Naw, the thing is, Luffys strength is weakened and his powers are hindered and is in turn not a good example nor a reasonable comparison since Luffy handcuffed is physically weakened also unlike Natsu who just lost the ability to access his magic without being robbed of his strength. Plus found an alternative to do magic. It's not the same.
The best example is Luffy, even if he didn't heat his fruit. He is still physically capable of taking on the crowd since he was trained by Garp to be strong enough to fend for himself. He just doesn't have range advantage.
In OP people have superhuman strength even beyond their DF, while in FT people seem more like regular people aside from the magic. Even without his rubber powers Luffy can beat up most people but we saw last chapter that Natsu got beaten easily by the guards. That is why I said seastone cuffs to make sure Luffy would also be weaker than the guards. And for all we know, Faust might be the main villain and superstrong so Natsu going up against him in his current state (after just losing to some fodder) would be suicidal.
