800 for the base game.
300 for each of the 7 Character Chapters.
800 for the final chapters.It may be expensive all together but, for me, it was worth it.

so it occurred to me that (according to the Wii menu) that the Wii is HD ready. I don't see anywhere for the HDMI cable so I was wondering how one makes it HD?

I'm pretty sure that just means it can be used on hd tv's, which is fairly misleading.

Oh, that's just 480p.
You need component for that to work, not hdmi. I use it myself. Forgot it was called that since I haven't changed the setting for years.

Yeah, I just got a component cable for my PS2 & Wii not too long ago. Honestly it doesn't improve it much, it definitely makes it less blurry which is exactly what I was wanting it to do, but on certain games it seems they look better with the blur because they're made TOO sharp.

I am definitely getting Kirby Super Star as soon as possible! My original copy for the Super Nintendo stopped working, and I didn't get the DS version because I wouldn't be able to play the game with my brother, which was probably the best part about it.

Nintendo really is a great company!
Remembers me of that case where a fan's house burned down. He had a huge Nintendo collection, all consoles (even stuff like the Virtual Boy) and more than 250 Nintendo games. He wrote a letter to Nintendo and they gave him a new Wii and a Gameboy Advance SP. Sure, this doesn't replace his huge collection, but many other companies could have just said: "Not our problem".

That's pretty cool, Nintendo is indeed awesome. Valve is just as cool too. Not only do they have insane prices on Steam but there was a topic on another forum I saw where somebody told Valve they were something like 5$ short for a game and they wired it to their Paypal account.

Meh, the Orange Box is for the PS3 (albeit pretty bad I've heard) and 360. And even my 7 year old computer can play Episode 2 on fairly high settings.

Oh well..Uh, why would do they do that? All the work and effort they put in their games go directly to Steam, which is a PC platform, so I don't get why they would want to develop exclusive PS3 games.

You had probably heard so, because of the fact that, generally speaking, it sucks to play a first-person shooter with a PS3 controller, especially online.

I nearly died... This was right after the announcement of Golden Sun DS.

Apparently the 3DS will have graphics superior to the Wii and be closer to Xbox 360/ PS3, according to IGN speculations.
Which is kind of hard for me to believe, but seeing the Kid Icarus video totally had me fooled for a Wii game.
