Whenever anyone seriously says stuff like that, it only inspires me more to vote for the opposition because it always seems like whining when their character is losing. Especially when its a close race that can still be turned around by a positive attitude, but a negative one only annoys people. Absalom lost because the other character is liked a little bit more by a percantage of people for a variety of reasons, not neccesarilly due to any failing of his own. Absalom had almost as many votes as Krieg, so obviously lots of people still like him and were rooting for him. If he had been up against say, Aum, or a random Amazon Lilly amazon, he'd probably have won by a 350 -50 or so. He just happens to be up against a very interesting opponent, which makes for a hard match in his first round.
You had your chance to sway things during the contest. If you'd taken a positive stand, not an incredulous negative one, there was an entire day for campaigning where you, yes you, could have turned it all around. It was a very close match and was just one catchy campaign away from grabbing swing votes.
robbybevard, your attitude in particular makes me GLAD Absalom lost, no one likes a sore loser. Especially not in a contest thats all about the FUN.
These words seem very wise. I shall pay heed to them in the future.
