–-The Mystery of One Piece...solved?---
-
-
An "Enormous Kingdom" does not refer to a huge singular landmass.
-
From One Piece wikia. If it's true, than the Aqua Laguna doesn't come from Enies Lobby, but from the Longring Longland islands.
Actually i have the yellow book, and this is wrong, it's not said that aqua laguna come from LL.
An "Enormous Kingdom" does not refer to a huge singular landmass.
Really? Did Oda told you something about it? :wassat:
-
@People:
Really? Did Oda told you something about it? :wassat:
Grammatically, It does not only refer to a single large landmass.

You can notice on these pics that there are two very different architectures, at the above (modern) and down (ancient)
All of these buildings have been gulped down.
We know that water seven made an ancient weapon, and that poneglyphs can contain the location of a weapon. In clear ancien kingdom and water seven are related.
Could it be possible that the old architectures on the pics are the remains of the ancient kingdom gulped down by Aqua Laguna? -
Where are the differences in the pictures?

All of these buildings have been gulped down.Yeah the modern one were build on the top of the others probably because of the sea level rising.
We know that water seven made an ancient weapon, and that poneglyphs can contain the location of a weapon.
In clear ancien kingdom and water seven are related.
Those 2 are related by the simple fact that the ancient weapon were build at water seven and that the ancient weapon exist back then when the kingdom was still intact?
Do you mind to provide a link where it was stated that pluton was built on water seven? All i can remember is that the blueprints were on that island.
-
I don't know but I have a feeling that the ancient Kingdom was actually composed by almost all if not all of the Grand Line Islands
The one thing that remains to be found is the main capital of the Ancient Kingdom which I presume is what Clover was talking about when he referred to nothing remains of it

Could it be possible that the old architectures on the pics are the remains of the ancient kingdom gulped down by Aqua Laguna?Actually Water 7 reminds me of Venice, which does indeed comprise of many different types of architecture, oldest under the water and newest above, because the city is sinking into the marsh land it was built on. Chances are that has nothing to do with the void century, and that the older areas of the city sunk down under water level at some point. Which meant that they would have to build on top of it in order to continue using that space. <–-Actually that's hardly a new phenomenon either in the ancient world. HUNDREDS of cities have similar stories, with the new building over the old as time goes on. Take Naples for example, they found Emperor Nero's theater under someone's house, an entirely intact market place, and even an old church under the city as well; and those are just the ones I remember off hand.
Chances are Oda's just playing on that aspect of ancient life, rather than doing it because it relates to the void century.I agree though that chances are the kingdom was enormous in the size of it's sphere of influence, rather than the size of the land it was mainly situated on.
-
I think that the ancient kingdom is not at the bottom of the hole at ennies lobby but that that hole was actually indeed made by a shot from an ancient weapen. And that the ancient kingdom drifted out of place a bit by the impact and then started to drown like an atlantis and the aftermath is even now still visible as the thing we know as the tarai current. No such thing can occur naturally. I think the hole at Ennies Lobby was to small to have been the kingdom seeing it was enormous but what if it was at the bottom of the entire tarai current and the current was actually created as a whirlpool by an island that sank quite fast?
-
There are multiple types of poneglyphs, those that point towards others, those that contain the location of a weapon, and those that record history. To build the rio poneglyph, you need to have all the poneglyphs that record history, and put them together. So if the rio poneglyph is suspected to be on raftel, that means Roger took with him all the history-poneglyphs that he could find. We know atleast that he took the history-poneglyph on Skypiea, (Robin says this) and left the poneglyph that pointed to Poseidon.
roger took the INFO from the stones with him , not the actual stones….
"to build" is a figure of speech.... you don't litterally (sp?) need to build it...
your way of saying it clearly indicates that thats what you are thinking.. -
Do you mind to provide a link where it was stated that pluton was built on water seven? All i can remember is that the blueprints were on that island.
Iceburg: I HOLD THE BLUEPRINTS
FOR THE ANCIENT WEAPON "PLUTON"!!!Robin: …Weapon blueprints?!
Iceburg: Pluton is the name of a battleship...
that was once built here, long in the past…Iceburg: The weapons that had been brought forth were all too dangerous.
The shipmasters of the past knew that if that power were to go out of control, an "opposing power" would be needed. From stephen scripts, chapter 344. But actually this part still confuse me. Don't you find it strange that the engineers built a mass desctruction weapon and then figured that it was an enormous mistake to create it ? How'd they figure ? I'm sure they tried Pluton and then reached the obvious conclusion that such a thing could destroy the world. Enies Lobby's big hole could be the result of Pluton's strike.
When I first read E's theory, I immediately remembered of Crocodile's statement about Pluton back in Alabasta :
"PLUTON".
With one shot, it can supposedly destroy an island and all its inhabitants without a trace…
So I think this theory makes sense ONLY if we can link both Water Seven and the Ancient Kingdom. Which could be the case considering that Pluton was built in Water Seven. -
I somehow think that it will be revealed that the old kingdom is a current day country in our world. The WG somehow destroyed and reshaped our world and the ponegylphs were created by the Japanese or something…
-

About that...no.
Alec Baldwin is One Piece.

Interesting theory, but EL has land over that hole. There's no way that hole was created without destroying the land above it. The always day thing doesn't really make sense unless you're at the north pole regardless of explosion.

By "traces", I think Croc wanted to say that Pluton could desintegrate an entire island, destroying any trace of ground.
-
it's just a plot hole.
-
it's just a plot hole.
Or it could just be something that Oda thought looked cool - if you're talking about the hole at Enis Lobby. I know of plenty of writers who come up with intriguing locations that look like they COULD have a larger meaning, but in the end were only done because of how interesting they looked.
Or Oda could be saving the info about that area until a later date when it actually matters to the plot. -

Hello, i edited the thread because the first post was ugly and was a summary. I did a better trad of the theory, and added some pics.
-
it is an interesting theory. I'd have never thought of that.
but the first part is where it is most interesting. Perhaps not being the ancient kingdom itself, but the idea that the giant hole, constant daytime, and aqua laguna is an after effect of the devastation caused by an ancient weapon is believable to me.
I think the site of the ancient kingdom is somewhere different on the other hand

This could be the right idea, aqua laguna's impact has been growing according to Paulie, so perhaps the aqua laguna didn't exist at all long time ago and was rather created as a side-effect of devastation caused by ancient weapon.
There are still many mysteries. How did the craftsmen design the ancient weapon in the first place? And where in the world are these ancient weapons hiding?
We have seen two poneglyphs addressing the location of ancient weapons, and two more poneglyphs from robin's flashback and at ohara. The manga did not specify if the other two included information about ancient weapon's location, but it's probable that they informed such information also.
With that in mind, why didn't Robin, people from Ohara and Gold Roger's pirates, the people who can read poneglyphs try to find the ancient weapons?
EDIT: Of course they don't want to use the weapon, but after all those centuries, why couldn't anyone find them?
-
Is EL a product of a experiment that tested Pluton? Possibly…
Is EL a long lost part of an ancient kingdom? I don't think so
But I have always thought "What the hell is up with EL?" It's so strange that it's always day there and it is surrounded by a giant hole in the ocean. It could be connected to Pluton and Poseidon, but then on the other hand if that hole was made by Pluton wouldn't there be no land left at all? (referring to the ground that EL stands on)
-

Don't forget Robin herself has no interest in seeking them out. And Roger and his crew did in fact find one, but had no interest in doing anything with it.
As for the always day thing, I figured it was some kind of Alaska type thing, like where ever Enis Lobby is on the globe, the sun just stays right over it. But it would be cool if there were some cool hidden meaning to it.
That question must have been asked a million times. I wonder if Oda purposely leaves it out of the SBS, because it will be settled later on in the story.

@People:
Both first details reinforce the idea of an attack on the ancient weapon, and always assuming that this attack was the one who buried the Old Kingdom, it would be interesting to watch the nearby islands and to try to find any relationship with the now extinct giant country.
Yet, the fact is that all around Enies Lobby, the islands are many and not very remote, since all of them are connected by the sea train. Remains of a country gone? …
good theory after all..
but that those islands nearby enies lobby are connected is just because Tom did that with his sea train…when this train wouldn`t exist they would have no connection at all...also the aqua laguna seems to strike just at water7...
so that those other islands(kingdoms) are also part of this ancient kingdom is a littel far fetched from my sight of view..
but rly interesting why this aqua laguna exists..we never heard where this wave comes from, so maybe it`s because of an ancient weapon who knows..
Even in the world of One Piece, is it possible to build a Prison under the sea, located in calm belt, surrounding by Sea monsters?
Personally, I doubt that it is possible. This Prison is suspicious if we take into consideration what has been said in the theory. If it's a part of the AK, then maybe that this edifice sank into the ocean or has been engulfed. This is possible, regarding of what happened with the golden bell of Skypiea.
We can also take this point of view from the WG: "What can we (WG) do about this building, which is under the sea? Lets do a prison, it will be the hardest prison to infiltrate or escape."seeing guys like vegapunk nothing is impossible..but well this prison was build WAAAAAAAAAY before vegapunk..it seems old enough to have a connection to the ancient kingdom..
also this bridge which is still in progress(where robin landed) could have been such a project..maybe ID and this bridge are connected in some way..
i would say that those people from the ancient kingdom were truely a nation with a lot of skill but what this all has to mean…can`t figure out right now a proper theory :) -
Well, all your theory made another theory of my authority come again into my mind. It's about Dragon, the revolutionary(who is also… SPOIL) and Roger. It's said (By Smoker) that Dragon showed up just after Roger's execution in Logue Town, and than suddenly disapeared. Well... Luffy being often compared to Roger, the recent discovers about Dragon...
All of this made me believe that the man Know as Dragon is trully Gol D. Roger. They share the same smile, (as seen in Logue Town when dragon first appears) Roger's eyes are always covered by that shadow that the randown navy guys have... why would Oda wants to hide the true face of a dead man? Only if there's something behind it...
As you said, Roger was supposed to make a revolution to bring the governement down, right? What is Dragon? Indeed...
Roger was supposed to be the most wanted man in the world, right? What is Dragon? Indeed...
Roger was supposed to be Luffy's... yeah yeah, you probably know what I mean. I really dunno if I can say that here.
And also, he was the strongest man in the world, but was executed so easily. Well, maybe not. Dragon seem to hav e some kind of wind logia type akuma no mi... that Naginatas (weapon used to kill him) could have not killed him at all. As it wouldn't have killed any logia users.
Woah woah woah there…. Roger can't possibly be Dragon. Dragon was at Roger's exectution. In chapter 0 - Strong World - he was there along with Shanks, Doflamingo, Moria and other figures. If Roger/Dragon was a wind logia, even with logias being intangible, don't forget Seastone. Ace... Marco... many characters have been shown wearing Seastone handcuffs and only losing their powers, not their balance and stuff.
And strongest man in the world? ehh.. not proven... he was just the biggest threat. Oh and I believe Dragon has a weather paramecia, because of the Lightning that stopped Buggy from killing Dragon's own son, also it was raining and that stopped Mohji from burning his son's ship, the wind was blowing in a way that allowed his son's crew escape fast on their ship, nobody was guarding the ship because the rain wet their gunpowder, Dragon always faced towards the east when the wind blows, and lastly he was able to quickly save Luffy from Smoker by moving with the wind. Yeah half of those events would fit the Wind Fruit, but what about the other uncanny ones?
EDIT:
oh yeah and as Fire Fist Ace brought up, the most obvious against Dragon = Roger is that Garp fought Roger many many times. I believe that Roger and Garp would be the same age. And on top of that, Roger fought Garp likely either long before Dragon was born or when Dragon must have been a kid. -

@Fire Fist:
the Lost Kingdom, which is probably Raftel.
I wonder if the Lost Kingdom has something to do with the Will of D.? BUM BUM BUM….............
which would fit with Davy Jones but i don't believe that there will be a character called that. I think Haki, D., Poneglyphs, Piracy, Ohara, and the Ancient Kingdom are all interconnected.

Wrong.
Ray claims roger didn't have a scholarly brain to decipher the meaning in the scripture. Especially not on Ohara's level.
Taking that into consideration Robin is dangerous cause she is one of the VERRRRRYYYYYYY FEWWWW who can actually read the glyphs. Its a forgotten language. Nobody would realize what they found if they found it, let alone the ability to read it.
Ray claims roger was a flashy person and loved to do everything with a bang. Roger wanted to be remembered. Not as a pirate who was captured and killed. Not as a pirate who died from some terrible disease. Not as a pirate who gave himself up. No. He wanted to spark a revolution so big that he would be remembered for all time.
One piece does not exist. It's a phantom dream like the fountain of immortality sailors bet their lives on in the old days when coming to the "new world/north America". It is an endless adventure for their is never a place for it to end.
Your "new theory" is dated buddy. Long talked about back durning skypiea. And with the new evidence from Ray I claim there is no "existing one piece". It's like sniper islandl, as Usopp claims, it lives in your heart.

Maybe Blackbeard's fruit has something to do with the void century. A fruit that powerful if used as a weapon could have definitely wiped out a society . Remember it was the void century as in something came and wiped it out completely .
-
@El:
something came and wiped it out completely .
Yea it was the alliance of kingdoms known now as the World Goverment.
-
ah damn saw big spoiler words and thought "ooh new spoilers out" but nope just someone ramblings on what they believe is true

I'm thinking they must have had sometime of weapons maybe devil fruits . Because the lost kingdom obviously had advanced technology like that giant battleship. If you think at some of the devil fruits their purposes are very specific like they were either made by someone along time ago or spliced together

@El Chupa
This is my last message to your idiocy. I shall reply no more. Your theory about BB is dumb. Give it up. Anything else you are trying to speculate is also dumb since it's speculation without supporting evidence. If you are going to attempt to think than put some thought behind it instead of rambling.
