Worst week ever… I had the worst headache(my whole face down to the neck) in my entire life and even the strongest pills I have didn't even do anything. My mom described my symptoms to a pharmacist and I learned it could have been linked to a sinus congestion and another sinus related thing. Then I'm here taking this other drug to relieve the pain... It works but it easily comes back after moving around, bending over, or moving my head. Now it's freaking Thursday and the only thing I got done this week was laying in bed trying to recover from this endless pain... I should see a doc, but Medicaid expired last week,,, Sigh.

Just got back yesterday from a trip to France and Spain. Left Barcelona at the equivilent of 23:00 eastern time and went to sleep at 20:30, so I had been up for about 21 hours. Slept for 13 hours and here I am. Serious jetlag is serious.
I'll probably chime in later and post a few pictures and maybe a few videos that I took while over there. It was really cool and I'm sad that I didn't get to stay longer, we were only there for 10 days. Next year is Italy and possibly Germany and a few of the countries around it.

What the fuck guys?
Anywho… so today was my kid's 5th Birthday so I took him to his first 3-D movie "How to tame your Dragon". Surprinsingly the movie was VERY good (3-D was decent) and rottentomatoes has it at 98 percent. So pleasant surprise there.
We stopped by Gamestop to get him two Wii games and he picked Nights and Samba de Amigo (payed less than 20 bucks for them so BOOYAH!). Stopped by Five Guys and got us some burgers before I dropped him off with his Mom so I could go to work.
Been working on some campaign posters all day and tossin' "nigga" bombs here and there.

Some friends called me up today to come play Settlers of Catan, which is something we haven't done before (with these guys) but sounded like fun. They're all pretty competitive and will play anything hardcore to win, so before the game starts, I say "I'm gonna beat you all easily, in fact the only chance you have is to gang up on me, then you might have a chance." So ok the atmosphere was set. The first game I win rather easily despite them ganging up on me halfway. Now I was actually pretty surprised at that, but because of my earlier boasting they were all pretty stumped. Second game, they start to team against me even more, but I win again. So now they're all up in arms, and keep pushing to play a third game, and how they were all gonna play against me from the start, etc. Ofcourse I respond in the sense "this is boring let's do something else", but I finally cave in for the third game.
So they try to isolate me, only 1 guy was still trading with me (makes it hard), always chain stealing my cards, blocking my resources and so on. One of them took the lead, but I somehow managed a comeback. We reach a critical phase where I just needed to connect 2 road segments to win, and they all pool everything they had into one guy to so he can roadblock me. But the turn afterwards, I play out and declare my third victory. They're all ohing and ahing about my epic feat for a few minutes, until one guy notices I was actually still one point short of winning! Totally messed up was that I had the cards to win, but for some unknown reason I made the wrong move, and the guy behind me won now. Such fail >_<

Last week, I went skiing. Was fun, although I did get quite a number of injuries which were unusually all on my right hand. There were no internet or TV connection and I'm a teeny tiny bit disappointed that I missed some of the preliminary rounds of the character tournament.
So, I'm back.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder? Just tell her what's what.
If I break up with her then I'll have to say why, which would be unfair on her.
Either way it'll be a knock to her self esteem, and might even make her worry about her looks & personality. Which is why I'd prefer her to make the move to help her move on quicker.
Though you wouldn't know this unless you knew her.

I got hit by a car today while at work. I work at Kroger and I was bringing in carts. I"m walking down the street when a car starts coming, so I move to the side and am now standing behind a parked SUV. After the car passes, before I have a chance to move, the dumb bitch driving the SUV backs right into me pinning me between her car and the carts. Needless to say I start yellin obscenities as loud as I can, and I guess she was hard of hearing because she kept backing up, so I sammed my fist into her back window. That made her stop. She moved forward and I stumbled out of her way. As she pulled out and drove off, SHE flipped ME off.
All 12 ribs on my right side (the side where she hit me) are bruised, and several of the ribs on my left side are bruised. My skin itself is extremely bruised. Thankfully nothing is broken.
So yeah, fun times. -

I tried, but I was so pissed that I couldn't remember. Best part was when my boss got mad at me for all the F-Bombs I dropped. Apparently I was yelling so loud they could hear me inside
But my boss let me go home, and the 2 hours I missed I still get paid for, so eh.
And bruised ribs really are no big deal. In fact, bruising a couple of ribs is almost a monthly process for me. I just drink a glass of milk, and I'm all better. Yohohohohoho. :ninja:EDIT:

Just finished watching Madrid kill Racing. That kick to the face for Van der Vaart was terrible, then he got hit again, he was having some pretty bad luck. Can't wait for Madrid vs Barcelona next week.

It won't beat it but last year I (with 4 other group members) had to do an hour long presentation on the 1960s for class. It was pretty fun actually.

I felt the earthquake but I'm extremely close to the epicenter. Around 8.0 or 7.2, everything in my house fell. Some of my small statues fell too, and one of them on my foot when I got out of the house with my mom and sister, I went downstairs so fast I got a cut on my arm but I didn't notice until later, and I was in bed when it happened. Light went out for a while as well as the cable/internet and pretty much everything besides water. Everything's fine now though but there is a mess in my house
I seriously thought my house was gonna fall.. Thank God we didn't get hurt (well besides my few bruises)

I had to do (by myself) a 2 hour-long presentation on Kenyatta's governing policies.
And for some reason, its really hard to find decent information on African countries in my cities libraries.

That Earthquake was ALOT differnet than that big one during the summer. I live in LA so we feel most of them. The one in the summer we hear a huge crack and everything started shaking. The earthquake today felt more like I was on a boat

Yeah but you LIVE IN LA the epicenter to this one was closer to where I live (B.C. Mexico) I did hear that buildings in SD and LA moved a bit

I thought the one today was scarier than the one in the summer. T_T. The one in the summer felt like an actual earthquake. This one was wierd…..I'm glad I wasn't closer to the epicenter. Eventually all of California is going to be acrewed, if these scientest predictions are correct.

Anywho, this old bat at my store who does nothing but try to make us all as miserable for years may very well be getting fired. You see, she threatened one of the baggers (I work in grocery store), sadly, I don't know with what. WELL, that guy (or perhaps one of the many witnesses that witnessed this event) reported to HR, and a few days ago some reps from HR and the union came to the store. She sees them and hides in the bathroom, only to sneak out, clock out early, and go to the doctor to get a doctor's note saying she has a bad spider bite and will need a few days off for sick leave, and has since requested 2 weeks off for vacation, like we'll all forget about this in a few weeks. However, we're crossing our fingers because she's managed to weedle her way out of these sticky situations, because apparently she uses the NAACP as her get out of jail free card (no disrespect to the NAACP, I just hate it when people misuse their organization like she is here!).
So, as soon as I am absolutely sure that she's not coming back to the store again, I'm making cookies, and I make damn good cookies, if I do say so myself.
Other than that, spent Easter seeing my dad's side of the family, and grandma was well behaved this time around.
