I would eat a devil fruit that allows me to control the sea. Then I could control my weakness and be awesome, but such a thing doesn't exist in one piece…yet.

From the fruits that are known, I would take Laws. It looks awesome and I'd have fun messing with people.

There are so many I like, so it's really difficult to pick one ability that I'd like to use IRL.

But there are three that I'd like to use: Kidd's fruit, the Pika Pika No Mi and the Horu Horu no Mi. It would be just badass pulling cars, support beams, jewelery, weapons, and repelling bullets with Kidd's fruit, especially since there are trillions of things that can be magnetized in this day and age. Kizaru's fruit sates my need for godlike power, and the fact that I would have no need for public transportation since I'd be able to move at the speed of light. And the Horu Horu No Mi for practical purposes, never having to worry about my body, removing weight, curing myself, etc. Changing my gender at will would be awesome too.

I'd like to eat the Pika Pika no Mi, Kizaru's fruit. It'd be awesome to be able to move at the speed of light and of course to have a Logia so you can't be harmed.

Bomb Bomb Fruit. It has waay more potential than the way Mr 5 used it.

-Impact on punch/kick (obviously)
-Blast at elbow/heel before punch or kick for added damage.
-Blasts from feet to jump around air
-blow up heart to circulate blood faster, something like Gear 2nd
-Immunity from blast-based attacks

I'd definitely have the Hie Hie no Me (Ao Kiji's). However, I'm waiting to see what kind of DF Basil Hawkins has since it seems interesting. Kizaru or Enel's Df would be nice too.

I'd probably eat Kizaru's Pika Pika no Mi. Too good to pass up. It's not easily subdued by wind like smoker. Not overly destructive like ace and enel. And doesn't leave a large mess of ice like Aokiji.

If I were a light man... i'd be able to move at insane speeds. Get away with anything before anyone realizes i've done something. Be literally untouchable. And dispatch anything or anyone in seconds.

But the Paramecia-type fruits are great as well. Kidd's power is INSANE if you truly think of what you could do in this day and age.

-As bodybuilding is one of my favorite hobbies, this would definitely be useful. And it can be pretty subtle since you don't have to pump yourself up like urouge :D. But this is definitely one of my favorites. Able to use muscle mass like this is just pure win!

-Turning into a fucking ancient dinosaur is just win. Too much win. Fucking awesome

Aokiji's hiehie no mi
-Ice based abilities are some tight shit. Definitely a likely candidate

Ace's meramera no mi
-Another awesome logia

-Same as the above. Can even make weapons. Can move at speed of light. Most likely pick for me.
Enel's gorogoro no mi
-Shocking ppl is fun as shit

And even though it's such a common power in mangas, Ace's Mera Mera no Mi is also one of my favorites.

I enjoy Mr. 3's Doru Doru no Mi, also. One of my top 3 Paramecia's for sure.

I'd have to make a decision between two, the first being Hina's Ori Ori n Mi. If used in an offensive way it would be very difficult to beat in close combat. I would also consider Bege devil fruit ability as I simply like that, endless possibilities

Kuma can't go through solid objects and Enel makes too much noise. Also, being able to retreat into another dimension a really handy and you can take other people through your doors as well as enter any place whenever you want with out being detected.

However, I can easily use this fruit to be nice and tidy as well. A group of thugs is taken down in less than a second. All I have to do is kick them... not hard enough to go through a building... but hard enough to knock them the fuck out. And to someone watching... they would see me and the thugs one moment. A flash of light. And the next moment, all the thugs are on the ground and i'm already walking away.

I agree about the Doa Doa fruit though. It would make someone the ultimate criminal!

If I could think one myself I would choose the Tree fruit. Paramecia.

It's like the wax of Galdino en the Poison of Magellan.

In normal stand I just would be strong and sturdy. But not very quick. Can make my arms into wooden plates or something like that.
When I am in my rooted stand. I can heal damage slowly. But also I am stronger and quicker with attacks. Also in rooted stand I can "throw" seeds on the ground. Which become little tree minions n_n. BUT, I only have a range which I can use melee attacks and far melee attacks. I have ranged seed attacks.

One big attack would be Yggdrassil. Becoming huge. But also in a state of rampage. Which I see friend en foe alike. (Just see it as te big mana tree in TOS) Only a bit smaller =P

If I have to use a fruit in the series hmmm.. difficult. I think I would go for Mera Mera. Fire is just cool (h)

You can't make light slower than.. well, the light speed in the specific medium. Therefore, you can't screw around with it, either you send everyone through buildings or you knock them out without using the fruit, you can't be moderate with a power like that. It's sheer destructive Power. Though, of course, he could just use his Lasers, which would be less destructive, but also kinda… boring?

Invisible, Hormones or Bentham's fruit - I mean seriously, why would I want to have a fire Logia or anything of that sort? I would burn everything down... and who'd want to fight anyway? Just use a fruit that's convient for not-fighting-purpose and life's fine... :D
(Though, light-speed travelling would be kinda nice...)

and besides.. this is a fictional power we're talking about here. We can't really use real world logic behind it.

Doa Doa, definitely. It allows you to pass through any surface with the added benefit of complete invisibility (being hidden from all senses). You can be a ghost, basically.

Furthermore, I find it entirely possible that Kizaru could simply spin light within his body, not to mention the recent discovery that the speed of light can actually fluxuate.

For me, definately Enel's. It's not just destructive, but extremely practical. You can power your house, move at lightning speed do all sorts of stuff to gold and other metals. And imo can't lose to any other DF user, Enel could have put all of Luffy's body in gold and be done with him, why just his arm? There was plenty of gold.
BB also wouldn't stand a chance, he can take direct physical hits and i doubt he can stand up to 200m volts going through him…

Other than that, possibly Smokers or Kuma's.
I also wouldnt mind being a rubber man

Yes, but my point was that there are more dangerous aspects about their powers in general. Kicking someone really fast is a lot more humane and less destructive than electrocuting them, or freezing them.

any kinds of logia because they are just so cool(Kizaru's or Croc's croc's because despite the weakness the various ways of Croc using his ability was awesome..and if he really made his cloth by his ability that means you can do far more things compared to other logia types)

for real life I might chose Doru Doru no mi(Mr.3) because you can build a house! and well just really good fruit in real life)
