I would gladly approve of this trade! Every time ive read bleach and kenpachi has been involved ive always thought to myself "Damn why the hell is this amazing character in such a shitty manga!!"
Kenpachi really should have been in something like beserk or even his own manga series all together as the main character i know id read it!
At least Kenpachi being in Bleach gives me a reason to read it. Seriously, for the most part, Bleach just isn't interesting if he's not around. (there are some times when this is not the case, but Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra was boring, the Barragan fight dragged on, the Stark fight was good but short, and the only Fraccion fight I found interesting was Komamura's)

No surprise, the entire series practically had only two arcs after the intro anyways.
Have to admit Kenpachi's 2 hand power up was the biggest shit ever.

No real surprise there as you could easily make the argument that there have been exactly two story arcs in the entire series: Soul Society and Hueco Mundo.
By way of comparison, Oda had already completed East Blue, Baroque Works, and Skypiea and was three quarters of the way through Water 7 by Volume 41.
and here I thought togashi's "dark tournament" for Yu Yu Hakusho was quite long…jeesh kubo.
I find it even more extreme that the last 155 chapters have been spent on events ocuring within a single day. I mean, straight from Orihimes abduction to HM invasion to Winter War, with no time to sleep inbetween…and the day is still not finished.
I wonder how long this keeps up? at the very least I would say until 175.

I never imagined that this arc was not only as long, but longer. SS seriously started like what…around volume 6ish? Then ended in 20? Thats a mere 14 volumes and this mammoth has (THUS FAR 0_0) been 21 volumes???? I mean, it bugged me that they fought that licker guy for a year or more before he FINALLY went down but I never realized that literally half of the entire series has been spent on this.

The problem with that is most of 4th Squad's hype is Unohana…and Unohana alone. I want to include Isane with that but unfortunately she's only really showed skill in kido and healing and hasn't even demonstrated her Shikai's power since she happened to be in the way of an angry Ichigo. Meanwhile, Iemura is essentially holding fort and has become more like the "Maki-Maki" of the squad as opposed to like the "Ikkaku"...and the only really notable character aside Unohana is Hanataro, who has a destructive Shikai is he uses it correctly.
The main difference between 4th and 11th hype is we've seen 11th in action...get back to me though when we have an opportunity for Unohana (and Isane) to go all-out.

A healing shiv. It shoots a giant energy beam once it heals enough people. I'm pretty sure it was only revealed in a between-chapter side-story exclusive to the volumes, where Kon takes over Hanataro's body.
It was also featured in the Shinigami side stories in the anime.

Considering that the first few volumes simply established the setting and focused on introducing the characters, I don't know that I'd differentiate between them and the Soul Society Arc seeing as how the latter is the direct result of what happens in the first few volumes and said volumes spend the vast majority of their time explaining the powers of Ichigo, Orihime, Chad, and Uryu.

At least Kishi is still getting closer to an ending. Kubo is just suddenly rushing because he finally woke up and realized this arc has been going way too long. But when the next arc begins, watch out, it'll be the same old bullcrap in a different year.

I would agree with you on kubo but kishi seems to have things planned out a little bit better, not by much but a little.

! That…was hilarious. Not stupid, just...so bad it's hilarious. I mean think about it: Mayuri conveniently finds a teleportation machine...and Ichigo (the main character) and Unohana (the most powerful of all healers) use it to go back to FKT...or hopefully to some bizarro dimension that Mayuri screws them with but this is predictable so that won't happen.
! Hiouri called ambulance Unohana that she was sliced so Unohana is going to heal her.
! And of course Mayri finds that most conventional teleport machine, or would you guys prefer another 50 chapters of searching machine? Well if it would mean pause at fighting then I could prefer it.
