Finally caught up! Wow, Zoro is super awesome! I'm really liking the fact that you can put his sword in is mouth. I love Nami too. My main concern is is she going to match my other p.o.ps. hmmm Oh well, I love Nami too much not to get her.

Those Logboxes are some kind of gashapon or capsule toys. Megahouse has the equivalent series with DBZ

Yes, they are trading figure
In every box there are 7 small boxes.
5 pcs full color and 2 pcs variant color(gold color/non color)
in every small box, there are small parts that you can combine to make Secret pcs
(which in this case ACE & Garp diorama).
You need the whole seven character to complete the secret pcs.

If you buy the whole box, its guarantee to complete the set(but not all full color)
5pcs color+2pcs non color+1 secret.

The DBZ sets that they've done over the past few years were hardly blind, because each ball had a certain number of stars on it (they were dragonballs), which always corresponded to a certain figure, so eager little-old-me could drop into the Makuhari Toys R' Us everyday after school and be sure to get a new one.

I hope there's some similar marker with these (or at the very least, each box will come packaged with one of each).

EDIT: Ah, so it is guaranteed Blacksmith? Too bad you're "required" to get the color variants… seems like a waste of plastic/money.

Yep, with dbz, its not actually random. Every star corresponded to a certain figure.
But you will never can tell which one is color, which one is gold color.

I really wish they change their policy about variant color.
Its really pain, the price went double or even more for complete color set.

Hmmm. AmiAmi in english keeps crashing down, whereas the Japanese site is fine. Then I try to navigate tha japanese site and it says its busy, but the english site gets on, so I managed to order both from there already.

I debated with myself for days before deciding to order. Specially since AmiAmi is getting the GEE Limited edition that no other store is getting. Armor-less Aigis is way better than Armor Aigis from 'The Answer'

But yeah… alongside Zoro and Nami... I think I just blew a third of my salary for September. Hopefully I'll have a better paid job by then.

Even if you get the "gold" crap, the extra parts (ace/garp) will be in full color, I have seen it with the Dragonball sets.

ordered the logbox diorama and wobble ship…just 1 box of each though. Anyone with insight as to whether you'll get the complete set if you order one box from Megahouse?

I'm assuming that Megahouse will follow the the normal Japanese toy manufacturer of including as many unique items in a box as possible, like Bandai's FC and Styling figure set. Of course, people have already mentioned what they think will happen with the Log Box in a similar fashion to the Dragon Ball capsule toys. So, it's safe to assume you'll get all the figures, but not all of them in color.

Hobby Search is also one of the older figure sites as well. And they have a 15% discount (AmiAmi is 19%, HLJ is 5% for a limited time). I don't know why forumers here don't order from them more often, other than the fact that they run out of stock just as fast as AmiAmi with their point rewards system.

The discount is for the SW Zoro v.2 and Nami v.2 POPs. Like AmiAmi, their discount fluctuates with each release.
