! The 3 go off and watch the fight from a distance. It doesn't appear they will be involved.
! Ichigo says he's going to quickly defeat him and then go to the real world.
! He dons his mask and the chapter ends.
! You can only see a bit at the end, but it looks like Ichigo's mask has a horn. Maybe the one from before?
! Personal Thought: Well I guess Kubo just wants to throw away Yammi now like he did the rest of the Espada. He really has no further use though with the others gone.

So it finally happens, rukia, chad and renji are now the equivalent to yamcha, choatzu and Tienshinhan. The only person who even seems to do shit beside ichigo is ishida. Ishida's the krillin/piccolo they may not be the saiyans but at least they do more than "look at goku/ichigo power up!"

don't lie…in DBZ krillin was useless. He's cool in DB but that doesn't last long. Piccolo is more like the Vizard right now, useful and talented but really just waiting for the main character to show up. chad, renji, ishida, rukia...they're all yamcha

Uryu's done what? One or two useful things in the entire series and has been out of his league in every other instance. Yajirobe is a much more appropriate comparison for him though Yajirobe is also a lot perceptive than Uryu when it comes to recognizing his own limitations.

Krillin at least tried to fight against the major enemy's that's why I give him some props. Unlike yamcha, choatzu and Tien who after the saiyan arc did nothing but make off hand comments about fights and the only person who did anything else was tien and it was twice, once to keep cell form 2 at bay by using that force field technique and the second time was stopping a blast from boo.

still think your giving krillin too much credit…he's like the Kon of DBZ, you know he's all full of spirit and a can do attitude and he tries but his punches and attacks are soft...like a stuffed animal...

If it wasn't for vegeta krillin would have sliced nappa in half, he sliced off frieza's tail when practically everyone else couldn't even rip it off. Krillin may not be one of the hard hitters but hell compared to the other "human" characters he still tried. Hell he even tried to fight both cell and boo failed miserably yes but hell at least he did more than just look on saying "look at goku go"

@Gabbe: when did yamcha fight android 15? if your speaking of 20 a.k.a dr.gero than I wouldn't even call that a fight. He got pwnd in a matter of seconds. Choatzu blowing himself up to try and take out Nappa was a worthwhile effort but still useless.

For once you may be right. Byakuya killing Sode no Shirayuki was unexpected (though I do sort of wonder how that is going to be fixed later) as was the parallel fights of Byakuya/Renji & Zabimaru/Senbonzakura. At least the anime knows this is a mindless series and is just having fun with it.

It's the recent filler arc where some guy with long fingernails makes the Zanpakutou rebel. (but still weak to Hollow powers and Kido…go fig)

Manga's the same Hueco Mundo deal as it has been for the past three years or so, not including the Pendulum arc.

Anime's currently on filler, which is a lot more enjoyable than the manga's been in a while.

But yeah, I'd say that the anime would be a better way to catch up in general, seeing as how the series has been nothing but fights for the longest time and it actually improved on a good deal of those.

the 3rd movie sucks. Only good thing about it is seeing mayuri go ape shit on kenpachi and ichigo fighting the amnesia shinigami. Other than that it really sucks.

I figured. Most movies of long-running anime series suck. There are exceptions, but I wouldn't expect it from something like Bleach or Naruto these days. Just wanted to confirm. And w/ a Bleach movie, I'd pretty much being expecting random pointless battles, but yeah lol. Kinda lame when something starts w/ potential like Bleach or Naruto but then starts to fail more and more epically (0 Espada and Pain arc/moon plot/crazy focus on emo char (Sasuke), I'm looking at you).

I actually liked this chapter for a couple of reasons. The damn manga is finally back to the main character whose fights are usually a bit better. Also Ichigo slowly starting to accept his fall into darkness has been handled a lot better then Sasuke's in Naruto. I just am still disappointed at the rest of the Arrancars who were supposed to be cool, calm, and composed badasses at least in regards to how they treated Ichigo becoming nobodies in one chapter, that was even more of a shock then the Espadas fall from grace. Maybe Bleach can start heading uphill again with more Hollow Ichigo fights though.

I don't know how one guy doing nothing but GETSUGA TENSHOU skilllessly in every single fight with little variation - if any - at all can possibly grab anyone's interest. Even Goku used things that weren't Kamehameha once in a blue moon.

The only reason I enjoyed the Grimmjow fight was because Grimmjow was the one who made it worth watching. Ichigo himself is a dull, one-trick pony.

Though since the Ulquiorra fight kind of turned that on its ass, I pray that he'll gain some non-blandness from this point on.

His "let's get this shit over already" mentality in this latest chapter gives me some hope… though he still needs a new actual move.

Meh, now that I look back at it, I was thinking more of his SS arc fights. I guess not seeing the main character in a long time just made me forget most of the bad memories.

Meh, this chapter was decent. Kubo decently pulled off the feeling of size everytime Yammy did something, and as shallow as it is I like seeing a fighter beating down on a giant. Frankly, Ichigo having one move isn't an issue when it can be executed it multiple different ways.

Seeing Rukia and co beaten was hilariously bad and disappointing. I laugh a little, cause as much as a want these character to do something important it's just to be expected.
