the death. :getlost:
THIS.
before you attack me, I know what Mihawk says is that it is a lie the thing about Moria dying in the battlefield, however, as Tsukishima has pointed he added an "I dont know about him beeing alive", which means that even if the papper anounced his dead Mihawk doubted it, he dindt only doubted about the circumstances of his dead, or else he would have said something totally different, and it is also hinting that the government has lied about people dying before (Or else Mihawk wouldnt have made the coment "I dont know about him beeing alive", he would have just said they lied about the circumstances).
And there are actually reasons to do this to Moria and letting him live, reasons that could help his character. We know that if Moria had still kept his tittle, he would have tried to rebuilt his army. But now, if he is alive and without his tittle, he will be hunted by the marines, and so he wont be able to stay in the Florian Triangle, forcing him to start fighting like in his old days without zombies (Since wiithout the fog the corpses of the guys whose shadow he has stolen would die), and forcing him to move into the New World. For what purpose? Only Oda knows, but some returns like Mr.3 were awesome. We will just have to wait until we get more solid proof about the fact (Like with characters like Gin, who could also possibly be dead).
