@Ao:
robin is apparently a pretty powerful force considering she was paired with fucking crocodile in rank.
OR maybe she was a very IMPORTANT piece to Croc's planned and there was no logical reason to pair her with some fucking lame?
Then again the whole BW pairing was flawed to begin with they weren't just a strength indicator but who worked best with who. Also it's fact the majority of the men were stronger than the woman they were paired with.
To keep it simple. Maybe Robin was the strongest female in BW. It doesn't make her powerful tho. The woman right behind her was fucking defeated by Nami.
@loledinmypants:
I'm sure she's not the only one in this battle familiar w/ haki. At the very least, Marco commented on it when Shanks was on the Moby Dick. Hancock's powers also have been hinted to go beyond just the simple petrification move (pistol kiss, aroma femur) so I'm sure she'll be able to do something other than try to charm Smoker. She's pissed and just kicked him like a puppy, I doubt she's gonna make his defeat something so easy and arguably lenient as petrification right off the bat.
Whoa now I didn't say anything about Hancock defeating Smoker. She just kicked him. Displaying one of her obvious abilities; haki. That doesn't even correlate to her being a good fighter really. I'm just saying if you thought she was weak or didn't have any fighting skills you're a dumbass. She's a shichibukai. I expect nothing less from the rest of them from what we've seen with Croc and Moria.
Anyway, I expected Hancock to keep her cover pwning pirate and marine fodder alike. As I said, there're bound to be others who could have stopped Smoker with all the big names there.
And if you can't see that Robin's DF has the potential to be OP as fuck and she has the intelligence to do so if Oda chose to do it, you sir must be blind. She's only not percieved as powerful by the fanbase because Oda keeps her outside of most conflicts. And random idiot fodder calibur people in the OP world think she destroyed warships on her own when she was 8 at Ohara, so I'm sure there are tons of OPverse ppl who would think she's powerful.
I didn't focus or put any thought in to Hancock with this war since there are better characters around but this was a possible scenario that has happened.
I'm not sure on what scale you're using the word powerful. Powerful like the rest of the shichibukai fine. Powerful like the admirals or WB? NO. Seems you're talking about two different extremes. If ppl thought she was weak and didn't have skills in actual battle you're a dumbass, if you thought she was insanely strong/strongest shichibukai cuz Oda hasn't made her get in a direct one on one and cuz she has king's haki you're a dumbass.
Anyway lol @ Robin. She's not powerful. She has pretty good DF. Stop talking about fucking potential, unfortunately you won't be able to dictate how strong (or powerful lol) she gets. As of now she's not. I wasn't aware any part of the fandom thought she was powerful. As far as the OP world goes, fuck them. They aint us and they don't know shit. We're the readers we have a better grasp of the characters since we see them all the time. Since when does not being in most conflicts and not fighting fodder make you powerful or perceived as powerful? Again as far the ppl in the OPverse go fuck them. Who cares what they think? I mean who are you even talking about anyway? Whoever thinks she strong will end up with one of three possible conclusions; she's isn't powerful, she isn't powerful but is pretty strong, and she is and I just got pwned.
Do ppl even know what it means to label someone powerful?
Aokiji is powerful. Kizaru is powerful. Robin, not at all
